Travelled as a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 child). The hotel is a bit old. Booked a quadruple room that only comes with futon beds which are not comfy. However, the staff are friendly, especially a female waitress called Jean and the meals (breakfast and dinner) were good. Please remember to pre-book dinner in advance! Superb for the cold winter. There is free transport offered by the hotel from Hakuba bus terminal. The hotel is about 4 mins walk to the limori slope and a rental company called Funaru Rental, which is a nice family as well. Overall, it was a very good experience for us and our kid, and we will definitely visit Hakuba again!

The staff were friendly and helpful. We had free lifts to and from the station. The location for the ski slopes was exceptional. The room was clean comfortable and warm. The games room was excellent for travelling with children. The breakfast was good and reasonable.

There is not enough information about the restaurant situation on Booking.com. The hotel DOES have a restaurant BUT it's not the type of restaurant where you can choose from a menu. It's a buffet-style set-price system. It's 4,000 yen per night per person for the dinner. If dinner is not included in the original booking there are no convenient nearby restaurants open in the evening (the ski hill ones are only open in the daytime) so you'd need to drive or taxi to other restaurants. So it's important to know this information prior to booking I think.

I highly recommend this beautiful hotel, friendly & helpful staff who make your holiday a trip to remember. Delicious food, we loved the hotpot & buffet dinners, great choice of traditional Japanese or western buffet breakfast. Fantastic facilities with games room, pool table, table tennis, foosball. Excellent location anytime of the year, just a few steps out the front doors across the road to the chairlifts, lift tickets available at the front desk, ski rental just down the street. Or in the spring your right a natures door step to enjoy the spring time flowers, tree blossoms, mountain streams and fresh air. A short drive away from the main town with all your needs. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Family trip with 8 and 9 y/o first-time skiing kids. Proximity to ski school and the beginner lifts exceptional (all within 5 min walk, even in ski boots). Staff super friendly and helped with booking any travel/ transfers etc. Food was really great - western and traditional options provided. Would absolutely stay again.

The beds aren't immediately the most comfortable but we did get used to Futon style and the kids didn't mind!

Perfect location for skiers (20 meters walk to a chair lift). Very friendly and helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast and dinner was included. The lift makes it easy to get to the ski storage/drying room located in the basement. The room was realy comfy with a powerful ducted heating system.

The hallway near the entrance to the annex building was affected by mildew (smelled really bad). Inside the room it was ok

The room was nicely updated with lots of space, a big bathroom, and heated floors. It's located just across the street from the bunny hill lift, and another couple minutes from the Iimori Lodge at Hakuba Goryu ski resort. Parking was available beside the hotel, though you definitely want a snow-capable vehicle to comfortably access this area.

The room wasn't as clean as we would've liked, with hairs and other dirt present upon arrival.

The location next to Limori ski lift is unbeatable, providing easy access to the slopes. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful, and kind, exceeding my expectations. The hotel offers a stunning view of the ski slope, adding to the charm of the stay. The cozy dry room was perfect for storing gear and enjoying snooker, ping pong, and board games. The rooms were clean and cozy, ensuring a comfortable stay. It's only an 8-minute drive to Juro Onsen, a great convenience. Don't forget to grab the coupons at the reception, which provide discounts for rentals and day passes at Goryu Ski Resort and Hakuba47.

The only drawback is that Goryu town is quieter than Happo town, so calling and reserving a seat for food is recommended.

I travelled solo and was looking for easy access to lifts, somewhere comfortable and maximum time on snow. I absolutely loved my stay at hakuba sun valley annexe, the location at limori was perfect with lift access to hakuba goryu and hakuba 47 metres from the door, the slope out front is perfect for beginners and families with young kids, it has beautiful mountain views, valley bus service is 100m up the road. The room I had was excellent, I turned the heating off when i got there and was comfortably warm without it, i couldn't believe how quiet the room was aswell, definitely not your normal level of hotel room noise, lovely views out each window, the bed was super comfy and the shower was hot quickly and stayed hot, even a heated toilet seat. There is good ski and board storage and drying rooms. The meals are very generous fresh and tasty. Lastly the staff were exceptionally helpful friendly and courteous and made my stay even more enjoyable. 10/10 for me highly recommend

Without a vehicle it can be a lengthy bus ride to distant hakuba valley resorts and if you want choices for dining and night-life it's limited.

This has been the best hotel I’ve stayed in Japan! The staff was very kind and even picked us up from the bus stop in the village. The views from our room were stunning, overlooking the mountains and the ski area. The room was very spacious, and the facilities were convenient. The distance to the town (groceries) is walkable. We will repeat, 100% recommended!!!

Great location, literally ski in ski out, classic Japanese ski hotel. Breakfast and dinner was actually amazing, normally I try these once and find elsewhere but I ate them every day. Great variation. Staff were all very helpful. Public baths were very nice too. Only negative was the pillows are a bit.. Lackluster. Ill buy my own pillow next time.
