Location was great, clean and tidy and room was very spacious.

There was more than enough room for a better layout of the kitchenette and bathroom areas. A microwave would have been nice to have. The wash basin is shared in the living area with no hand/face washing facilities in the bathroom. The wash bowl was way too high and away from the front edge of table top which made it very difficult to even just brush up or wash your face. Even the light switch over the wash bowl was about 2 meters high! Someone below 1.65m height would really struggle.

The room was clean and modern, and plenty of parking. The family suite included a microwave, cutlery and crockery which was unexpected but welcomed. Shower was hot with great pressure and the beds were comfy. Extra pillows and blankets provided in the wardrobe in the 2nd room.

There was no cloth or dishwashing liquid so I was unable to clean the dishes before we left. Luckily we were only staying one night. The walls are thin so you could hear other guests come and go, especially on the metal staircase directly outside room 11. This wasn't a huge issue. There was no guest information provided upon check-in or in the room, not an issue but just something I expect when checking into accommodation. I would classify this accommodation as a motel rather than a hotel, but I would stay here again without hesitation.

The room was immaculate, the bed was comfortable, I felt safe and secure. Excellent access to the beach. Staff at the front desk were friendly and polite.

I was in room 1, which is near the stairs and I would not book that room again due to the continual noise from people ascending and descending the stairs to get to the Thai restaurant that is upstairs. The traffic is not the fault of the owners in anyway, however there was a lot of loud cars and “hooning” happening around the roundabout that is close by. I could easily hear the neighbours upstairs, and the shower running after midnight was very loud. Possibly not the best selection of motel if you are noise sensitive.

I recently stayed at Quays Hotel in Batemans Bay and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is simple yet well-maintained, offering clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making check-in and the overall stay smooth. The location is decent—while not right in the heart of town, it’s close enough to the water and main attractions. It’s a good option for a quiet, relaxing stay. Overall, Quays Hotel is a solid choice if you’re looking for a clean, no-fuss accommodation in Batemans Bay.

The stairs at Quays Hotel were a bit of a concern. They felt slippery and somewhat unsafe, especially in wet conditions. Better grip or improved design could make them safer for guests.

Has everything you need for a comfortable stay for the night! We were just on our way up the coast from Southern Vic and was a very pleasant experience here. Loved the espresso coffee provided and decent amount of milk to use for a couple of coffees in the morning. The guy at the front desk was lovely and seemed cheerful! The shower was unreal and they provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash in convenient tubs in the shower. The room came with a TV which was great for a relax after a long drive. Not far from the shops down the street either or the golf club for a nice meal. Right by the harbour which was nice for a run in the morning.

Close to the waterfront and quiet. Plus the onsite Thai restaurant was a hit too. Needless to say we had dinner there on our first night. Thank you Rod for the tip!!!👍🏻

If there could be less “hot”quilts, that would be great. Short of using the AC unity in summer cool mode to cool us down, we found the quilt to be extremely hot and it didn’t breathe that well had to change it for a thinner quilt. It is fortunate we were able to open the bathroom and front windows slightly to have a through breeze to keep us cool.

The location is very close to the beach and shopping centre.

Coffee pod machine had a leak, possibly rubber seal needing replacing, told the manager when leaving. I left no water in the cylinder on the second night to stop water running everywhere on the benchtop. The three houses up the street where also fenced off and run-down in the process to be demolished, street looked depressing, but they should be gone next visit. The upstairs area used to have a bar but is empty, might be open with a new owner next time too which would be nice.

It was wonderful to arrive at the motel and be greeted by a charming , smiling lady who I asume was the owner. She told us where the room was ; on opening the door we saw a very large roomwhich was spotlessly clean and inviting. The king size bed was great and there was asingle bed as well. The bathroom was superb;very modern and well presented. The hand basin was outside the room making it possible for one person to be in the shower/toilet and the other to be shaving. Heating was great and the TV well set up. The motel was close to the town centre and across the road from the river.

Could not find and issues with the motel.

Lovely welcome at front desk. Security code for entry. A large room with good furnishings. Large, comfortable bed. Water in the fridge, biscuits with coffee, pod coffee machine. Good on-site Thai restaurant. Lots of parking.

Only minor things really. Fan in bathroom (room 2) not working. Some dusting needed on window sills/rims. Wooden blinds unfortunately do not block out security lighting outside. Would love a microwave & freezer too.

Looks like a motel from outside but is a hotel from inside. Super clean and comfortable beds, walls and furniture in clean condition. Maintenance is good so everything looks new. Had good amount of coffee and tea packs, and a mini bar with wine, juices and chocolates. Location is bang on. Just 1 km from main market so it's peaceful around and the water is across the road so a good stroll is always possible. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We would always return here without thinking about any other place.

The room did not have a microwave so I couldn't heat my coffee after adding cold milk.
