Our room was comfortable and clean with a beautiful view over parkland and water. Great location too as we were able to go on a very pleasant walk along the waterfront with lots of interesting information boards on the history of the area (google 'Bongaree Walkabout' for map with information). We also walked across the bridge to the Sandstone Point Hotel for their Bonfire night (bonfires, fireworks, food, and entertainment). Woolworths and an Aldi were within walking distance (about 15 minutes). There was a microwave and fridge in our room. It was easy to get there on public transport from Brisbane (train, then bus), and the fare only cost 50 cents (thank you Brisbane City Council). Our accommodation was about 10 minutes walk from the first bus stop just after the bridge.

Reception had quite short hours and was closed when we arrived about 15 minutes before their 2pm check-in time. Traffic noise during the day made sitting outside on the balcony unpleasant, but fortunately it was much quieter at night so didn't interfere with sleep.

The lady in reception (wish I could remember her name) was lovely and helpful I had 2 nights there after the stress of selling my house and waiting 2 days for settlement on a unit I had purchased I was exausted after my removal and cleaning the house The lady said you are in unit 1 ground floor thank goodness at 82 I couldn't have handled the stairs The unit was waterfront she handed me a hand towell with 2 bottles of water and a small bottle of milk wrapped in it The unit was clean comfortable and well equipped The units are old but well maintained I would recommend a stay at this property 😊

It's on a busy road but quiet after 10pm

Perfect location opposite Pumicestone Package. Close to shops. Great central location. Rooms are a good size. Updated bathrooms. Rooms have a microwave and toasted for those who want to eat in. Crockery and cutlery supplies. Bed was comfortable. Being an older brick walled motel the rooms held the temperature well. This weekend temps were 35+ degrees and we didn’t need the air conditioning. Pool area has picnic tables which we used to have lunch with friends. It’s not 5 star luxury but it met all we needed for some time away.

Being woken by others coming back to their rooms at between 2 and 4am and not caring about others staying. Obviously outside the managers powers, I just wish others were more respectful.

Excellent location, across the road from the beach and easy walk to cafes, bowls club, IGA and takeaway food. Room was cosy and clean. Very much appreciated the net curtains and screen door to both keep the sliding door open for fresh air while retaining some privacy and keeping bugs out! The kitchenette was well equipped and loved the little touches of glasses in the fridge and real milk in a little bottle. Also appreciated house keeping checking in with us.

Ease of checkin; friendly and helpful staff; great location - easy walk to local amenities; had our own little kitchenette and sitting area and balcony on first floor - beautiful view. Access to pontoon noted and will be a reason why we book in next time. Bed was a bit too soft but we rotated it and voila! much better.

We had to leave too soon. (Mattress probably needs replacing or rotated regularly.) Liked every aspect of this accommodation.

friendliness of the lady at reception, friendly & helpful. the view from the room was great, even though on the bottom floor, located close to Sandstone Point Hotel (our reason for coming to Bribie Island), also the park across the street. shops are easy to get to. amenities were fine, except toilet roll was broken but the receptionist told us it'd been done by previous stay,

there were a few places that could have been cleaned a little better, the table still had glass/cups marks. also think Smoking should be allowed on the patio as long as the glass door to the room is shut, some guests were doing this, appreciate that there is a designated smoking area but unable to be used all the time due to the rainy weather, maybe some sort of little shelter over there

Liked that the car parking was available onsite right behind the rooms and that there were many spaces to choose from. Excellent location on the esplanade with water views, easy access right across the road to lovely parks and boardwalk. Rooms were simple, but clean and well laid out with everything needed for a short stay.

Facilities would be better if shaded parking was available and more secure if there were gates to swipe in and out.

I just needed a basic room to stay overnight and this place fit the bill so I didn't really have expectations either way. However, the attention to detail with everything needed in the room, and being given cold water and a small bottle of milk when I checked in with the friendly receptionist just made it such a pleasant experience. Parking was also plentiful and easy to access, the AC worked well, and the bed was comfy. Would happily stay again should the need arise!

Though we requested early check-in and confirmed via email, the day before arriving, that we would be arriving early. Our room was not ready and reception was closed. Cleaning staff weren't the friendliest either. Need more Power sockets near bed for charging device's without having to unplug bed lights

Great location and friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are basic but have everything you need for a family stay. The pool was very clean and there is a lovely beach across the road. We will definitely go back.

I would recommend calling the reception to book directly, as we encountered an issue with the booking.com reservation, which was disappointing but didn't ruin the stay by any means.
