The staff were friendly and helpful. I was impressed with their attentiveness. The room was nice, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower head was a problem, but I figured it out.

The shower head didn't really have any strength or pressure, and neither did the sink. The hook on the back of the bathroom door was missing, so I couldn't hang my wet towel, so I had to place it on the floor. When I went to get hot water from the cafe, it was not hot. I was told that there was an alternative in a machine near the front desk. It was great and HOT.

There was an additional charge for our using a credit card which, I thought, was excessive and did no appreciate.

We don't like taking a cold shower, but the water in shower runs cold for a while before the hot water comes, so we had to run the shower for upto 3 mins before getting the hot water. It eventually did come but I hate wasting anything including water and I didn't like that all that water was wasting because the hot water takes such a long time. But the temperature was just perfect once the hot/warm water comes

Clean, great price/value, great staff, comfortable bed, very large room with good amenities! Staff all welcoming, smiles and wishes us a safe trip home! Nice to see older, dependable housekeeping staff! Great breakfast choices of delicious food to start your day!! Good room location. Quiet! Jonathan the manager and all staff were very outgoing, patient, caring and at times, made us laugh, not knowing we really needed it!!🙂

Entry driveway is at a bad spot just before a stop light, with only one way in and it's a bad dip for certain vehicles or if you have a trailer. Would be great to have entrance coming from the stoplight side! Minor thing, get the flagpole fixed to have the US flag in proper position....we are a military family!

The biscuits were hard and dry! everything else was great! good coffee, waffles, yoga. the breakfast was more than anyone could ask for! I will stay there again. the only thing I left my cell phone charger in the wall. if they would send it to me I would be grateful I stayed in room 116, first floor. MAY 10th ELAINE MCPHERSON. HAVE CELL PHONE CONNECTION ALREADY IN THE ROOM. THE BATH ROOM WAS NICE WITH ALL THE EXTRAS. MAKEUP CLEANER, ETC. WE WERE VERY PLEASED. IT WAS CLOSE TO THE BARTER THEATER.

Great location, very accommodating and friendly staff, good breakfast selection. I could access the interstate to surrounding communities and also be in the historic district in 6 minutes.

As a good budget hotel it exceeded my expectations. It was safe, clean and comfortable. It is an older hotel so of course it shows some wear but I did not dislike anything.

The location is great for my trips to Abingdon. The staff is very friendly, and the facilities are clean and comfortable. The bed was amazing!

The shower was awful. The shower head barely worked. After playing with the steam door several seconds, it finally got me wet, but that was about it. I got wetter during the rain storm!

Our king room was spacious and clean. As everyone mentions, the staff members were very friendly and efficient. The location is close to the highway but only a mile or two from the cute historic part of Abingdon, with its old houses and restaurants (we loved 128 Pecan). Breakfast looked like a better spread than is usual at highway motels.

The bed was softer than I prefer, and the water pressure in the shower was quite weak, even on the ground floor.

The hotel furnishings were on the older side but my room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Excellent bed, WIFI, AC and water pressure in shower. Courteous staff. Not much to walk to around the hotel but main drag with lots of shops and eating options a five minute drive away. This hotel hit the sweet spot in terms of affordability and amenities.

Coffee was undrinkable. Breakfast meh.
