This place is so run down. I checked in and the first room they sent me to was either still dirty or still occupied. TV blasting and bed looked still stayed in. Trash everywhere. Closed the door and asked for a different room. Second room, down a very dark hallway. No internet, tv don’t work, poo in the toilet. I left and went elsewhere. Doesn’t feel safe and the grounds are overgrown with weeds and trash all over the parking lot.

Small motel with amazing utilities - everything that is needed is inside the room - microwave, coffee maker. Beds are very comfortable and generally it is clean. It is located at the beginning of the city center, so everywhere you can walk. An amazing addition - behind the place you can find an old barn where the old western movies directed close to the city were made - amazing vibe and cinema!! Super recommended.

All facilities and general decoration of room is very old and could be already refreshed. Also generally it is clean, but there are parts that you can see have not been cleaned for a very long time - like windows, curtains or AC had not been cleaned inside or with filters.. This could raise a lot an experience.

This was an unexpected charm, although an older historic lodge. It's was clean and comfortable. The room was big the beds comfortable, towels a good size. Water pressure and hot water was available at any time. The separate toilet, sink and shower was great with a sink available out side the bathroom as well was appreciated. The fridge and microwave was great to have. The breakfast was good, I asked for oatmeal and was given delicious oatmeal, as a vegan that was important as well as the peanut butter and fruit.

Without an elevator we brought up just what we needed. Limited vegan options and no gluten free bread.

Cute old fashioned on the outside but still very comfortable on the inside. I loved the hard floors that were really clean in the room. I loved having 2 sinks which made it easier for the family to get ready in the morning. We also really enjoyed the pool.

I wished the breakfast was included, I didn’t realize we had to pay an extra $10 for each adult and $8 for each kid! We ended up buying some cereals at the grocery store and eating in the room. The coffee machine was not working! So anyways breakfast was a little bit of a struggle because we didn’t want to pay $40 for a coffee and and 2 cups of cereals.

We loved the historical value of the hotel! It was so fun to look at all the pictures on the walls, and to see the names on the doors. We stayed in the James Arness room, which made my husband, who loves Gunsmoke, very happy! I encourage you to watch the video shown in the barn, about the history of the hotel, and the area, impacted by Hollywood movies. It's very interesting!! Also, the breakfast buffet is great!! One of the best breakfasts we had on our 2 week vacation. I would love to stay at Parry Lodge again!

Rooms were a little small, but worth the stay, nonetheless.

Very pleasant staff on reception and in the breakfast room. When we booked the object we didn't know we are coming to "Small Hollywood". Kanab and especially Parry Lodge have great movie-making history. Many famous acters and directors have stayed in Parry Lodge what is documented by many photos at the reception area. It is old-fashioned ground floor motel, where you can park your car just in front of your room. Room has sleeping and living room, equiped with coffee machine, refrigerator and even microwave oven. Everything is well maintained and clean. You can get very good breakfast with juice and coffee for just 10$. If you have to stay overnight in Kanab or nearby don't miss Parry Lodge!

Lovely place with lots of old Hollywood history (which I didn't know but was wonderful to see all the great actors who filmed there, stayed there, partied there! ) The beds were comfy enough, everything was super clean. I had the room with 2 king beds and there was still loads of space in the room! There's breakfast buffet for $10 (eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, yogurt etc). I didn't actually get to have it because I needed to get on the hiking trails before sunrise but on the day I left it smelled good!

The AC /heater was VERY noisy. Good thing I was absolutely exhausted from all the hiking otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep from it. It did wake me up a few times even so!

Wonderful historic hotel in Kanab, dubbed "little Hollywood" during the 1940s and 1950s for the numerous Westerns filmed in the area. The hotel played host to virtually all the movie stars, directors, producers, etc., during that era. A wonderful place to stay!

Lack of outlets in the room. In this day of people traveling with numerous electronic devices, the lack of electrical outlets was bothersome. I had to unplug one of the lamps to plug in my mobile phone. (There was one open plug outlet, but it was so loose my plug would not stay in.) Otherwise, wonderful place to stay.

We arrived early for check in and the room wasnt ready. Reception checked us in and we went for a walk around town. Fab icecream shop and local museum. On our return, still early, the room was being cleaned so we were offered a lovely cup of tea and receptionist gave us local info whilst we used the wifi and relaxed. As soon as the room was ready we got access. Lovely little cabin, biju bathroom, and everything we needed. As we left reception we were given 2 comp breakfast tickets to thank us for waiting... so sweet we really didnt mind the wait since we were early anyway. Brilliant nights sleep on great bed. Now off for breakfast! Only regret the pool is not open for the season until next week.

This is a beautiful historic lodge right in the middle of Kanab and this was my second time staying here. The beds are really comfortable and for 2 king beds, the value is amazing. Decor and overall furnishings show some age but considering the history of the place, it's part of the charm. Everything is clean and the room's are fairly sound proofed compared to other hotels I've stayed at. The fire pits at night are fun as well as the old western shown in the barn. The breakfast buffet is a great price for everything on offer. I would definitely stay again and again.
