The location is perfect, close to sights and Via Etnea, which is kind of a main shopping street. You have to go up 30 m height in 350 m, so a good sport activity on the way home. 🤗 The apartement we got was very well distributed and well equipped. The neighbourhood is perfect as well with many restaurants and shops nearby. The staff was extremely nice. In my opinion very good price/value ratio.

Half of our apartement was on the side of the building, where you could here the neighbours, and they were talking and listening to the radio very loudly from 4 to 6 in the morning (I guess leaving for work). So no sleep in this periods in the mornings. I read this in the reviews, but I did not think it is really that loud. I am good sleeper, but I could not sleep. You do not know which apartement you got, so you cannot choose by picture, but as much as I saw, they are all ok.

We were a family of 3 and booked the 2 bed apartment which seemed ideal. Lots of space and 2 beds and 2 bathrooms and a wonderful balcony with magnificent views. Hotel staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful with great dinner recommendations - thank you. On-street parking wasn't expensive (1 euro overnight), but Catania isn't great for cars.

The 2 bed apartment is on the third floor and there are no lifts. If you're got cases or are elderly you may be better in neighbouring rooms.

We spent five days at this hotel in Catania. The location couldn’t have been better – right next to a cozy wine bar, with several great restaurants and bars within 100 meters. The city center is just a 5-minute walk away, making it perfect for exploring. Our room was spacious and comfortable, offering a great place to relax after a day out.

We had the two bedroom and it does require a lot of stairs, but you are rewarded with a private terrace. Plenty of space and A/C in bedrooms and living areas. Very quiet for sleeping but a short walk to all historic sites. It does have slanted ceilings so you need to be careful on perimeter of rooms, especially if tall. Excellent location.

Very pleasant staff who facilitated early access to our apartment. Good location, not far to walk to main points of interest. The apartment was spacious and had all we needed for a short stay (except an electric jug to boil water - a minor omission).

No lift, so inconvenient with luggage (although staff helped with getting luggage up the stairs). Only one power outlet next to bed, so not possible to charge phone and use bedside light at the same time - a slight problem when we had a very early departure and needed to keep phone plugged in. Main problem was the proximity to church bells that rang every 15 minutes throughout the night, causing very disturbed sleep.

This is such a nice place. It is in a very good location, the staff are so helpful, and it is very pretty. We had everything we needed in our rooms and even a bit of a view.

The rooms are deodorised - full of a strong sweet perfume smell that I found overwhelming. It was OK once we opened all windows.

This hotel is amazing! The staff was very nice. Our flight was diverted from Catania to Trapani so they waited for us to arrive until 5AM. The apartment was very spacious, it had everything you might need, it was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Also the small yard inside the hotel is super cozy and quiet. The hotel has a perfect location, it’s five minutes away from everything, and it’s in the city center. I recommend Dimora De Mauro strongly!

The location is perfect. 10 min. Walk to piazze Duomo and in a quiet neighbourhood. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is so kind and helpfull. We stayed here twice in two different rooms on seperate dates. We love this place and the people serving it.

Beds could be a bit softer, but that’s a mind of taste.

The staff Is very kind and friendly. The parking off road is a bit difficult (parallel parking up hill... :) ) , we didn't try the alternative car park offered by Dimora De Mauro. in 5 minutes you will be in the city centre. The flats are very comfortable and clean.

Lovely quiet escape from the busy city centre. Very large and spacious flat with a nice balcony at the back, big bedroom with lots of storage space and equipped kitchen. Very clean too! Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Not a great shower (pressure was good but was in the centre of the cubicle so it was hard to manoever around), quite stupid paper sachets of shower gel which obviously get soaked when you use them in the shower! If you want to be eco friendly and not have a lot of plastic you should fix refillable dispensers to the wall of the shower instead.
