Enjoyed the staff, everything was comfortable though slightly spare. All needs were met, abundant games were a nice touch for rainy-day entertainment, free drink coupons encouraged us to give that lounge area a try and we did have fun. Didn’t need to use the car all weekend due to the active location.
Well, a small in-room fridge and microwave can be nice, for longer stays. Didn’t really miss them this time though. Was a little unclear on parking lot rules, but it was conveniently across the street and we didn’t need to find out rules around going in and out. Overall hotel chain might be trying too hard for hipness, but this staff were kind and genuine!

It definitely leans heavily into the hip/cool/unconventional vibe, but not in a way that put off my older self. Staff was very friendly and the place was clean, and the location is good. There are several nice coffee shops a couple blocks down the street, and Lyndale and its bars and restaurants aren't too far away (we walked there).
I wish the bathroom had better soundproofing, because the barn door doesn't really do a great job in that respect, and don't we all want just a little privacy sometimes. There is no on-site parking, which was a surprise, but the street parking out front was never a problem and a lot cheaper than a garage.

Staff was nice, room was way cool, nice bed. Quiet and the hotel didn't smell. It was very posh. Complimentary drink tokens were awesome. Cool guitar in room. They very quickly brought up a new guitar after one of the strings on ours was broken.
Parking is a little bit complicated and the location while is very nice is a little hard to navigate right away due to the parking situation. The entrance to the hotel was also a bit confusing, but easy enough after you figured it all out.

People coming and going in the wee hours woke me up with their loud voices (and the doors are loud when you open & close them). But that's to be expected at a hotel in Uptown Mpls that caters to a young crowd. So I k ew that was a risk. In the room, I wasn't sure if the bin in the bathroom was for trash (no liner) and/or recycling. And I'd really prefer to have a coffee maker in the room, but I brought thermos so I could have coffee ready right when I woke up, without having to go downstairs.

Nice hotel in Uptown Minneapolis, very modern and super friendly staff. They offered me two coupons to use at the bar and there's free coffee and tea available 24/7. The room was very nice and equipped with everything I needed (the bed was incredibly comfortable!) Even though I stayed only for a weekend, I really enjoyed my stay and I'd recommend this place.
The location could be better, but nothing to complain about the hotel itself

Great friendly hotel, rooms are very well thought out, but not large. Value proposition is excellent. Free drip coffee on main floor throughout day, communal fridge on the main floor if needed, free drink upon checkin.
Not good for work - there is a stool and small foldup table, which certainly suffices for short email checks etc. But if you plan to spend a few hours hacking away in your room, it won't be super comfortable.

Honestly this was an incredible stay, I can't fault it really. It had everything we needed and more, everything was new and modern. Decor is beautiful, facilities were perfect. I've travelled a decent amount in all different accommodation types and I feel like it had all the social opportunities you find in a hostel and all the comfort from a hotel. Quality stay!
The only thing about it is that it's very far from the centre of town. I understand they have a branch in the centre but of course you'll have to pay more for it. That's my only fault. Ubers are available and walking is an option.

The person who checked me in was so relatable and definitely deserves all good things in life. Made me feel so welcome! The entire facility was well run, clean and exceptionally aesthetically pleasing.
The only downfall was access that was beyond their control. Road construction.
