Great location and loads of space inside ...staff were great, really attentive and helpful ... food was very good - enough choice to keep me going for four nights and still had plenty I wouldn't have minded trying ... quality and quantities were good and inclusive breakfast [ with the room ] great value - again very accomodating - although not on the menu they would cook simply scrambled or poached eggs on toast . Room was really spacious with comfortable bed, sofa and desk and good shower pressure

It didn't affect my stay but I'm guessing the venue is due for a refurb in the not too distant future as some surfaces showing signs of age - perfectly clean and serviceable however. The car park is across the road which can be quite busy in the morning to just take your time.

A perfect location for our trip to Oxford, just a short drive to the Oxford park and ride. We started our stay with a very nice lunch before checking in. We had a few initial problems which were sorted quickly. Our room was of a good size but unfortunately not a view but at least it was quiet. We cannot fault the service. Everyone was so helpful and nothing was too much problem. Andrew the breakfast host was amazingly helpful , polite and friendly . Our breakfasts were well cooked and plenty was on offer. Everything we have eaten during our stay was very tasty. There's a lawn and patio seating areas outside with a small children's play area.

Everything could do with some t.l.c. For us , our mattress was too hard. We'd asked for our room to be serviced but it wasn't done, but the receptionist offered her assistance and helped rectify the problem.

Quiet location, plenty of parking. Good choice of food in the restaurant, breakfast excellent. Good service, staff very friendly. Full marks to Steve and all the team.

Initially we were given room 9. A large room, excellent shower, but the bed was awful. A small double sleigh type bed! Not big enough for two people to sleep comfortably. I ended up sleeping on the sofa! Asked for a room change the next morning, the girl on reception agreed there was a problem with the bed and found us another room. Much better

Stay here 2 -3 times a year lovely staff ideal location and value for money also value for money on food

Only minor issue was music was to loud in bar area for size of bar area should be in background only (this is a personal thing as I feel you should be able to talk without listening to music and I could have asked staff to turn it down slightly but other guests and visitors didn't take any notice of the music as I said just a personal thing

Bed was very comfy, the pillows were absolutely incredible I 100% need one of those pillows. Room was tended to daily and staff were super friendly. Food was good in the restaurant also.

The WiFi sucks, I had non-stop issues every night. After the first night, the extraction fan in the bathroom started making a horrific racket so I had to turn it off and after the 2nd night the radiator also started making an odd sound which was off-putting for the remainder of my stay. There is unfortunately a truly abysmal amount of phone signal (at least on the Three network) and it completely cuts out in the restaurant.

My room was at the back of the hotel, and was very quiet. Room was a good size, with super views over the fields. Breakfast and evening meal - superb, and evening meal reasonably priced.

Could have done with an extra chair in the bedroom so that I could sit at the dressing table/desk. Dining room often still being cleaned at start of breakfast. Car park over a fast and busy road, especially at morning rush hour.

Our room was clean and well equipped and quietly situated at the back of the property. There was ample parking. Breakfasts were wonderful with an a la carte choice of hot food and a buffet of other options. The coffee, in an urn was, I think, instant and did not match the quality of the food. We had dinner there one evening and the food was exceptionally good. I would highly recommend the restaurant.

Apart from the breakfast coffee, absolutely nothing.

The breakfast staff member was super friendly. The choice on the menu at breakfast and dinner was great. The room was clean and it was good to have tea and coffee and nice soaps. The restaurant has a really nice menu.

The view from the window is straight on to a close by roof. The room isn’t well soundproofed and I could hear everything outside it. There is very little mobile phone signal. The staff were very friendly but not used to working on the hotel reception side and couldn’t get the booking system to work smoothly.

the staff were excellent from the start when we joined them for lunch. They sorted an accessible room for my elderly father with short notice. Breakfast was excellent and again nothing was a problem. lovely room with coffee, tea and biscuits. We also like the convenience of having food and a bar facility as we were staying for a wedding nearby.

The hotel clearly takes into account the environment, however, the painfully thin toilet paper was for me one step too far.

The WiFi connected to my 2 phones no problem but didn't actually work (ie, the phones showed they were connected to the router with a strong signal, but it would seem the router wasn't then actually connected to the internet...). To add to this, the Vodafone coverage there is practically none existent so poor communications.
