The property was conveniently located near town and on the way to the snow. We walked to town (10-15min walk) because the weather was gorgeous, but it may be too far for some to be walking distance. The family room was well set up with plenty of space for our family of 3. It was very clean and comfortable for our weekend stay. The seating outside was nice to dry off gear in the sun and enjoy a beautiful sunny winter day. It was surprisingly well insulated from street noise.

There were a few things that could do with upgrading (some water damage in the corner and the door from the kids bedroom to the bathroom wasn’t working) but it was pretty well updated. The heater in the main room kept the main space very comfortable but the only way to heat the back ‘kids’ room was to leave the door open, which impacted privacy.

Spacious room which was much better than expected upon online booking. Absoloutely loved the walk-in shower cubicle. Also really loved the wood fireplace - great for the cold/cool evenings. Also loved the electronic door entries without having to get keys from reception.

Car spot taken on the second evening meaning parking slightly further away (poor me, only a few metres, actually not so bad except when packing the car the following morning). The fireplace was a bit small to get a good fire going intially let along decent logs for late into the night and no firewood bags available for sale at the motel (the firewood sold at the Woolworths supermarket in town was of poor quality).

We liked everything whether it be the location, facility, services, furniture, appliances, cleanliness etc. The owners were nice too. We requested them to extend our checkout time for 30 minutes and they happily accepted our request to borrow some extra time.

We didn't like just one thing. The window in the bathroom/toilet was broken or something because of which the bathroom was freezing. It was terrible and unbelievable!!! In that freezing weather, why would someone keep the window like that? I don't think you've kept it intentionally like that.

The most dissapointing was the mattress. Was very "bouncy", disturbing any possibility of a peaceful rest for either of us. We did not spend much time during the day there but when it came to night time as with any visitor requiring a rest, the mattress was the biggest let down. More should be invested on a good mattress as for a traveller thats the most important item. The other decor was very good but most of our time was spent there at night

This motel is very comfortable, spacious and clean, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would most certainly return. Although the motel looks dated, the furniture and fixtures are very well-maintained and progressively updated. The room is spacious, with a very comfy bed. The bathroom is very clean with solid hot water supply. The kitchenette is handy for a cosy night in. Some extremely nice (and considerate) aspects include the brightly-lit signage at the entrance, the light-switch on top of the bedhead, the keypad door lock (no more forgetting keys!), extra blanket and a powerful reverse cycle AC (can get very cold at night). Plenty of power sockets in the room. Well located within walking distance to the town centre, it is also near to the Bright Arboretum, which you can cross to the Cherry Walk Trail or do the bigger Canyon Walk loop. The autumn scenery (trees) in the arboretum are so, so pretty.

Wifi signal is quite poor so I mostly used my phone's 4G network. The bathroom can get very cold so it is a good thing that it is small & compact. Bring your own bathroom to quickly rug up.

Just a short walk away from the town centre. Wonderfully spacious bed. The room had a fantastic amount of bench space and places to store belongings during our stay. While we didn’t use the pool or BBQ, it was nice knowing it was available. Beautiful little courtyard out front. The owners were easy to get in touch with to solve any issues.

Small and very fixable issue with a trail of ants in the room, promptly fixed by staff when we mentioned it.

The room size was very good and the cleanliness plus bed comfort excellent, all aspects we found to be very good including a nice outside sitting area on well-maintained lawn / garden area also the pool zone although we did not use at this time looked great.

Not a lot we didn't like, perhaps the car parking bays which some may prefer at the front of rooms are only a short distance away with easy walk to access and not a problem for us and seemingly for other guests whom we met.

Great quiet location, a fifteen minute walk to town or a very quick drive, backing onto a very peaceful walking path through bushland. Seamless checkin and very unobtrusive staff. Parking at the door. Our room was spotless and had a spa bath, a private verandah, a working fireplace, plenty of storage space (handy when travelling with a lot of winter clothes and outdoor gear), and a functional kitchenette with toaster, microwave, kettle and dishes/cutlery. Access to a communal BBQ area for cooking. Fantastic value, one of the best motels we've found anywhere in regional NSW/VIC at this price point.

Couldn't fault anything, the whole trip went well.

Close enough to centre of town to be able to walk. Quiet location with lots of birds and beautiful plants. Having a kitchenette was very convenient. Great shower head. Liked the policy of not having the room serviced during our 3 days stay. Key less entry meant no key or card to carry around.

Toiletries were the squeeze bottle type. Would have preferred the pump bottles and separate shampoo and conditioner. Body cream would have been appreciated as well.

We booked last minute and this was one of the only places available but we absolutely lucked out. I travel for work at least one week a month so believe I have a good measure of good and bad accommodation. Our stay was excellent, seamless (contactless) check-in, great facilities, very clean, very well presented, very comfortable beds and bedding. We were so happy with our quick stay.
