The room and bathroom were quite large. The decorations were cute and made the room feel homely. Everything was very clean, there wasn’t even any mould in the grout in the shower which almost all hotel rooms seem to have. The beds were comfortable and the amenities in the room didn’t lack anything. You also get a breakfast box that has your choice of cereal, milk, juice, and 2 almond bars. You have your own parking space right at your front door and there’s even a little open patio to sit at the back of the room. We stayed on a Saturday night so was very loud with live music at the pub and we were worried we weren’t going to be able to sleep but it went very quiet by 9pm and had zero noise after that. I didn’t realise it was right on the water with parks etc so we went on a really nice walk along the walking track there. The pub is huge, modern and fresh and had a great atmosphere. The food at the pub was even better. All in all we had a great stay and a great experience.

The drains in the room were a bit smelly. It wasn’t too bad, but it also wasn’t overly pleasant. The man that checked us in was a bit grumpy. He wasn’t very friendly checking us in and when we came back to order lunch he was very bothered by us being there and trying to place an order towards the e end of the serving period. If it wasn’t for him, I would have given a 10/10 as the stay would have been perfect!

We loved the carport area directly in front of our room. (room 4) It kept our car cool and out of the weather. The room was bright and clean. The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the two of us to place our luggage. A sliding door from the room leads out to a garden, and there is a small table and chairs for your use. The bathroom was clean and modern, and the shower was very good. The pub was very nice with a beautiful area for kids to play..

We liked everything, but we both missed having a mirror on the wall where you could sit and do your hair or make-up. There is a mirror on the wall at the entrance of the unit, but it is set too high for anyone under 155cm, lol Just a personal preference, but I don't like bedspreads. It would be nice to have updated linens on the beds. Also, I find florescent light harsh and uncomfortable. It would be preferable to have softer lighting over the beds.

We arrived and the check-in manager advised that the price here on booking.com was incorrect and changed it, bringing it down by $150 overall - this was honestly incredible, as we would never have known that it was priced too high. We also got given complimentary breakfast boxes that were great and the kids loved them. On the second night we ordered room service and the wood fired pizza is a must have! Everything was delicious. The room was clean, tidy and gave a nostalgic feel with a slightly modern twist. Aircons were on and the room was cooled down which was great. Could not fault anything at all. Our family loved the stay.

If you have a larger car, be mindful of the parks - we have a Nissan patrol and it was a bit of a tight fit but manageable.

We were up for a wedding. Very convenient. Unfortunatley we didn't get to try the menu. The room was spacious. Great shower and bathroom. Comfy beds and pillows.

It was State Of Origin. We checked in at 8.30pm. The bistro was closed. When we went to the sports bar all the food on offer was peanuts and crisps. We wish there was an airfryer with spring rolls or party pies. Anything on a footy night to soak up some drinks.....

The breakfast packs were such a great bonus. I lived the little lemon cheese slices. Having the tavern 19 steps away from your room was so handy and the kids family play area was absolutely amazing. You can sit on the side and watch your child play and enjoy the outside with a drink and a meal. Absolutely amazing.

Because we arrived and booked last minute on Xmas day it was a bit stressful not being able to speak to anyone on the premises to find out what room we were in. Also another lady had accidentally locked herself out of the room and couldn't contact anyone to help her get back in. The doors would be better to have a code system if there is no one on sites on public holidays. But someone turned up about 20 minutes later and all was resolved pretty fast.

I loved we could check in slightly earlier (at 1:30pm) and the facilities at the hotel are amazing. So close to the beach and the outdoor beer garden and play area for the kids was so amazing and such a lovely surprise! One of our kids fell off the equipment and a team member approached us with complimentary icecream and to check we were all ok, it was lovely. We would love to come back next time we are at Bribie.

The staff member at check in weren't the friendliest. I didn't catch her name. Food prices were expensive but that seems to be a Bribie Island thing.

Perfect for an overnight stay after a concert at the Bribie Island Hotel - a few steps from our rooms to the venue was wonderful. Added bonus because they were so close was that I could go back to the room to use the bathroom instead of lining up at the hotel bathrooms. Rooms were clean. I prefer not to unpack into drawers and cupboards so I don't leave anything behind so I liked that we had space under a desk to store belongings to keep them from being underfoot. Liked that we could open a door and a window to let in fresh air. I found the staff to be very helpful. Also, we travelled with some friends and asked if our rooms could be close to each other - they gave us rooms 1 & 3 so we were happy with that. The complimentary breakfast packs were a nice surprise - we chose the Special K pack which had cereal, an oat bar, a lemon & yoghurt bar, a juice box and a small milk box - it was all yummy.

Finding reception to check-in was a little tricky - but as I was walking to the bar to ask someone where to go, I saw a big sign stating to check-in (at the bar). Figuring out how to locate the table we had booked for dinner was also a little difficult because we came in from the accommodation side - however, the helpful staff directed us to the front entrance where we killed two birds with one stone and, as well as being shown to our table, we also got our passes for the show that was on later that night so we wouldn't have to line up afterwards and could just come in from the back entrance again. The queen bed we had squeaked with any movement so we hoped the walls were thick enough to not annoy our neighbours.

Location of hotel behind the pub was great, easy access, until back door was locked and the access from hotel was limited, then walked around to front door for entry.

the toilets in the pub were very stinky... like waste or recycled water Brought 2 drinks to play mini golf at the outside bar, was told we could play mini golf, had one game, told they were shutting so had to finish up, Bed in out room wasnt the best but would still return

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and a quick walk along a path to the hotels facilities! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was very good at the hotel. There is a lovely area for children to play where parents can watch on while enjoying the relaxed ambience of the outdoor area!

Having to come home.

Opposite a long shoreline path with recreational areas. The lakes/ sea very attractive. Friendly staff. Hotel food good and wide choice.

My visit coincided with bad weather, so the halloween party was low numbers. I think this is a popular family hotel and could get very busy. But would make a good choice for meeting up. This is a motel so typical brick rooms, overlooked small outside space.
