The LUX LAT PHRAO (Google Map reference name) was the most reasonably priced hotel that was available within a suitable distance to the famous Chatuchuk Weekend Market. We walked to it a couple of times, but it was still a good 1km walk. It was clean and comfortable, but as it was the rainy season, we didn't get to use many of its facilities.

It's a little bit out of the way, and taxi drivers have to know their stuff to find it, but Google Maps helped (once they'd got the right hotel name!)

We stayed at six different hotels during our 1-month stay in Thailand and the Lux Ladphrao - for balance of convenience and comfort relative to nightly rate - was our favourite. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Proper large well-equipped gym. The pool was actually a little better than it appeared in the photos (unusually!). The cafe-restaurant offered very good quality Thai meals and large iced coffee, etc, for 40-80 baht a go and we really enjoyed eating there at least once every day of the trip. On-site massage on the 2nd floor was wonderful.

The hotel is on a lovely street, but Lat Phrao road itself is quite a busy highway. Still, metro is only a short walk and there's plenty of department stores nearby.

Fantastic value for money (we paid 1,012 baht/night). The cafe provides an excellent service - great choice of snacks and meals, and great fresh fruit shakes. An on-site gym, swimming pool and massage service are great additions. A small kitchen is provided - but if you are staying for a few days, you might want to obtain some dishwashing detergent/cleaners etc for use in the kitchen, as these are not provided.

As is often the case in Thailand - the beds are relatively hard. More comfortable mattresses would be very welcome. The showers are quite petite - so if you have a large BMI - you may find it uncomfortable squeezing yourself into the shower. Our room had no bedside tables (but did have a (narrow) bedhead shelf). You can use one of the kitchen chairs for a bedside table if you have electronics that are a little larger than the behead shelf.

We stayed here for its proximity to the new central train station. It only was only 15 minutes by taxi. What we paid per night was a fantastic deal for essentially a small condo. Kitchen, sitting area, separate bedroom. Swimming pool and gym were added value. Staff were super nice.

The shower compartment was pretty tight. A really large person wouldn't be able to get in and close the door. Also, a few more pictures or other decorations would be nice.

This is a lovely, affordable, and quiet place to stay. The rooms are very spacious, and the added amenities like the pool and gym are a great bonus. While the location isn’t central (in Bangkok), but it’s in a peaceful area within walking distance of a mall, which is convenient. Not sure about public transport because I used Bolt and Grab which were always available within 5-10 minutes.

The "American breakfast" was sufficient but no the best, and only one breakfast option which would be an issue for long stays. The staff try their best but really struggle to communicate in English which can cause a few inconveniences and misunderstandings. It would be great to have at least one staff member who has an above average fluency in English.

Had a short stay, only one night and everything was super ok. Spacious enough, warm water, a restaurant at the entrance and even a pool. The bed was really comfy. A mall is very close, although I haven't been there yet. I think cutlery was missing, but I am sure you can ask the receptionist, they are helpful :)

Strange location, extra deposit for key (500 baht), so loud airconditioner (exterior), not so friendly stuff, weird windows - you can hear everything from outside.

I felt like the cleaner had gone on holidays the floor was so dirty I was looking for products to mop myself yuk! The gym I actually started cleaning as having black hands after using dumbbells gave me the ikk! Being Munched by mosquitos because all the windows open onto street & fish pond poolside is not fun wear more repellent folks! The kitchen is a microwave & kettle sink . But no knives chopping board or utensils of any kind pot noodle could be your only choice bye bye fitness fanatic.!

the staff were nice, a young guy took my suitcase to my room upon arrival, the restaurant had nice mangoes they peeled and cut up for me, pool was nice and water warm, they delivered breakfast to my room, got 2 bottles of water each day and room serviced, there was good size fridge and plenty of tv channels including some in english, good aircondioning, in fact 2, one for each room, had to be careful on the temp settings or it could get too cool at night, lifts worked well

much smaller than in the picture, no table or chair, had to eat with plate on my knees, no bedside table, 15cm gap between bed and wardrobe was tricky at times, no footpath from the hotel to the main street, almost an hour on packed subway to get to the tourist attractions, no supermarket anywhere apart of 7-Eleven, the bed was bit hard

I liked this place! Came for 1 night, stayed for 3 weeks :) Very comfy, basic, good price/value ration Big rooms! Felt like i was renting the whole apartment A bit far from everything, but due to that - no noisy roads around, which is super important to me. As I'm sensitive to sounds. Took room at 7th floor, only heard some rare bikes there, slept pretty well (but it can be a bit more noise on lower floors) Good cafe inside Basic gym and pool (thoughtit was so cold 😄)

Had some strange argument with some guy who talked loudly by phone in the gym/ turned his music. I asked him to do it in a cafe area as he distracted me, he got angry and started attacking me. I went to administrator and asked for some help but he didn't do anything specific. Only asked that guy one more time and when he refused to stop talking in the gym, administrator just..... gave up lol :) I believe it's some cultural thign about avoiding conflicts + desire not to have any disagreement with guests. But as an other guest I felt a bit less secured after that, knowing that nobody will tell this guy anything
