The inn was very clean and well appointed. Rooms were comfortable and had all the extra touches one could ask for. The location was ideal for walking to both Kittery and Portsmouth town centers. We loved being near the water with the amazing bridges and harbor. Although it is a "self-serve" inn, communication with the manager was consistent and friendly.

A hook or towel rod near the sink would have been handy. I do miss IRL contact with inn-keepers and am a little disappointed that we didn't meet in person.

I was traveling by myself and didn't want to stay in a cheap hotel chain. I wanted to feel safe and in a nice clean, cozy place and my room as perfect! I was in room #4. I didn't really see anyone else since I just used my phone number to open the door to the place and to my room. Super easy!

The only thing that wasn't clear was whether I was allowed to use the shampoo, conditioner - they all looked brand new and there was a note about prices. I assume I could have used them but there was an option to buy them and I didn't want to do that! Minor thing!

The location is perfect, ample parking, easy checkin. The added bonus of available coffee is a great facility Friendly staff

Having stayed previously we felt the property was starting to look a little tired. We had room 4 and we both felt that the mattress could do with replacing. It was very soft (personal choice I know). But it also dipped in the middle. Other than that the room was very pleasant.

We had a cozy room in this beautifully appointed inn. The location was really convenient to both Kittery and Portsmouth. Beverages and snacks that were available around the clock were a nice touch. I was a little skeptical of staying at a place with a mostly "virtual" staff but everything went super smoothly and we had a very nice stay.

This is a really minor issue, but we'd recommend a larger shower curtain in the bathroom.

Location was excellent - near enough to Kittery and Portsmouth but quiet as well. Very quaint and welcoming property - lovely sitting room on the first floor. Bedroom perfect size and bathroom was very functional.

Didn't realize we were on 3rd floor so getting bags up the stairs was a mild challenge.

Super cute hotel in old victorian house. Good location close to nearby Portsmouth. Bed was amazingly comfortable, and room was cute though smallish. Lobby had snacks and coffee. Access was easy.

It's an old Victorian house so rooms are not soundproof. Rooms are on the small side. Coffee machine broke on our first morning there, but they had tea and other options.

Everything. Checking in was simple, the room size was as anticipated in an antique building and the bathroom was larger than what one would expect. The staff members were friendly and the entire facility was neat and clean. The price was reasonable and there were no additional fees, such as parking or “resort” fees. Overall, we hope to return and would highly recommend to others.

Quiet neighborhood, free parking space, easy access to Portsmouth by walking.

This was our last night in the USA and I can tell with certainty that the room size was NOT the standard we experienced on our trip. It is just too small. There was no way to open two suitcases in the room due to lack of space. Other than that the stay was very enjoyable.

Beautiful decor, good linen, nice extra little touches and the room was immaculately clean. Great in site parking. Quiet area and other guests were quiet and respectful. Easy check in check out. Would definitely stay here again. Book with confidence!! Restaurants in Kittery close early like around 8pm so keep that in mind if you want to support the local venues.

Bed a little soft but I sleep on a hard mattress so have this issue everywhere most people won't mind I am sure. The pillows were very comfortable and good quality linen.

It was a beautiful room and I enjoyed having the kitchen in the suite.

The hairdryer in room 7 was a bit beaten up and had cracked components. The pumps on the hand soap did not work properly.
