We recently stayed at this incredible hotel for our honeymoon, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty and charm of this place. Our suite was nothing short of spectacular. The bedroom was perfect, offering an intimate and luxurious atmosphere that set the tone for our romantic getaway. The view from our veranda was breathtaking, and watching the sunset from the outdoor hot tub was a magical experience we'll never forget. The staff truly made our stay exceptional. Two young gentlemen, in particular, went above and beyond by carrying our luggage up and down the stairs during check-in and check-out. They were incredibly kind and always available via WhatsApp for any request we had. Their dedication to making our stay perfect was evident in every interaction. Despite arriving early in Santorini, the hotel had our room ready by 9 AM, allowing us to relax and refresh before exploring the island. This thoughtful gesture made a significant difference in our stay. One evening, we enjoyed a delicious gyros kebab platter for two from a fantastic local restaurant. It was delivered to us quickly as we lounged in the hot tub, watching the stunning sunset. The combination of the exquisite food and the picturesque setting made for a truly unforgettable dining experience. This was, without a doubt, the best vacation we've ever had and the most beautiful hotel we've ever stayed in. Everything from A to Z was perfect, and we can't recommend this place highly enough. It was an absolute dream come true, and we can't wait to return. Thank you!

From the first, our host, Olsi, was brilliant. He picked us up from the airport (€45 cash), drove us around, and pointed out good spots to visit. He made us feel very welcome, and throughout our stay, was on hand for anything we needed. Not just Olsi, but the whole staff from helping with luggage to room service crew were nothing but helpful and friendly people who made our stay all the more enjoyable. The apartment itself...wow! The pictures don't do it justice. Stunning little patio area with sun loungers, table and chairs with parasol, and a fantastic jacuzzi half exposed to enjoy basking in the sun, and half under cover in what feels like a cave! (Was a blessing coming back from a hard day's sunbathing to relax in the tub with a local beverage!...or 2!) All overlooking the stunning scenery, sea, and awesome views of the Santorinin sun sets, which never get old! Go inside to a decent sized lounge, with kitchenette area, dining table, t.v etc. Through to the amazing cave-esque bathroom with waterfall shower, and up to the bedroom area. The place was crisp and clean, with fresh towels, robes and slippers changed daily (or not if you prefer) We thoroughly enjoyed Santorini and when we return, would definitely stay here again. Nothing. Oia is right at the top of Santorini so would suggest as we did, hire a car/bike/atv to get around. Otherwise the bus service seems regular and reliable.

The first room we stayed in was truly spacious, and its terrace offered a perfect view of the sunset. Every detail inside the room was thoughtfully designed and beautifully executed — I loved everything about it. The only critique I can offer regarding the property is about the shared pool in front of the Kiku restaurant. During use, there was almost no sense of peace or quiet. Although there are only about six sun loungers, the restaurant staff nearby was quite numerous and constantly engaged in discussions or evaluations. It felt like there was never a moment of calm — they were talking non-stop, which made it hard to truly relax. Watching the sunset from above and taking in the view of Mykonos, while getting lost in its charming backstreets, was an unforgettable experience.

I don’t know if you’ve been to Santorini before, but if you haven’t — staying at one of the top hotels in the center often means all the tourist crowds have a perfect view of you in your private pool (and might even take photos). This hotel, on the other hand, is just a short scooter ride away from the Santorini crowds, yet offers complete privacy with its private pool. The architectural language in the room, kitchen, and bathroom — as well as the landscape and accessories — could be enhanced to feel more bohemian and refined, but we found the service and the team truly outstanding. Watching the sunset by the pool was an amazing experience.

It may sound strange to some, but every detail matters through the eyes of an architect and interior designer. That’s why elements ranging from the trash bin to the kitchenware should be reconsidered to achieve a more cohesive and bohemian aesthetic.

This place was awesome! Our driver worked for the hotel, so he picked us up and checked us in once at the hotel. They left us a menu to a local restaurant to order in, which was so nice after traveling. They also left us a complimentary bottle of local wine, and when they saw us enjoying it in the hot tub they brought us another! The place was super clean, huge (the size of an apartment), had beautiful views, and the staff was helpful and nice. I hope to come back someday.

The only down side to staying here is that when cars pass by on the main road, it sounds like thunder each time. I personally didn't mind it much, but if you are someone who struggles to sleep it may bother you.

I stayed at Sun Angelos Oia and genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, Olsi was incredibly warm and accommodating—he even let us check in 3 hours early and offered a late checkout, which made such a difference after traveling. The suite was spotless, stylish, and super comfortable. It had that beautiful cave-style charm with modern touches, and the private hot tub with a view was a dream—especially at sunset. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of Santorini. The location was ideal—tucked away just outside the busy part of Oia, so it felt peaceful and quiet, but still just a short walk to everything. It really gave us the best of both worlds. What stood out most was the care and hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond, offering great local tips and always making sure we had everything we needed. It truly felt like staying with friends who wanted us to have the best time. I’d 100% recommend Sun Angelos Oia. It made our Santorini trip feel extra special, and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

It was the most beautiful apartment in the perfect location, easy walk into the town but far enough out that it was peaceful and very private not overlooked like a lot of the apartments in the town. The staff were very attentive and always checking in if you need anything. Excellent service. Staff went above and beyond to ensure comfort. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Only recommendation would be to add a welcome pack with general instructions and recommendations etc. however, upon request with any questions the staff were very quick to advise.

The location was great, walking into Oia took maybe 15-20 minutes. Our cave suite was incredible, big and welcoming. The jacuzzi tub out front was amazing- watching the sunset from there is one of the most memorable parts of our honeymoon. The staff was very friendly, helping us down the stairs with our heavy bags. Wish we spent more time here and Santorini in general, we loved it!

You can hear the cars drive over you at night in bed, not sure if just our suite has that issue. Wasn't really a problem for us but others may not like the noise.

Everything here is superb, Perfect Location, a short 15mins walk to oia which in my opinion perfect because here you get so much privacy and beautiful sunsets. The cave room is very spacious and very clean. The view is amazing and the plunge pool along with the sun beds are to die for. Great value for money too! The staff is very friendly and they always kept checking on us if we need anything. No problem with noise at all as some other reviews said! I would definitely book here again when I revisit Santorini.

Nothing to be honest.

This hotel’s architecture is stunning! Sunset views were to die for - especially from the spa! The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They provided us with a charcuterie board when they noticed we were drinking the complementary wine - extremely thoughtful! 15 min walk to central part of Oia. Close to the bus stop. The cave suite was extremely modern and spacious with comfortable beds. The gardens were all very well maintained which contributed to a positive stay.
