Cute cottage, perfect for a countryside escape in Japan. There is an amazing heater so it’s always warm inside. The sauna is a great feature, just make sure you heat it up way ahead. Everything is clean and prepared for your stay, including an equipped kitchen. The second floor is so cosy, and there’s even a balcony! And I love the tatami and futon downstairs, which is a room that can also be used as a kids’ play room. The self check-in process was super simple, you can check in anytime you want after the check-in time.

Located in the quite neighbourhood, opposite of the noisy hotel complexes of Late Toya. If you qre lloking forward to somewhere quiet and private this would be the best place to go to. One minute away from the lakeshore where a great view of the lake and mountain right before you. It is not far from the supermarket, about 20 min driving will take you to the nearest town supermarket where you can get all the groceries you need. Probably not an ideal place to find suppers but if you can cook, there is nothing to worry about. Cookware is basic but enough. Sauna is the cherry on top, a hot water bath and a 10 min of sauna steam, takes all the problems away.

It was a little too far from Rusutsu for us, but that was no fault of the accommodation. Need to supply butter knives, tea towels and slippers. Some coat hooks in the sauna corridor would be really helpful for hanging clothes and towels for showering and sauna, and also some shelves to put personal items and toiletries on as there isn't really anywhere for toiletries in the shower/washbasin area other than the tiny shelves next to the shower. Also perhaps a small table or shelves to store clothes in the bedrooms.

The cabin was beautiful, everything made out of wood made us feel very comfortable. It is fully equipped with everything you need. Kitchen, sofa, TV, washing machine and dryer. It's a pity we didn't stay longer.

The location is 20 minutes drive away from Toya onsen but it wasn't a big deal as we had rented a car.

Quiet and peaceful place. Short walk to the bank of the lake. Sauna was nice. Best for two persons at a time. Strong water pressure for showers and sinks. Fast internet connection.

None of the points below outweigh the positives for this place. There were few plug outlets available, so better bring a plug multiplier and possibly an extension cable. Parking space was a bit tight but totally park-able. The beds were all comfy but the futon in the tatami room was too thin for my liking and I got a rough back in the morning.

Owners took care to switch on lights and heater so that it was comfy when we checked in. Very spacious and well equipped. Loved the sauna. Parking is right beside property.

Everything was good except that we could not locate it after nightfall. Had to drive around 3 times before located the place. No one pick up emergency number, and we had to ask for help at the minimart. The ground in front of the apartment has a huge paddle of water due to rain. We nearly stepped on it after parked as we could not see anything at the parking area. Overall its a really nice place to stay and will choose to comeback again.

Good surrounding environment with ample of parking space. Around 15 mins drive to the central part of Lake Toya. The size of the apartment was large with all necessary ammenities included; the best part was the sauna. Definitely recommended.

The place is very clean. It is fully furnished. My kids were able to play with the snow right outside of the house. Checking in is a breeze, clear instructions were given. We have no issues going into the house.

Nothing much to complain.

Great view of Lake Toya just a few minutes walk away.

All beds at the 2nd floor, it's a bit inconvenient when you have an elderly staying at the place. The pillow is a bit too soft for my liking.
