The owner, Chris, was simply amazing. She rang to say she put the heater on in our room so we wouldn't be cold on arrival. Our ETA got extended due to GPS issues. I rang to update her on new ETA. She could tell I was a bit stressed and knew we were travelling with 2 young children. She put extra biscuits in our room which our kids loved. She stayed up to greet us. Such a warm lovely welcoming. It felt like coming home and i hadn't even met her before. I would highly recommend this place. Clean rooms, comfy beds, quiet and warm. Thanks Chris! And we got to see snow too. Great trip. ❄️

That we couldn't stay longer as it was booked out .....

We had no breakfast as it wasn’t ordered

The fact that it is advertised as having a restaurant and it doesn’t have one. That is the reason that we booked this motel and after driving for six hours, had to find somewhere else to dine. We were recommended to try the tavern, which was very nice, but we are 82 years old and it would have been nice to dine on the premises. The bottom line is don’t a advertise a restaurant you don’t have.

Location right in town opposite supermarket, parking at the door, well-equipped room (table and 2 chairs, comfortable 2-seater, comfortable bed, electric blankets, space for suitcases, crockery etc. provided for breakfast, iron, large TV, lots of power outlets, microwave), personable staff. A standout was that used crockery and cutlery is all taken from the room (on checkout) to be put through a dishwasher, ensuring it is properly clean for the next guests - we have not seen that anywhere before. Tourist information provided in the room was also comprehensive (particularly helpful as the Visitor Information Centre in town is not functioning).

The room space was a little tight because of the table and chairs and 2-seater (but we wouldn't trade the furniture for extra space). Our only criticism was that the lighting was very poor above the table and chairs, making it difficult to play board games there at night.

A very comfortable room, with comfortable king bed, good pillow options and very clean. Well fitted out with a couch and table and chairs. A microwave, toaster/ kettle and fridge gave us options to make light meals if we didn’t want to go out but with so many dining options in Tenterfield we didn’t really need this. The staff were excellent and our room was very clean.

Room was spacious and clean. Bed was super comfy.Motel is located just out of main hub but only a short drive to a number of paces to eat. Very quiet and there was no disturbance from passing traffic. Would definite stay here again. Manager was very friendly and had plenty of good advice for good places to go

Why do Morel owners turn off the fridge when they know the room is booked?? Have been caught out twice on this trip.

The room was a wonderful size with step in shower which I prefer. Bathroom size good. The Free Wifi was also reliable. Parking was designated to ensure you had you spot when you returned - this is certainly a plus.

The bed mattress could be updated at least with a topper. It was too firm for a comfortable sleep especially when you have had a busy day of sight seeing.

It had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and cosy and great location to walk to all shops and food places. Great price for what we got, well maintained and very clean.

Only thing I had an issue with was being able to turn the air con down a little colder, as it had a limit, must be an energy saving setting, as can't sleep if it's too hot, the beds are so warm and comfortable, that I can overheat easily. But otherwise that's a small issue on my part more then theirs if anything.

Exceptional motel within walking distance of many of Tenterfield's highlights as well as the Coles and local restaurants. The manager was incredible and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The room was very clean and the beds were super comfy. Would absolutely recommend.

Staff were amazing, so friendly. Both the room as a whole and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Smelled so fresh, super clean and very welcoming. Will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

The only downside is the noise from the road at night and this is completely out of their control.

Furnishings and furniture were almost like new. Bathroom was impeccable. Double glazed windows made for a good night's sleep. Staff were friendly and efficient. Everythi g was clean and fresh and most importantly the bed was comfortable.

For an overnighter there wasn't much to complain about.
