I had to have surgery on May 2nd and while I live within 50 miles of La Crosse, I wanted to be near my medical provider since I was put under anesthesia, I wanted to be within ten minutes of a medical facility in case of an issue. My daughter stayed with me, helping with drops and as a nursing assistant, she knew what to watch for. We requested a first floor room and the desk clerk apologized for not having one available, but 3rd floor with an elevator was very nice! I slept well, enjoyed the room and everyone was wonderful! I did stay at another hotel that was not a smooth visit and will be telling anyone who asks where to stay in La Crosse, which will be this hotel. Price is not a factor when you are requiring day surgery, you want a stress-free visit...I will be having another surgery in two to three months and I plan on Microtel Inn.

The room was clean, nice cold A/C, everything worked, no clogged drains, excellent water pressure, supplied enough towels, washcloths, etc…they have some of the comfiest beds that I have slept on. I would compare the bed to a 5 star resorts bed.

No warm breakfast. I seen a pic advertising eggs and bacon. There was not any warm food unless you wanted to warm up refrigerated pancakes in the microwave. Otherwise they had cereal, muffins, yogurt, juice and maybe a couple fruits.

Variety of breakfast offered was limited but good. Ran out of juice too quickly.

Wish they would have offered scrambled eggs and sausage or biscuits and gravy. their tv and internet were sporadic at best. They need to offer a better cable service and stronger internet service.

The breakfast was good. The space available to eat was roomy.

I was disappointed that we didn't receive a veteran's discount. We were told that it was online where we registered. I didn't see it and had hoped that the clerk could have added the discount afterward, but she told us she couldn't.

I liked the size of the room. I also liked the window nook. The location of the TV was great for viewing it while chilling in bed.

I did not like that the one whole wall was a mirror. It made the room feel less cozy. It felt like a bit of an invasion of our privacy.

Close to restaurants and shopping. Room was super clean and beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly. Room had a fridge and microwave. Free breakfast!

Not all the lights worked.

Facilities were great, staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great.

Couldn't get the temperature comfortable, but just had it set to fan on to stay comfortable. The shower worked, but the tub was running the whole time. All minor, overall satisfied.

Did not do breakfast, it looked fine. Location great, room comfortable.. Quiet we were on first floor which we had requested, perfect. Liked the fact it was dog friendly, though we didn’t have our dog with us. Easy to get to and many eating places close by.

Sign where you turn in to entrance of Microtel Inn. Lamp on each side of bed are nice as we read in evening and if one goes to sleep Early the big light is on across bed .Too much light above bed.

it was an efficient property which worked well for us as a couple. it was just fine for a one night stay.

Google maps does not give accurate directions. We rated their directions poorly. We got to the facility by using directions on your site. The entrance doors did not have a handicap accessible way to open the doors. how is that legal?

Breakfast was good. Somethings need fixed but we will return.

The light fixture in the bathroom was just hanging of the ceiling(picture shown). was scared it was going to fall and hit one of my family's head. Called front desk but no one answered. The black mark in bathroom needs to be fixed(picture shown) hurts feet in shower. The queen bed was so hard, didnt get much sleep.
