Rooms were well maintained and comfortable. My wife and I spent an entire month there due to a plumbing issue at our main residence, so we are local to the area. The facilities were perfect for our needs, to include the pool (which I already miss), gym, and dining area. The staff was top notch as well, and we ended up chatting with them quite often. This was truly a wonderful place to make a "home away from home" for that entire period of time.

The only criticism I would note is that there appears to be a bit of an insect issue in the evenings by the grill area. It was never substantial, but likely should be addressed in the nearer term. It did not impact our stay at all.

The staff, Emily, and the general manager, Wanda, were a blessing. Our car broke down on Sunday, our care bork down 20 minutes awar from the hotel so we had to go back and get another overnight stay with a late check. They were very understanding. We were still waiting until 6m for the car to be ready. Wanda and her staff were so lovely they offered us dinner, and they were so nice. This is our second year coming here, to go too Watermind Family Swim Club. Our entire family stayed for our family vacation. We all will be coming back next year. I think they need a playground for kids. The Hyatt House Herndon is my favorite place. I felt safe and secure so did my family. I enjoy Saturday night activities.

I had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt House! The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met promptly. I loved the complimentary breakfast, which offered a variety of delicious options to start the day right. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. Overall, my experience was outstanding, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

The room was excellent at a great rate. Great kitchen with large refrigerator, dishwasher, and utensils. The room also had a larger than normal TV. All though, I did not use the fitness center or pool they looked excellent. Finally, the complimentary breakfast was great with waffles, pancakes, eggs, potatoes, bacon and more.

Good location and staff are lovely. the apartment was very clean and staff were willing to help with anything needed. Laundry room very handy.

Breakfast is OK. Not a lot of gluten free options, and listing water, butter and milk as gluten free isn't a solution. Also the place is clean but in need of a little TLC.

The room was fairly large, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. The location was very good and convenient. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming.

The walk-in shower drain was ineffective in that the basin wasn't tipped toward the drain and you ended up standing in an inch or two of dirty, soapy water, leaving you with feet feeling dirty and unclean. This is a design or installation problem and, as I see it, can only be fixed by ripping out the shower basin and installing a new one correctly.

Although there was road construction, the property has the perfect location. Needed “go-to’s” like grocery stores and restaurants are in walking distance. The property was well kept and very clean. Also, they have an exceptional staff: Wanda, Emily and Hoye were wonderful.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. And my concerns were met with more than considerate compensation. Also, our room was amazing!

The cleanliness of the bathroom...more specifically, the shower. However, the manager listened intently to what I had to say and came to see for himself what I was talking about to better be able to relay to his cleaning staff. He also compensated by moving us to a different room that was actually larger than the one we were in.

Our stay was so nice, we got there late and the kitchen was closed and the guy running the bar mad my family big double burgers and fries just for us.. definitely made me thankful for great staff.. I highly recommend it they are super nice.. I drove from wv and glad i picked the Hyatt house. I just hate the deposits hotels ask for now.

Spacious and well-equipped rooms, great amenities, friendly and helpful staff, ample parking, and very good breakfast. Huge bonus: they allow cats! Highly recommend this hotel to whomever needs to stay close to IAD with their pets

It would be even better if they offered an airport shuttle. But there are plenty of alternatives being so close to IAD
