We had a wonderful time over the long weekend at Ferntree Cottage. The location is conveniently close to the Emerald town centre and it is nice and quiet despite the proximity to the road. The cottage itself was very clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and had such a homely feel. In between our travels to explore the nearby towns and parks, we loved relaxing in the spa bath, sitting in front of the "fire" reading or watching a movie, and having a meals al fresco on the patio. Naomi was very lovely and welcoming and even had some home-made baked goodies which were a lovely touch. We are looking forward to staying here again.

Easy to find. Keys were where promised. The cottage was stunning and the added touches (milk, juice, butter, loaf bread, spreads incl Vegemite, Banana bread, variety of teas and of coffees) were soooo appreciated. Huge spa bath (no time to enjoy) as well as a separate shower/bathroom. Really comfy bed and a big wardrobe for hanging clothes as well as chest of drawers for folding clothes Two desks to choose from, both with Cafe table and chairs one also had a lounger to relax on. Quiet bushland setting.

Ferntree cottage was clean and very comfortable! The shower was a bit tricky to get in and out of, even for me, but the bathroom was huge and spotless. The bed was extremely comfy as were the pillows ! The views from the cottage were very pretty and it was the perfect location for our nights stay before the Puffing Billy Fun Run. The banana bread and chocolates were the perfect touch. We felt very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed out stay and would highly recommend to others 🌟

There were so many little touches that made it special. It was lovely that breakfast was provided, the granola and banana bread were delicious. The bed was super comfortable, I slept fabulously. The cottage was in a beautiful setting, with birds all around, and it was a short trip to other great places like the botanical gardens.

Clear communication from Naomi about check in. Great two man spa bath. Port, brekkie supplies and easter eggs (everywhere) made us feel very welocome. Nearby walks and a good feed at the Railway Dog local pub. Back porch great for breakfast or smoking. Trivial Pursuit and a jigsaw puzzle came in handy.

Quiet and tranquil surroundings with a view of the forest and sounds of the birds. The Forest View Cottage is extremely clean and comfortable. The property is close to the Mount Dandenong Ranges and the Botanic Gardens, ideal for hiking, bird watching, nature walks, forest bathing and relaxation. A perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle and stress of our busy lives!

The property was just perfect, the windows and deck overlooking a beautiful back yard! The wildlife and stars you are able to enjoy. The cabin itself was the perfect size, very comfortable and warm, the little heater works a treat. Everything was clean and in place, and upon our second night we’d noticed Naomi had come in to clean quickly, replenish towels and put the heater on all before we’d returned from a day out! Just perfect, we couldn’t have had a better time! Also very close to lakeside for the puffing billy! I’d recommend this to anybody looking to get away and explore the beautiful east!

We were visited only once by the big beautiful dog! Could’ve squeezed in another for us 😉

The location is very peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was very well appointed with everything you need and a lovely welcome basket of bread, fruit, biscuits and juice. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage itself was very nice, great size for a short stay for 2 people. Very, very quiet location. Excellent heating and cooling facilities. Everything provided in the kitchen if you wanted to cook for yourselves. Excellent mattress for a sound sleep.

The crossover to and from the driveway could be smoother, especially for a sedan or hatchback. The wifi strength needs to improve. Breakfast rations needs to last for the number of mornings equal to the number of people staying at the cottage. Ours was suitable for 1 breakfast. We stayed for 2, but did bring our own to be safe.

Location was convenient for access to nearby Yarra Ranges Estate for a wedding. Bed was lovely.

Stayed 2 nights but had to buy more milk and breakfast provision was really only for one morning's breakfast. Having the shower in the spa bath was awkward and risky to climb into and out of.
