The staff was consistently helpful and friendly throughout our visit. We particularly enjoyed the indoor pool; its central location in the hotel made it very easy to access. Our first-floor room was perfect – having a direct outside door right where we could park made unloading and loading the car incredibly convenient. The room itself was spacious enough for our family of four and was very clean. We were very impressed with the breakfast; the hours were great, and the options were fantastic and delicious. The breakfast room is also very large, providing ample space for all guests, even during busy times. A big plus for us was the water bottle filling station, which was incredibly useful for our hiking excursions in Mesa Verde!

There were only a couple of minor things that weren't ideal. The bathroom door in our room didn't fully close, and due to the outside door, we did encounter a few bugs in the room (though this wasn't a major issue for us). Additionally, because the pool is centrally located, the smell of chlorine was noticeable throughout the hotel, and you could hear children playing in the pool during operating hours.

We had stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and loved it. The previous time (Oct. 2022), we stayed four nights and visited Monument Valley Navajo Park, Mesa Verde National Park, Canyonlands, Arches National Park and many other wonderful attractions. We even went to Telluride, in Colorado, from there. This hotel is in a perfect location for this kind of travel. Then, and more recently, the room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The breakfast was also great. The indoor swimming pool is in a great courtyard (although we didn't use it, everyone was having a great time there). The staff was very friendly and attentive. We will stay at this hotel again whenever we are in Cortez, CO. Cortez is a small town and people are super friendly!

Enjoyed the room was spacious, quiet even though the hotel itself was really loud because of the pool being in the middle of the hotel. very clean and had a huge Jacuzzi tub that never ran out of hot water.! Had motorcycle parking we could see from our room. Breakfast was good, and had a walk out we could open to let in fresh air to the room.

the building smelled like chlorine from the pool and there was always water in the halls and elevator from the pool guests that didn't dry off. The motorcycle was soaking wet in the morning because the sprinklers sprayed right onto them. Towels were in a basket I'm assuming for this reason but they were soaked as well. Even though the staff was nice enough to let us use dry towels the seats couldn't be dried fully and we had wet rears all day.

We had to bring out our own clothes, cause the washer did not ring out our clothes at all. We also had to use extra money to make sure our clothes was dry. Also, the receptionist made us wait about five minutes to check in while she was on the phone. I don’t know if it was a personal call or if it was related to a room, but I don’t think so. Her name is Matt or Mac. She also told me she couldn’t give a refund for the washer that didn’t ring out our clothes, right.

We really enjoyed it. It was actually not the hotel that we were seeking to stay at. But we got a reasonable price and figured it was just for one night. We really enjoyed it. They gave us a room with a view of the distant mountains when we requested it. My son enjoyed swimming in the pool (and riding the elevator up to our room. We liked having the outdoor hallway (suprisingly) where we could park and see our car. The room was comfortable, clean, and had a lot of light from the outside. We couldn't hear anyone else in the hotel from our room. The staff was kind. The big breakfast room was awesome and it was our favorite breakfast of our entire trip! We want to go back when we go to Mesa Verde again.

Honestly, we just plain liked it. No complaints at all.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Design of the building was unique. Many breakfast choices. Indoor pool and jacuzzi pool room had a nice real plant decor. Our double room was large and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The kids liked the cookies at the entry. The price was very reasonable for what we were looking for.

The building needs updating, but with that said, the efforts by the staff to make the hotel stay comfortable was exceptional.

Breakfast was great, staff was excellent, the rooms were very clean, parking provided easy access to the rooms, checking/out was very easy.

The only complaint I have is related to the bathroom. The toilet and sink were too low to the floor and difficult for an older person to use, there were no handrails to help one get off the toilet or in and out of the tub. Also the large bottles of complimentary bath wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion were missing even though the holders were mounted in the tub walls. The smaller versions at the sink were pitiful!

The room was clean, spacious and well-equipped. The pool and hot tub were also clean and easily accessible. Lovely location, plenty of parking, very welcoming.

Breakfast finished at 9, but check-out wasn't until 11am. A 10am finish for breakfast would have been nice - we'd had a long, hard drive, and were v tired. Didn't help that housekeeping knocked on door at 9.30 am - but we put do not disturb sign out next night and was fine.

I didn't like that we did not have water for a while then we had cold only and couldn't take a shower til midnight. when we went to the desk to report about the water they said oh yay we forgot to tell you. Well if they would of told us we would of gone some ware else. We traveled all day and couldn't take a shower. We have stayed with you several time and never had a problem

Breakfast was great. Our room was clean and nice. Loved the location and it was easy to find. The bed was very comfortable.

Where the carpet met the tile for the kitchen the carpet tack strip was sticking up. My husband stepped on it a couple times before we covered it up with a towel to remember not to step there. The hot tub didn’t seem to have enough water so when the jets turned on it sprayed water up really high and would soak your hair which I did not want to do. It was also kinda dirty which was surprising because everything else seemed to be well kept.
