I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was even offered a complimentary upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, the linens felt luxurious, and the view from my window was absolutely stunning. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, always leaving the room fresh and tidy. The hotel amenities were also top-notch — the fitness center was well-equipped, the spa was serene and relaxing, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals with great variety. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight, with a wide range of fresh options to suit every taste. Location-wise, the hotel couldn’t be better situated. It was close to everything I needed — shops, restaurants, and key attractions — but still felt quiet and peaceful at night. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.

I loved the location. It is within walking distance of everything a traveler might need. I also love that they are pet friendly, yet the rooms had no trace of pets. Lastly, the property is beautiful with the rooms looking like actual luxury apartments. They were extremely clean, quiet, and spacious.

The only thing I didn't like was the pull out bed built into the couch. It was overly uncomfortable. It had many lumps and bumps and I could feel every spring. I would only recommend for a child to sleep on. Also the pull out bed didn't have a cover on the mattress which I thought was a bit unsanitary. The mattress itself appeared clean though.

Amazing location. Beautiful property with lots of amenities. Hannah is amazing and super accommodating to guests needs. The entire staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, with the perfect hours of operation. They even served some non-pork items during my stay. Plenty of parking available, and felt very safe and comfortable there. Walking distance to restaurants and shops was a nice surprise.

The only thing I didn’t like was the smell of marijuana every where. It’s a non-smoking hotel, but the smell of marijuana wreaked through the hallways and greeted you when opening the doors to buildings A & B, and room doors to the hallways. The smoking area seemed to be right in front of the doors so perhaps that was the culprit to the smoke smell dispersion throughout the hallways and stairwells. Even the few cigarette smokers outside, the stench of their cigarette breaks would follow them from the smoke areas, through the corridors and into their guest rooms.Luckily once in your own room, the outside scents were undetectable.

This was our second stay at a Sonesta hotel and it impressed better than the first. We have dediced it is either a Sonesta or an airbnb from here on out. With our 3 kids, we all just need to space to decompress while on vacay. It was clean and comfy! There was even a fireplace!

Not much! We had the accessible suite and the stopper for bathroom door was missing so the door didnt always stay shut but we propped it. The pricing for one night was pricy but we expected it for late notice and the location/state.

The location is very convenient; it is right next to several restaurants and was also close to the Eagle Bank arena, which is why I was there. The rooms are very large, clean, and comfortable. The property is well-kept and is quiet. I would stay here again if I were to return to Fairfax.

My bed was very firm for my liking so I didn't get the best night's sleep. The water pressure wasn't spectacular in my room, but I made it work. Lastly, I would have like there to be a few more gluten free options at breakfast.

The location was descent and close to a large outdoor mall. Rooms were clean.

Elevator doors smudged prints not shiny Although front desk is generous with ice. I wish an ice machine can be available in more locations Filtered water dispenser in more central location in addition to, the workout room. I don’t feel ice dispensing in room refrigerator is very sanitary. No liquid dish soap. The dispensers in the shower were not working effectively and I told front desk. There were no luggage transports in the lobby for my whole stay. Very unusual. I was told it was stored by a client in the room- very bizarre and not available for use on 7.13-7.14.24.

The hotel is always beautiful and clean. Easy access to the rooms with all safety measures set. The fact that there is a kitchenette in the rooms saves on having to go out to eat and spend extra money. This will be my go-to place whenever I'm in the area. Sonesta definitely lives up to their name and reputation.

If they could have later check out times without charging a lot of money, that would be awesome. The place is so nice that my boyfriend and I never want to leave by 11 am. If we could check out between 12 and 1 pm without there being a major financial loss, that would be awesome.

Everything was perfect. The size of the suite was exactly what we needed for our family of 5. I liked having the 2 separate rooms. The bathrooms were big. Everything was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was the cherry on top. Breakfast was great and the staff were on top of replenishing items and cleaning up, The check-in and check-out staff were efficient and friendly. The outside is maintained well, there's a grill you can use and lots of seating outside. I'd def come back the next time we visit DC!

Everything was above my expectations.

The staff were wonderful and the value for what we got was excellent. The front desk was friendly and anxious to help with any need. Our room was spacious for my husband and I, and while we didn’t need the kitchen area, it was a great option. While I saw other reviewers unhappy about the breakfast, we were completely perplexed as to why! We thought it was perfect! Eggs (both scrambled and hard-boiled), meat and potatoes along with pancakes, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit and more. The breakfast employees were vigilant and ready to re-stock anything or help. Overall, it was a great stay. And we would definitely stay again without hesitation.

Other reviewers were right, very good hotel, clean and modern suites, friendly staff, quiet, will definitely stay here again. Breakfast was fine, standard motel fair, muffins, pancake machine, eggs and bacon, not much fruit though.

Bed was a bit firm for my tastes but nothing major. Toliet had a small leak so would cycle intermittently, just closed the door and reported in the morning.
