Location was on the top of the hill overlooking the ocean which was great. No view from the room but that was expected. Lots of restaurants and pub in walking distance too or down the hill to many more. Great walks to the lighthouse, beach and river entrance/breakwater This town has a great feel and we will defiantly come back.

The bed was only a double and the room tiny. Very nicely decked out though. Great for the night but not for longer stays. Maybe they have bigger rooms but we were only there for the night as travelling through to QLD so didn't need much else.

I was allocated a room upstairs and asked if there was a ground floor room available. The bloke on reception did all he could to accommodate my request. The room was clean and comfortable although a little small. Great communal facilities. Only a small number of car spaces on site but there was plenty of street parking. Close to the beach and eating places in the town.

Just a word of warning, the Stella is on a hill so it is a down a steep ramp to a pretty ordinary beach and down a steep road into town. However, there were some cafes and restaurants plus a pub on the motel's level.

This is my second stay at the Stella, and it will probably become my go-to in Yamba; the location across the road from Main Beach is unbeatable, and it’s a pretty close walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants in the main part of town. I didn’t use them this time, but the common room facilities are also pretty nifty if you’re looking to self cater.

The rooms are quite small, so don’t count on lounging around relaxing in your room all day. That said, the room I was clean and comfortable and I’d stay here again for sure. There’s a good common lounge room area if you need a bit of space…and of course the beaches across the road and around the corner!!

There is a lot to like - fantastic location overlooking the sea; really friendly staff; property has been renovated and feels freshly painted and really well maintained. It is adjacent to a great pub and some good restaurants, and a short walk from the beach and Yamba village

My ground floor room was small and felt claustraphobic because to get any privacy at all from other people walking to their rooms, you need to completely shut the blinds to the one window. I am sure there are other rooms in the hotel that don't have this problem.

Awesome. The room was well appointed and the staff were cheery and amazing. They were happy to give you anything you needed. We enjoyed using the massive shared kitchen and meeting other travellers there. Also, the common spaces with comfortable lounges were welcome. The location was perfect for access to the beaches, parks and nearby restaurants. The town centre is down the steep hill, less than a 10 minute stroll. There you will find groceries and more restaurants. We had a great week at the Stella.

Located perfectly within walking distance to the best restaurants and beaches. The sweetheart at reception was so friendly in the morning as I missed her at checking in late :). Best thing was the attention to detail of cleanliness in the room..and also the little touches like a decent sized coffee cup and comfortable bed and sheets.. Great for respectful adults. We don’t want much but boy you know it when a hotel gets it right ! Like travelling in style and being thoughtfully left to it. Details not lost on me as an international flight attendant who has stayed in many many hotels. Loved Stella’s and can’t wait to come back!! Perfect. Book it. You will be so happy you did!

Please lighten up on the room spray fragrance. 🙏🏼Nevertheless , It absolutely won’t stop me staying there again as I’m so delighted to find such a gem of a place!!

The location is excellent, overlooking the ocean and foreshore. Our stay was last minute and we had a budget room which was small but well appointed with fridge, desk, and a comfy chair. The ensuite was very spacious. The common kitchen provided plates and cleaning facilities for our takeaway food for the evening. This was also immaculately clean. The gentleman who checked us in was a delight.

Car parking is limited and our room was on the small side but for the price I was very happy with our stay.

The location is hard to beat. A short walk to the Pacific Hotel, the main beach, shops and restaurants. The common facilities are excellent, with a number of different relaxing areas with seating in a courtyard, a lounge, and an area with panoramic views over the river. A large kitchen and eating areas are included.

There are 2 rooms in the complex that are particularly small, of which I had one! The particular room was also the only one that had no provision for an outside table and chair. However it was comfortable and newly renovated. I will know for next time!

The place and room wonderful. It was located centrally in Yamba and was easy to drive to with available parking out front near my room. The receptionist very welcoming and freindly offering all the services available and whats on and around Yamba. Guests were freindly and had entertainment area whichvi didnt have time to use. The room had a wondetful refreshing essence. It felt so clean and some chilled music playing from tv. Very nice ambience. The single bed very comfortable, lovely shower, wfi worked well. Location perfect. A few minute walk to shops, club, beach which I didn't get time to walk to.

Nothing really but if I had to be picky was maybe now and then voices of various guests that would walk by the window. For privacy there blinds to close. Other than that it was a very clean and would have loved to stay longer. Would stay here next time.

Beautiful location with shops and restaurants in walking distance. Staff were excellent, friendly and obliging. It was a small room but that was all we needed for our overnight stay. The room was super clean with lovely linen, soap and toiletries. We appreciated the extra touches such as music playing when we arrived in the room, an oil heater and the lovely garden. Would definitely stay for an overnight again when we're travelling through.
