When I booked this place, I had NO idea what I was booking. If you are an animal lover, this place is FANTASTIC! The room was equipped with everything you need for your pups! Dog bowls, a cute little pawprint sticker on the toilet paper roll (yes, that made me smile)! They have a pull-out dog bed at the foot of the bed and provided awesome treats for the boys (puppies) upon arrival. The Mercantile is amazing and all profits go back into the animal sanctuary operation! If you are looking for a place to cater to your animals, look no further, you will LOVE it! The dog park area is super cool, and they also have a doggie spa area so you could bathe your puppers too! I was so taken with this place that I am hopeful to go back and volunteer at the Animal Sanctuary!

The only thing I didn't like is that my stay was too quick! We were only there for 1 night as we were just passing through town and didn't have a lot of time to dilly dally!

This place was the most dog inclusive facility I’ve ever been to. It’s been a real struggle to find accommodations that did not charge an arm and a leg, that was clean, comfortable and quiet & smoke free. I was initially skeptical how close the rooms were to each other, but you couldn’t hear the person in the next room and that’s real important when you have a reactive dog. My dog settled easily in the room, even when I had to step out. The location was nearby a lot of hiking trails & the people were friendly and very helpful.

The price was definitely high, it would have been nice to have a microwave to heat up food(not a deal breaker) & breakfast options.

The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are good. Very spacious. The Hotel supports the animal sanctuary. Very beautiful outside, surrounded by red Rock canyon .

The breakfast was vegan only. Tasted a bit unusual. There was no real milk for coffee, only oa milk and almond milk. My wife mentioned that there was a very light smell of a dog, but that is understandable as people can stay here with animals, personal ones and from shelter.

Beautifully renovated. The rooms were so nice and the bed was super comfortable. The grounds are also very beautiful. We did not have our dogs on this trip, but we can’t wait to bring them here. We want to do a doggie road trip just to come here and stay. SUPER IMPORTANT: if you do not have a dog, you can borrow a shelter dog from Best Friend’s Animal Shelter down the road to take them on a sleepover for the night which I think is the cutest thing ever. We definitely wanna do this sometime as well!!!!!

The breakfast presented a great start to the day. All employees were eager, welcoming and delightful to talk with. The merchandise is varied and of quality. What a marvelous introduction to the wonder of Best Friends.

Great rooms and especially wonderful if you’re bringing your dog as it has all kinds of amenities that accommodate your pup. Quiet, clean, modern, dog friendly, great location.

Breakfast included in stay could be improved. Instant oatmeal in a bag and with hot water was a bit of a let down. As a wine drinker, I wish room would have had actual glasses rather than only paper cups.

All staff was super pleasant and excited to greet my pet and I. About an hour from GC north rim, Zion, and Bryce so very central if you’re looking to spend some time outside in wonder. Room was beautiful.

I think someone might have gone to the dunes that had my room before because there was sand all over the floor. It was kind of funny because the staff told me that the floors might still be wet so I think they couldn’t tell. I didn’t complain, just wore socks, because I knew my pet would bring sand/dirt in too eventually.

Exceptional place to stay, especially when traveling with dogs. Very clean, comfortable beds, convenient location. Staff was very friendly and professional and went above and beyond to help.

The staff there was great. Got some good tips for activities around the area. I’m not a dog owner. I don’t mind dogs , it’s the owners that bother me. some leave their dogs, in the room, whining while their owners go someplace🙄

Pet friendly with no added fees and so accomodating to travel with our dog and cats. Treats when you arrive and friendly staff. Love visiting Kanab and specifically stop in town just to stay at Best Friends.
