Hotel shuttle from Dulles airport was problematic. I flew in from the Amazon, it was cold and snowy and in the 20's, at night, and I missed the shuttle twice. Had to stand in cold for 45 minutes before being picked up. I was very tired and not operating at my best, but the van was impossible to see. Its black, the insignia on side very hard to read, was covered with salt and dirt, there is no illuminated signage over windshield (unlike almost every other competitors van), lighting at terminal is in waiting passengers eyes, not illuminating the van. Driver drove fast, did not look around (ignored my raised waving hand one time when I was not in perfect right place to be picked up. Anyways, negative points for that experience).

The facility was very nice and clean, and the location was convenient since we were using shuttles to and from the airport. The food in the restaurant was very good and the staff there was exceptionally friendly. The outside pool area was very relaxing, and I was surprised to see they had a lifeguard there. The front desk staff at check out in the morning were very kind, and the shuttle service was exceptional.

The front desk staff at check-in made me feel like we shouldn't be there. After showing them my reservation confirmation email, they did take the extra time to find our reservation in the system. The staff was whispering to each other as if there was something in our reservation that was "less than." I was not sure it was worth the extra expense. Luckily, after we checked in, the restaurant staff treated us very kindly and turned our experience around.

Designed primarily for those in transit at Dulles airport, with regular bus service to the terminal. A well-run food service restaurant in the lobby and a helpful staff.

Getting to the rooms was a bit difficult (not too well marked). The hotel shop was pretty limited, given the volume of guests in the hotel. There should be more spaces for clients to relax beyond the lobby.

I thought hotel was very nice, clean and in good location. I will even say the staff was efficient, kind and helpful and boy did I get tricked. I booked an economical room n used a discount site so when the receptionist said she was upgrading my room..I felt elated till I got my room. Clean room..yes, better view...Oh no, I saw the dirt on a other wall...and the receptionist said I would a nicer view along with more space...NEVER Happen but I fell for it...

I didn't like that receptionist out n out lied about view n comfort. Her voice was so sweet, she was so generous n kind...I hated that I believe her.

Beautiful courtyard, clean room. Wish restaurant (apparently, just its lobby) was more like “a restaurant” though, wait people were very nice and friendly.

All were great except the shuttle driver. Maybe just his cultural background, but sounded sort of rude. It was hard to understand what he meant at arrival of airport, I had 88 yr old mom, who has difficulty walking. This driver wasn’t kind explaining where we were (check in counter/dropping off luggage etc.,). Also when I went back to hotel he was sort of yelling at me “which hotels?! There are two Marriotts!!”

Enjoyed our stay here. Conveniently located to Dulles Airport. Plus, you can park your vehicle there at a very reasonable cost if you are heading out of town for awhile. Hotel is safe, comfortable and clean. Restaurant and bar were very good.

A bit unusual on how to get to your room. The hotel is so big, getting to your room can be difficult.

Very close to airport, a frequent free shuttle though not inside the airport, which is different from what I thought. They were very accommodating when asked for two more people. I had booked a great rate for one person but all got the free breakfast which is ordered in the restaurant and fantastic. It's odd that tip is not included even if one stays below the minimum. So the free breakfast wasn't quite free. The fitness center has not much

Every 15 minute shuttle was helpful.

The cost of the snack foods in the market were prohibitively expensive. One tiny snack bag of Smartfood $2.50. One small bottle of wine (looked like 1 1/2 glasses) was $22! That is just too much. The cost of breakfast was also too high. $19 is overpriced.

The warmth from this welcoming receptionist was incredibly nice! She was the most brilliant person behind that counter, in a sense, very informative, calm, listening and reassuring, regarding my few wonders for my next day's departure: I loved it, also thanks to her fabulous skills, her very friendly and great professionalism.

I had no deception at all, as it went perfectly. If I went back there someday, I would love to have the same experience!

Dulles Airport Marriott very close to airport for very early depature. Early van transported us to terminal for early flight out. Very convenient.
