Clean, quiet and right in the middle of the community. It felt homely withstaff who were pleasant and friendly, helpful and informative. I've stayed in a few hotels in Johor Bharu, but this was by far the best and very good value for money. The neighbourhood comes alive in the evening with lots of places to eat, lots of local food, (mostly Indian,) and people of all ages in the streets, I felt at home there and local people made me feel welcome.

There was nothing that I could say I didn't like because I was enjoying everything I did like!

Gd location and close to 24hrs Indian restaurant. The mosque was within walking distance. The hotel is very clean in and out.

1. i was dissapointed when I was told that my room booking was not yet paid via Booking.com. I have given detail of my Debit Mastercard earlier. To over the problem, I have to pay cash RM318.10 to the Duty Receptionist at that nite. Hopefully, Booking.com.will look into it and please refund the full amount hold earlier by Bookinh.com 2. The internet was legging since we need many things to sort out using the internet. The receptionist is not friendly until we talk to them.

Very big bathroom. Very strategic location. A lot of stores & restaurant around the area. Kipmall 1minit away (walking) & less than 10min (by car) to paradigm mall.

1. The room didnt provide reusable cup. They just provide paper cup. 3 paper cup for 3 of us & it is for 3 day 2 night stay. 2. The towel had stained with faint black color (i assume it is wash together with color cloth) but i think its clean cause it smell like freshly wash. 3. The emergency light i assume. Cannot be turn off. I Have to sleep with the lights on for 2 nights. (the light is actually not too bright but i still prefer tu turn all the light off)

Not too far a drive from the main JB area. Our second time booking this place as we liked one of the food options just nearby the hotel. Room was clean and tidy with the basic amenities, and a large open shelf to place our belongings. Located near a big supermarket just 5 minutes walk away, and a small convenience store just across the street. Appreciated the hospitality as we were quickly checked in almost close to midnight, and the late check out time of 12pm.

Air-conditioning suddenly switched off during the night and took a few minutes to resolve with some pressing of the buttons.

The staff is very helpful and friendly, the bedroom is great, just enough for solo traveller, it’s nearby to a neighborhood mall for food during the day, and grab food can is reachable during the night. Quite near to Larkin Sentral and easy to commute with Grab. Housekeeping service is splendid, I’m happy to go back to a clean and comfy room. The lift is working well for guest with huge luggage like me!

The water hose is leaking, but luckily it’s manageable as they stopped if you turn the tap off. The keycard system is unable to set to use for 3 days of my stay, so i had to renew after 2 days. I suggest to inform the guest about the RM50 deposit prior to their arrival, lucky that i have enough cash with me. Iron is only available at request, with 30 minutes time limit which is quite a hassle for me, but not really a big deal. Just room of improvement, they can provide list of numbers such as receptionist etc in the room for customer to contact.

Value for money. Great for short stay. Strategically located.

Staff need to be more warm and friendly. When I checked it at night, they require RM50 deposit (CASH ONLY), which i did not have at the time. They insisted I walk to the nearest ATM about 2 mins away, alone at night after a long travel! Lucky the manager was there and considerate enough for me to pay the next day. Breakfast needs improvement.

The hotel’s location is perfect if you plan to explore both Johor Bahru and nearby attractions like the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari, both around 14 miles away. We loved how peaceful the hotel was at night, despite being close to key attractions and eateries.

This is not my first time there and I will most likely return to this property in the future. Room was big enough. Location near good food but you'll need a car / e-hailing if you want to get to the city / malls / attraction. The area is convenient if you want to drive to Singapore via Tuas.

We were at the top floor, so water pressure was ok most of the time, but sometimes a bit low. Probably should stay on a lower floor.

Had a pleasant experience this time round (my second stay here). There is a new guy as the receptionist and he is very friendly and helpful. I opt for a double-room this time (previously single-room) and its really comfortable and value for money.

There was a shouting/crying incident that went on for about 30mins (from guest) but it wasn't the hotel's fault.

Bathroom was spacious enough. Had enough storage racks and room size was ok for the three of us. Everything else in the room was functional.

I wish the hotel had a water dispenser. They could give more shampoo or body soap for a family room. Check in process was a bit slow. (I made two bookings, one for a single room and one for a family room). But I am still rating the hotel a 10 because these things are minor.
