location good,downstairs is beach,fresh water because there is river down.So sea water mixed with cold water from river,temperature will not be very warm,but in very hot weather is good.one umbrella and two chairs are 25euros per day.breakfast and dinner are colorful,not very delicious but eatable.bed comfortable,and room clean,facing to sea.parking not free,22euros per day,but in opatija is normal,everywhere parking is not cheap even though public parking.valuble hotel,price is valubale.stuffs attitude are good and polite.

maybe air conditioner not so cold. Lift really not big and slow.Should wait for long,especially when everyone finished dinner from resturant,not easy to catch lift.

Great location, close to city center but not too busy. Close to secluded swimming spots. Rooms old-fashioned but overall very well maintained. Amazing views from the seaside rooms. Friendly staff at the hotel beach, bar and dinner reception. Solid breakfast and dinner.

Indoor swimming area not very well cleaned. Only one water/soft drink dispenser at breakfast/dinner, making it quite a bottleneck, especially when dinner starts around 7pm. It gets less crowded later in the evening. Birds are quite an annoyance at dinner and breakfast, but manageable if you keep an eye out not to leave any food unattended. Anyway, there is the option to eat inside as well. Staff tries to keep the birds away and clean up behind guests quickly but they could clean surfaces a little more often and intensively after birds also jump on the tables, seats, plates etc.

The hotel was really nice and rooms are very comfortable and clean, with beautiful sea view. There was different kind of food, rich buffet for breakfast and dinner, specially because I needed gluten free food. Also loved the possibility of having meals outside on the terrace enjoying food, smell of the sea and salt, fresh air and beautiful sunsets. The beach in front of the hotel was really nice. Lastly, the staff is helpful and kind.

Loved the view from the hotel room, it was really really extraordinary and beautiful. The rooms were above and beyond comfy, clean and smelled so nice each day, our little daughter loved to smell in the air during our stay. The halfboard meals were fulfilling in the morning and during dinner. The private beach and Opatija famous lady with seagull statue was very close, 10 mins. We loved the inner swimming pool as our little one is only 2 years old and she needed a safer space to enjoy the holiday. I would recommend it to both families and groups and also for myself in case I need some comfy me-time.

The cot for my kid was not prepared in the room beforehand we occupied our room, and I needed to ask the receptionists 3 times during the day to complete this request. I needed to check the booking price vs hotel prices and it turned out that they wanted to charge full adult tax to my kid, that caused the difference btw the 2 bills. My kid wanted to try the fish meals during dinner but they were full of fishbone so she couldn't. We were extracharged for using the private beach of the hotel (25 euros each day) and for using the private parking (20 euros each day).

Very nice hotel with great location and spectacular sea view. We were accomodated in a room with а sea view even though we had booked a regular room which was a very kind gesture. The breakfast was very tasty. The staff was very polite and helpful.

The beach umbrella and sunbeds in front of the hotel in fact are not free and you should pay an extra cost which was a bit surprising for us.

The rooms facing the sea are large and have beautiful views. The swimming pool was an added bonus. The food in the bar is better than the restaurant.

The buffet meals are similar everything day. rather disappointing. Breakfasts are reasonable and the best meal of the day. The buffet dinner is more of a bun fight when the hotel is full, especially in autumn, when inside eating is preferable, and quite expensive for what you get offered. Parking, if coming by car is a problem, you need to book the hotels 4 spots outside, at a price! No iron in rooms.

We had to change to their sister hotel admiral because the AC didn’t work. At first we weren’t too happy about it but the hotel was very nice and up to date . The staff was very helpful , quick and friendly to resolve the problem .

They offered classes such as yoga etc . Those were extremely poorly executed. Not sure if the teacher has ever done yoga themselves . We also wanted to schedule a couples massage. Scheduled for 9 am . They wrote down 1 person 10 am and told us they couldn’t do 2 people at the same time . It seems like they want to offer a lot but don’t actually have the staff for it .

Location by the sea and room looked out at sea. Easy walk from bus station. Pool looked lovely but I didn't get time to use it. Excellent breakfast. Loved having a bath in our room. Good to have mini frig for water.

Air conditioning not working in the hotel and it was 27 degrees and airless at night, if we opened the window it was really noisy with music and voices from bar underneath. No tea making facility. No soap for bath only gel high up on wall in a dispenser that didn't work. really hard to find hotel as the name Krystal faced the road above canopy and we were walking. the capital K font looked like an H so easy to miss. a sign with hotel name on entry steps or doorway would help.

The location is perfect, walking distance from the centre where lots of services are available. The staff is very professional, helpful and friendly. I especially appreciated the beach of the hotel and the availability of sun beds and parasols.

For dinner, I would have appreciated more fresh fish. I was under the impression that the fish was defrosted.

I liked the staff that was very lovely - from the reception, spa, bar, housekeeping and the staff at the hotel beach. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. Food was absolutely amazing!

The only thing that I didn’t like were birds on the hotel terrace during meals, that were picking the foods. But overall stay & service were amazing and we made fun out of this slight problem.
