The property was very clean! The staff were very friendly. The pool area was a lovely bonus and way to relax after walking around all day! Although I didn’t love the walk part of the way through, the proximity to the main square area was excellent. It was about a 15 minute walk to get to an area with lots of restaurants and then that lead you further into the area with the monuments and museums.

Nothing really about the property itself however, it didn’t feel like the best location to walk through to get to the main square in Arles. The street that you walk down is dark and made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

Exceptional breakfast. Great activities available...indoor pool, sauna, spa, play area for children. Location was an easy walk to main attractions, however, Arles is a little more run down than most French towns.

There was no on-site restaurant. This was unfortunate since we were experiencing terrible weather and did not wish to leave the hotel. However, they did have smaller snacks available that we made due with. Also, we were given an interior room with a window that faced another room. This was horrible since we had to have the drapes drawn at all times for privacy, thus had no natural light. If it weren't for this, the hotel would have been perfect.

My 10 year old declared this the best hotel ever. Judging by the number of families with 10 year old boys staying here he was definitely the target demographic. He was able to make a friend at the pool despite the language barrier. Most of the families at the hotel were French so it felt like a cultural immersion. As someone used to standard American hotel continental buffet breakfasts I have to laugh about the reviews complaining about the breakfast. I mean, the croissants were stlll warm, the coffee machines made eight types of coffee, and there was a machine you could put an orange in and get a fresh squeezed orange juice. There are eggs but beware- they are not hard boiled yet, you must cook them yourself! The walk to the old city goes by some dingy historic buildings, sidewalks that need weeding, and through a parking lot, but was quick and felt safe enough.

Our room- a big bed and a single bed- had a window onto the bottom of a light shaft with some fake grass, some art, and a table and chairs in it. I was worried I would feel claustrophobic but it was ok. The pool doesn’t have a shallow end.

All staff were very friendly and very professional. You get the feeling that all staff want the hotel to be a success. Eva, at the reception, has been very helpful throughout our stay. The staff in the dining room is very helpful and works with much enthusiasm. The housekeeping staff are doing an amazing job. The room is spacious, has a fridge and a coffee maker. The bathroom well equipped. The breakfast buffet is varied and of very good quality. The common areas are very welcoming. The pool, jacuzzi, billiard table and baby foot are a great addition. The parking is an added bonus. Keep up the excellent work.

Nothing really. A suggestion: A couple of bottles of water in the room fridge upon arrival would be a good addition.

We paid extra for the buffet breakfast and it was good. Coffee very nice. Beds very comfortable and nice pillows.

The sliced bread for toast was sweet and unpleasant. I couldn’t make the toaster work so used the sandwich toaster. Fresh fruit was not very varied or plentiful given a premium was paid Location was a bit far from town centre and right on the edge of a rather seedy run down area. A shuttle bus to the centre would help. The foyer had an unpleasant smell of air freshener.

Hotel had great staff who really tried to make our stay smoother despite inconveniences. Rooms were well equipped and had a decent surface. Hotel has swimming pool and offers the necessary equipment to join. It also offers privacy in terms of neighbour room sounds.

Fair distance from touristic objectives. Deeply disappointed by the 8 am sound made by a drilling machine - staff clarified that it was not them doing the works, but still hard to digest for a weekend morning - still would consider booking them as we hope this was an exception rather than a rule.

This place totally exceeded our expectations. It was WAY better than we expected from the photos and reviews. The lobby is full huge, active, and full of amenities. The rooms are large, clean, and otherwise great. The complaints about noise were unfounded for us (we had our best sleeps in ages during our stay). It's true the coffee maker is a mystery (I have a PhD in engineering and could not figure it out). The bar was closed, which is a pity considering the great atmosphere. The staff were a bit sparse later on, but that wasn't a problem for us. They let us keep our bikes safe in an unused conference room.

A kettle or easier coffee machine.

Being able to park our car was a treat and staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean. The bathroom was modern with an excellent shower. Breakfast was adequate but good coffee machine. By far the best part was the swimming pool with great hot tub & steam room etc. The pool has a retractable roof to accommodate rain or shine. It is also not freezing. Great!

The bedroom was an 'inside' room with a view into a light-well area. Unfortunately, there was a corridor window at the same level . There are net curtains but we kept the curtains closed to ensure privacy which made the room very dark. It was also very small. It's a wee bit of a walk (10 -15 mins.) into town -some of it uphill- so I would only recommend it to those with good mobility.

Good location, free guarded private parking, breakfast only 3eur extra, quiet room, night curtains. Coffee machine in room. The receptionist's (girl) attention to detail and professionalism was impressive!

Hotel is pretty old but in good condition. There is a spa but with entrance from restaurant. I could not understand where to change and how to use it but receptionist boy was not interested to help me :)

Nice spacious room and good air conditioning . Breakfast was good but hot plates were cold. Location is easy to walk into the city centre and there is secure parking for guests

We had a bath tub and overhead shower which is quite 70's now. We didn't realise we may have been able to book a room with a modernised bathroom with walk in shower though it seems most are being transformed. The day shift staff were very helpful and pleasant however the late/early shift appeared uninterested .
