The LUX LAT PHRAO (Google Map reference name) was the most reasonably priced hotel that was available within a suitable distance to the famous Chatuchuk Weekend Market. We walked to it a couple of times, but it was still a good 1km walk. It was clean and comfortable, but as it was the rainy season, we didn't get to use many of its facilities.

It's a little bit out of the way, and taxi drivers have to know their stuff to find it, but Google Maps helped (once they'd got the right hotel name!)

Fantastic value for money (we paid 1,012 baht/night). The cafe provides an excellent service - great choice of snacks and meals, and great fresh fruit shakes. An on-site gym, swimming pool and massage service are great additions. A small kitchen is provided - but if you are staying for a few days, you might want to obtain some dishwashing detergent/cleaners etc for use in the kitchen, as these are not provided.

As is often the case in Thailand - the beds are relatively hard. More comfortable mattresses would be very welcome. The showers are quite petite - so if you have a large BMI - you may find it uncomfortable squeezing yourself into the shower. Our room had no bedside tables (but did have a (narrow) bedhead shelf). You can use one of the kitchen chairs for a bedside table if you have electronics that are a little larger than the behead shelf.

We stayed at six different hotels during our 1-month stay in Thailand and the Lux Ladphrao - for balance of convenience and comfort relative to nightly rate - was our favourite. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Proper large well-equipped gym. The pool was actually a little better than it appeared in the photos (unusually!). The cafe-restaurant offered very good quality Thai meals and large iced coffee, etc, for 40-80 baht a go and we really enjoyed eating there at least once every day of the trip. On-site massage on the 2nd floor was wonderful.

The hotel is on a lovely street, but Lat Phrao road itself is quite a busy highway. Still, metro is only a short walk and there's plenty of department stores nearby.

The Room was so nice, came with a good sized fridge/ freezer, microwave, tv. The bed was very firm but I had no trouble sleeping. Cafe/ restaurant was good as well, and offered room service if wanted. Close to some really nice cafes, and slight walk from Big C and Union Mall and MRT station which is nice, maybe 20 or so minute walk to the BTS station and also Chatuchak market but the heat made it seem longer ^^' so better take a grab, you won't regret it lol the room was cleaned basically everyday and 2 water bottles given each time. Overall it was a great stay and the staff were all great/ friendly

The remote for the living/ dining room was missing, but didn't really bother me as the one in the bedroom was good enough, so I just left it. Another thing I had trouble with was the front entrance when it was wet, since it's sloped I almost slipped and fell 2 times 🤣🤣🤣 might be good to put a rubber mat or something there so people don't slip 😅

We stayed here for its proximity to the new central train station. It only was only 15 minutes by taxi. What we paid per night was a fantastic deal for essentially a small condo. Kitchen, sitting area, separate bedroom. Swimming pool and gym were added value. Staff were super nice.

The shower compartment was pretty tight. A really large person wouldn't be able to get in and close the door. Also, a few more pictures or other decorations would be nice.

This is a lovely, affordable, and quiet place to stay. The rooms are very spacious, and the added amenities like the pool and gym are a great bonus. While the location isn’t central (in Bangkok), but it’s in a peaceful area within walking distance of a mall, which is convenient. Not sure about public transport because I used Bolt and Grab which were always available within 5-10 minutes.

The "American breakfast" was sufficient but no the best, and only one breakfast option which would be an issue for long stays. The staff try their best but really struggle to communicate in English which can cause a few inconveniences and misunderstandings. It would be great to have at least one staff member who has an above average fluency in English.

We came to Bangkok mainly to check out the Chatuchak markets and flew into DM international. This hotel was very close to both. A 5 minute grab ride to the market and close to the big beautiful park. The arrival staff was lovely and helped us check in late. The pool is beautiful and such a good temperature after a hot day of walking around Bangkok. We had a family room and it was quite big. A lot of space. The breakfast was big too! Abundance of food. They also offer very cheap massages at the hotel! It’s a great spot if you’re focused on that side of town and especially the market! Great value for money in that area.

I liked most things! A great hotel. The shower needed a bit of a better clean though but that’s the only negative.

Breakfast was normal continental breakfast. As expected, nothing great but enough to keep you going. Location was good, 10 minute walk to Big C supermarket and other eateries if desperate. Near to bus and train if public transport is your choice to travel. Hotel will arrange grab pickup for you if requested. Restaurant downstairs was helpful for lunch and dinner till 8pm in the night. They also stock up on necessary things if we want to buy from the hotel shop. When we arrived, hotel staff allowed us to check into our room at around 10am though check in was only at 2pm. That helped us a lot. They took 500 cash as deposit and it was refunded as soon as we checked out. Very friendly staff and very prompt if we need any service in our room.

I cannot fault it.

Had a short stay, only one night and everything was super ok. Spacious enough, warm water, a restaurant at the entrance and even a pool. The bed was really comfy. A mall is very close, although I haven't been there yet. I think cutlery was missing, but I am sure you can ask the receptionist, they are helpful :)

I felt like the cleaner had gone on holidays the floor was so dirty I was looking for products to mop myself yuk! The gym I actually started cleaning as having black hands after using dumbbells gave me the ikk! Being Munched by mosquitos because all the windows open onto street & fish pond poolside is not fun wear more repellent folks! The kitchen is a microwave & kettle sink . But no knives chopping board or utensils of any kind pot noodle could be your only choice bye bye fitness fanatic.!
