We have been on the road in southern Utah for 10 days. Canyon Lodge was by far the most enjoyable lodging experience we’ve had. Even though we stayed in one of their “cozy” cottages, the cleanliness, attention to detail and warmth of the lodge far surpassed anything we experienced in more spacious and more expensive Hotels. The staff was also extremely helpful in assisting us choose a place for dinner and breakfast the next morning. Their friendliness and concierge service-like attention to detail made Kanab one of our favorite spots. If we come back this way again, we will be upgrading to a larger room at Canyon’s Lodge, and staying longer!

Everything was exceptional!

The owner greeted us and showed us to our rooms, he was very personable and helpful, including giving us options for dinner nearby. The rooms, though small, were well-appointed, spotless, and perfectly fine for a one night stay. At least two dining options were within an easy walk, which was welcome. Breakfast was included, in the hotel across the street, and was exceptionally good, with many options, all of whichl were delicious.

There was quite a lot of intermittent road noise which was a little annoying and the air-conditioner in our room was so noisy and cycled on and off so frequently we finally unplugged it and slept comfortably without it.

Darling room, small but with nice touches and care. Card with our name to greet us. Robes for after the shower. Soaps were very nice and the place was very clean. Might be a little cramped for larger people. TV, microwave, coffee maker, frig all worked well. AC perhaps a bit noisy for a small room, but again worked well. Outdoors were a couple of chairs to sit in like a porch and there were other sitting areas outside. We did not use the pool but it's nice to have the option. Some other family certainly seemed to enjoy it, especially the kids. We opted to pay for the breakfast across the street. A bit pricey but was better than other hotels, i.e., real food -- good eggs and sausages, biscuits and gravy looked good, fruit was better quality, and so on.

Shower was a little tight and we couldn't adjust the direction of the showered very well. Plenty of hot water though and again the toiletries were nice quality. Appreciated the warning about red Utah dust not coming out of the towels (white) so they said they would offer us other towels for wiping up.

Super nice manager, tall guy from Seattle. Room was decorated so nicely! Loved the faux deer head and the rug wall hanging. Room was very clean and had a beautiful view of the red rock hills and the gorgeous row of catalpa trees separating the lodge from the highway. They even provide each room with a chair on the balcony/walkway to enjoy the view. Outdoor pool area looked nice but small - didn’t use. They also have a fire pit.

No elevator, not a problem for me but maybe for others. Right on the highway which was convenient for me but some might not like the road noise during the day. Pretty quiet at night though

Location was perfect after a long drive from Wyoming. Travis created me before I got to the office to check in and gave me all the details on places to eat. He was WONDERFUL! We had one of the petite rooms which was perfect for us the bed was extremely cozy and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was AMAZING!!! We will definitely be back. There is a lot of exploring in the area just need more time.

The room was beautifully appointed and very clean. The property was well kept and cozy, both inside and outside. The breakfast that we purchased on arrival was quite tasty!

The room was very small. There was walking room on 2 sides of the bed, shimmying room on the other side. There was also no room for a second chair in the room, for a second person in the room. The only other place to sit was the bed.

Property was clean , tidy and had some great finishing touches. The personalised note from the owner/manager with our name and the weather for the next day was a great touch. Nice grounds and outdoor area for sitting and chatting watching the sun go down.

The Air Con was very loud but did not affect our sleep or our enjoyment of the stay

Nice location and atompshere…

We reported that we do not have hot water in shower or sink on our second day in the morning before we departed. There was green blinker while we were sleeping which it was constantly blinker all right including one on wall which we does not know what is for..it was red blinker too.

We had the cutest little room. Perfect for 2 people. So fresh and clean, smelling. Travis was amazing, walked us to our room instead of pointing or giving you a map to find on your own. Recommended some really good places to eat. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay there again when in the area. Nice sitting area. Too hot for the fire pit, though. Thank you, Travis

Maybe the air conditioner is a little too loud.

Canyons Lodge was absolutely gorgeous, the room was clean, and it was so close to many fun outdoor activities. The water pressure in the shower was outstanding, the provided bath robes were cozy, and the chromecast feature on the TV was a huge plus for us! The best part of staying at Canyons Lodge was the staff who were very helpful and communicated from the moment we booked our room to just past checkout to ensure that our visit was satisfactory!
