Loved everything. Room was clean and bed was amazingly comfy. Room was a good temperature View was amazing Location, location, location! And the carpark was exceptionally secure big 10/10

The breakfast was chaos. Paying £19.50 for eggs on toast is a bit too much. Not much in the way for those who are gluten free. Saw a man use the same utensil for bacon as for the scrambled eggs, not great if you're a vegetarian. In the end everyone was waiting for the items to be topped up, if you weren't quick then you'd miss out. A lot of money for what was offered.

We stayed for two separate overnights on the way to and from Alpe d'Huez. The hotel was clean and well-maintained and convenient for the station, although it was not obvious where the entrance to the hotel is (the entrance is the same as for the exhibition centre in the same building). The staff we met were all pleasant and helpful.

On our first stay, the sofabed in room 703 was not unfolded and we didn't know how to unfold it. Arriving at 11.30 at night, we really didn't want to have to get someone to do this for us. It should have been ready as we notified them we needed separate beds. Also the sofa bed in this room had a strange smell which was like urine, although to be fair the mattress appeared to be clean, but I couldn't sleep because of the pong. I told them about it next morning, and emailed prior to our stay the following week to say we wanted the sofa bed unfolded and made up, and NOT in room 703. All was well on the return trip, room nice a clean and no smell from the sofa bed.

Receptionist was quick and friendly. Location was right next to the train station with Tram A and B within close proximity. Beds were super comfortable. And the water pressure for the shower was great - basic shampoo and soap is provided. There was also a boiler in the room.

We came in the winter, but the room was too warm. We were not able to adjust the room temperature.

staff - 5 stars, but they work in a 4 star hotel :):( hence the problems, they are happy to help, but apparently the policy of the hotel is to try to minimize costs :( the safe has been broken for 5 years, so they didn’t do it to us :) liquid soap and shampoo were not replenished, ... BUT! excellent restaurant and breakfast, excellent management at the reception! all in all good :)

Spacious rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Amazing view. The restaurant worked in the evening of January 1st and we had a great family dinner there. We were tired after a long journey from Paris and this stop was a hugely anticipated halt which fully satisfied us.

I’m very sensitive regarding pillows. They were not comfortable for me.

We stayed for 3 nights in March 2024. The room was a great size and very comfortable. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. The location was great with easy access to the train station. We would be happy to stay here again next time we are in Grenoble.

The fridge in the room wasn’t very cold but cooler than leaving the items out in the room.

Excellent location.The area is bright clean and modern.Next to the railway and bus station.Nice restaurant, food was quickly served and nice and hot and fresh.No fuss.Breakfasr is far too expensive though.It is as expensive as the dinner menu.Please reduce that cost.I think 12 euro is reasonable.

+ Super good breakfast + Super super helpful reception staff. Young man who was at the reception evening of 5th of Feb redefined service quality. He helped me beyond my expectations to find the right parking place (which is tricky as the behind the first ramp). + Location

- The lights were clearly indicating entrance to the public car park, but the hotel car park is one ramp down behind the public one

Our air-conditioner wasn't working ad wasn't the fridge we hesitated to make a fuss but we needed a good night's sleep for our next morning long drive. The young man didn't hesitate to upgrade us to a more appropriate room. The transition was smooth.

In our upgraded room the shampoo etc wasn't attached to the wall , it fell and lacerated my leg there was blood and cuts. I asked for a Bandai at the front desk and received it with an apology..

As charming as Grenoble is, my stay at this hotel was just as wonderful! The staff are incredibly friendly and professional, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. This has been my best experience in France so far, and I would definitely visit both the city and this hotel again!
