Pros: Excellent and centric location, modern hotel with restaurants and bar, good breakfast, housekeeping was friendly and very diligent, front desk staff was very attentive, was able to check in early into the room, bath products were great and towels dried well, bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Cons: Hotel rooms in NYC could always be more spacious.

The front door staff are INCREDIBLE!!! Literally the doormen are super helpful and friendly. Upon arrival, they were smiling from ear to ear, helping us out with any and every question we had about where to go, what to do and how to access certain points so first and foremost I'm SO grateful to have met them! The rooms are nice and spacious for a typical New York City hotel - highly recommend if you want more room. The bathroom/shower was also very spacious, and I was able to have beautiful views too! The bar downstairs was always busy so it never felt quiet (in a good way), in addition it was walking distance to everywhere and anywhere. I would highly recommend this as your next stay in NYC!

No complaints about the hotel or staff at all - the only thing I would warn tourists or visitors about are the bikers when you walk out of the hotel to grab a cab, don't just go out on the street - there's a bike lane and they don't care and will hit you if you're in the way lol. Just a quick fyi

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to subway stations and 5th Avenue. The doormen were really nice and friendly, as were most of the reception staff. Our room worked quite well for us, as we were two adults and two children and we didn't want to get two rooms. It was a squash but not terrible, and the bathroom was large by NYC standards.

Nothing really, other than that the value for money was not great, but certainly no worse than other hotels. Manhattan hotels are very expensive! One minor gripe was the shower taps were very irritating. The temperature could not easily be adjusted, it was either too hot or too cold. And the pressure was quite weak. The hotel could really invest in new taps. Even the engineer we had to call admitted the room's shower taps were old and difficult to work. There was nothing special done for us. No chocolates at night, no turn down, although they did help out with an extra 90 minutes for check out.

The location was excellent, the food options were excellent, the room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed, including plenty of towels and toiletries. Also appreciated the food credit for our room not being ready by check in.

The $10 water bottle was a bit of a put off, after spending so much at this 5 star hotel. We had asked for a 3pm check in, but weren't able to access the room until after 4pm. The tv was small and outdated, and some of the channels didn't get proper reception. The water pressure wasn't the best.

nice hotel, great location. Our room was on high floor with very good view on empire state building. Room was comfortable, nice design. comfortable bed, good lighting. Lobby bar had a good choice of drinks, modern design, friendly staff. Restaurant has specific openings hours which is not really what we are used to, but that might be OK for USA.

staff on the reception was unfriendly, very formal. restaurant was very busy, you probably have to book two day in advance. no buffet breakfast No Coffee Machine or cattle in the Room ! that is Huge thing! you have to wait till restaurant is open to have a cup of coffee or tea!

This is one of my favorite hotels in New York. Great restaurants.

When I called down to get a bucket of ice. Couldn't get a bucket of ice??? Told to go to 5th floor there's plastic bags. NO ICE BUCKET IN ROOM??? Am I suppose to keep ice in the bathroom sink??? Hmmmm. When I'm staying at what's supposed to be a 4 or 5 star hotel I'm not accustomed to having to get my own ice from the 5th floor. I tip well for service. I choose other hotels when I'm treated like I'm staying at a Motel 6. Not impressed with this change at all.

Do not bill yourself as a Chelsea Area hotel You definitely are t even close. If that had been true we would have had access to the Chelsea Market etc. etc.within walking distance

Great hotel; clean, comfortable rooms; great restaurants on site; friendly staff.

Price of drinks in the bar was extortionate.

Great location, loved the two onsite restaurants, view of the Empire State at night was lovely. Our suite was decent sized and comfortable, huge bathroom with bath.

Lifts were a little dodgy, check in process was incredibly slow - there was a huge line, we attempted to check in earlier than 3pm after a long haul flight but were told to come back at 3 and when we returned there were about 50 other people lined up to check in.

Room was large for NYC standards, big comfy bed. Huge bathroom and shower with great amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Safety was a priority with staff checking all people entering hotel and key checks to elevators after hours. Great location - many food options around, easy walk to 34th street shopping, Moynihan train, and subways.

Tv seemed to change channels on its own and would reset each time it was turned off to a loud volume.
