Beds set up for 4 adults and two children in one apartment was great. Kept our family together. The heat pumps kept apartment warm. Apartment, as well as outside, was clean. Easy access to the laundry room. The family kitchen was good with coffee and tea facilities available, with a big refrigerator and freezer to keep our drinks cold and food fresh They made available shower gels and hair shampoos; and loved the heater in the bathroom for the early morning cold Blenheim showers. Great friendly conversation with the owners and, best of all, they accomodated us in one apartment and refund the money we paid for the second room. Stayed only 2 nights

The managers worked along side the staff 😊 There was a real team atmosphere. They were friendly and cheerful, too. The property was located within walking distance to a very nice cafe, a supermarket and a pub. I also enjoyed the walk just over a kilometre to the Taylor River path 🏃‍♀️❤️ Plus it looked like they had done some renovations on the bathroom and new carpet in the room, too. 👍

My only complaint might have been access to the pool. Once the kids got in, they were in there for a couple of hours, so I didn’t have much chance to use the pool.

The bed was very comfortable, having the option to sleep upstairs or downstairs was a pleasant surpise. The hosts were both very knowledgeable and friendly. Also having two heat pumps made the stay so much for comfortable. Also having cooking facilities was a bonus.

They had a smart tv with Disney and Netflix apps installed. It was annoying to have to use our own login to use these apps and having to remember to log out before leaving, Also the TV networking was unreliable, We ended up plugging in our laptop and using the tv as a display only. This was only a very minor inconvience as I brought my laptop specifically for this purpose.

The lodge was on the outskirts of town but had many amenities close by. Staff were lovely. It was so convenient to have 2 bathrooms and full kitchen facilities. Beds were super comfy and BIG. Washing and drying facilities were great. The place was spotlessly clean . The outdoor seating and tables were a bonus

The pool was a little disappointing. Rather dark and dingy and unwelcoming. The kitchen cupboards were a bit noisy - if you weren't careful they would make a heck of a noise on closing. A couple of small well positioned pads might help. Not a biggie though

Great location, very friendly owners and good access for all areas of Blenheim. Room was a large family unit, two floors with a bathroom on each and two upstairs bedrooms and a queen sized bed on the ground floor. Full size fridge freezer in the kitchen. Unit was immaculately clean and well maintained. Parking directly outside the unit and easy access with a double door entryway. Fully fenced swimming pool near the unit and a nice BBQ area and access to the stream on the property (fenced), with seats for relaxing.

No issues with anything

Perfect location for us. The units were very roomy and warm for our winter stay. We had a back unit which was super quiet. The beds comfortable with electric blankets. The pool looked like it would be fun in the summer.

The units were fairly basic, a little dated but the lovely owners are renovating. I'd def. stay again.

So friendly and welcoming they left key and text us what unit and explained how to get to our unit Loved that the kids were upstairs with Bathroom and two big size rooms upstairs and a big bed down stairs which we enjoyed and warm and cozy .

Absolutely nothing we were happy with price and was value for money for three children 2 adults

Admirals was close to shops and we had a self contained unit for 4 people, so made use of the bbq. The pool was a bit chilly, but the hot tub made up for that. Great stay, close to all the local wineries.

Previous users left the bbq very messy and had not cleaned it before they left. Not the property's fault.

Got a room on the first floor a little far from the street, so it was relatively quiet. Location is not central, but good to visit the vineyards around. Typical room for this kind. There is a convenience store in the adjacent petrol station. Separate shower in the jacuzzi room.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating when we thought that our ferry would arrive at port late. The cleaning system was easy (we stayed there for a week, so didn't want the cleaners in every day). The space was perfect for us (family of 5).

Nothing to fault. I would just add, perhaps a TV in the upstairs main bedroom. It only became a problem on a sports night.
