I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Fenice Hotel in Prague, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The service was fantastic, with the staff being incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to every need. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a tasteful and abundant variety that catered to all preferences. The building itself is authentic and beautifully designed, creating a romantic and cozy atmosphere. Overall, La Fenice is the best small hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.

Location was perfect, quite convenient to the Metro and an easy walk to the center of town. The staff was helpful and friendly and always available. The room was a delightful combination of regional charm and modern comfort. Plan to stay ther again!

I liked everything!

The hotel is located in the beautiful area of Jiřího z Poděbrad, which is between Žižkov and Vinohrady. The area is quiet but full of great non-touristic restaurants and bars, away from the touristic bubble that exists in the city center. The hotel could be a little outdated design-wise for some people, yet it has all the amenities you'd possibly ask for, for this convenient price. The staff were very friendly as well. Lastly, the hotel is very close to the city center, about 10-20 minutes walking depending on your pace. If walking is not your thing, there's the metro station very close to the hotel which can take you directly to Wenceslas Square.

Overal, I don't have any complains. I'd recommend some needed updates on the equipment within the rooms and bathrooms. Also, the hotel needs a little renovation, it looks like a hotel you'd find in the 90s, but it has its charm :)

The room is perfect for a staying. The bathroom is huge (really) and the bed was really comfortable. Staff is very helpful, the room was very clean and the room was cozy and warm during a really cold weather. The hotel is easy to find (it's a beautiful yellow building) and easy to reach from airport/downtown by metro/tram, so it's easy to go to places from there as well.

The hotel is a little bit far from downtown/activities, but there is tram and metro nearby so it's not a big deal. It's a little bit tricky to find cheap places to eat nearby as well and staff (even though was absolutely helpful) sent us to some really expensive options (40 euros a meal, common bro...), but you can find cheaper options nearby... just not many. Our room did not have many electric outlets and we had a lot of phone charging to do, so... be ready for that.

La Fenice was indeed a boutique hotel. It was historic, quaint, with excellent staff. It was not over the top but did hold onto the ambience of a boutique hotel. It was very easy to visit the entire city by transit and in some cases by walking. There was a breakfast room but no other food services in the hotel. However restaurants, groceries, cafes, were all handy.

There are never enough plugs for all the recharging we want to do these days but there was adequate for my demands.

The hotel was really beautiful in Italian style. The staff were helpful - on our first evening upon arrival, the middle-aged/older gentleman at Reception was very kind and gracious in indicating where we could get a good view of the city for free and how to travel, outlining this on a map of the city. When we had to leave early one morning for a tour before the scheduled breakfast time, the manager allowed us to attend breakfast early and it was already prepared; the staff are thus very efficient. The breakfast buffet was truly outstanding and a beautiful sight of abundance and variety to behold! Our room was very large and spacious and the hotel was kept clean, with our towels replaced everyday and cleaning in communal areas conducted. The staff also indicated places where we could get food locally; the location is great because it is not in the centre of the busy tourist hubs so you can get affordable food nearby (there is Czech cuisine in a few places nearby, The Pind is an excellent Indian restaurant at very reasonable prices a short walk away, and the Amuni restaurant next door to the hotel has a small, lovely enclosed outdoor area at the back, very romantic for an evening meal). The rooms/bathrooms were also well equipped. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel! I genuinely had such a good time that I want to share this.

It was in an ideal location to access public transport all over the city. It was in a more quiet area of Prague but also had many nice dining options close by. Our room was comfortable and clean and the staff were exceptionally kind and considerate of all of our needs.

The breakfast was slightly expensive (€14 per person per day) compared to other options in the area and nothing noteworthy - sausage, beans, eggs, and yogurt.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is in very great area with plenty of good restaurants, you can quickly get to the city center. Our room looked to a side street with less noise, so it was pretty silent, and soundproof. Breakfast was gorgeous with many options, including healthy ones, and also delicious pastries, ones we took home-made Napoleon! And even amazing cheesecake was there ones! Girls on breakfast were quick, smiling and ready to help.

Air conditioner in your room was blowing directly to the bed, even changing directions of airflow to the most down one, so that we can't keep it for night, although it was really hot days in the end of June

Being one of the cheaper hotel options in Prague I could not have been happier. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was so comfortable. Room was cleaned every day exceptionally well. The staff were all lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. The breakfast which was included in my booking was really good, lots of options and very tasty. The location had lots of shopping nearby but also easy to book an Uber or bolt and not far from the main center. I would not hesitate to stay here again, I really loved my time here.

Nothing to not like

We liked all, the spacious rooms included all the necessary items, a plus is that we got two rooms next to each other orher in a corridor we could close, perfect for families with children; the beds were very comfortable and wide; the bathroom full equiped (including bidet); the hotel decoration makes it cosy; the continental breakfast buffet very complete and lots to chose from; and the friendly staff. The location is perfect as it is close to the metro that brings you directly to the turistic center.

The water of the shower was not constant and changed yo really hot or really cold.
