The room was big as was the bathroom which had a shower and a bathtub. We had a view of the river and were located on the third floor. The hotel was just a five min walk from the main square and just around the corner from the river walk. The air conditioner worked well. The hotel has a beautiful terrace where breakfast is served.

My partner did not sleep well as the pillows were to hard for him. I slept fine and found the bed very comfortable. The hotel is close to the bridge therefore we couldn’t open the windows, it would have been too loud. The air conditioner gave off an unpleasant smell at the beginning. I would not have dinner at the hotel restaurant anymore. It is expensive and not worth the money. There are better option on the town.

I loved everything about this hotel, starting from the pleasant surprise of receiving a room upgrade, up to the room itself, which was large, clean, comfortable, and truly pleasant for our city break. There was a complimentary bottle of water, which was much appreciated - it is a small gesture which is sometimes forgotten at other hotels. The people from the front desk were kind and attentive and made all efforts to sort out any situation. I found the hotel to be indeed 4-star worthy. The breakfast was also varied and delicious, and the restaurant was fine as well - we enjoyed the dinner on the hotel terrace overlooking the city and the river. This hotel is great for exploring the city - it is close to the old town, to the river promenade and also close to a large shopping mall across the river - for whoever is into holiday shopping 😊 It also has underground parking, which was great for us traveling by motorcycle.

Not the case.

the staff is very helpful, fun to talk to, polite, the room was in general amazing, with some things less so... the location of the hotel is amazing, pretty much ideal for exploring the city, Lent especially, the parking garage is quite nice... oh, and the fully glass bathroom (not toilet, mind you)... yeah, can't but love it. breakfast was good, and the terrace of the restaurant (where you can also have breakfast)... I mean, you have to visit just for that... and the cocktails *grin* (no bloody mary, though)

The bed was quite worn down, not very comfortable at all. The windows seem to have a slight gap, as there is some noise from the street, and with drunk people passing all night, ... well, yeah

The staff is friendly and polite, the superior room is big, overlooking the river, the breakfast is good and with good variety. The a la carte restaurant on 5th floor is in the Michelin guide.

The smart tv was not connected to the internet, the shower in the shower cabin had really low pressure and I had to use the shower from the bathtub spilling water all over. Both issues were addressed to the reception, but nope fixed in 5 days. The carpet is old and would need replacing, because it contributes to a everything is dusty sensation. I understand that the one use toiletries need to be eliminated for ecological reasons, but for a 4* hotel they could have dispensers with everything necessary, like shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, etc, like in other hotels, some tissues. Instead just 1 in all body, hair, soap liquid.

Fantastic location on the river and central for everything. Room was very comfortable and it was good to have a coffee maker. Breakfast was superb and we could eat inside or on the terrace. We didn't try Theresa restaurant but it's Michelin and looked great. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Mentioned to the receptionist that when in the shower the floor was incredibly slippery to the point of being dangerous. Apparently rooms are due an update so this will be noted for management. Really just needs supply of a rubber mat!

I stay here regularly and now book one of the large rooms at the back of the hotel, which are well soundproofed from the outside world. The reception area is always quiet and comfortable to work there.

There was a slight ambient hum from the electrics in the room. The television got stuck in an on position late at night and I had to go the reception. The receptionist came up and fortunately had the ingenuity to switch the TV off in the fuse box.

I booked a standard room, requesting one at the back of the hotel as usual. I was allocated a much bigger room overlooking the river, which was nice, particularly as it had a full bath instead of the usual shower. I was a little worried about noise from traffic on the viaduct, but the windows were well soundproofed.

Running the bath in the morning, I couldn't work out how to get water out of the bath tap. I asked the chambermaid for help, but she couldn't work it out either. It didn't really matter, as I could fill the bath from the showerhead, but it just seemed a bit counter-productive to fit a bath tap which had no function, if that was indeed the case.

The room was spacious and clean. An excellent buffet breakfast is served. Our room was on the heavy traffic roadside, but thanks to the good isolating windows, it was quiet. The reception desk people and room ladies were kind and helpful. Good parking in the underground garage. Bus station No. 6. is very close to the hotel and the bus goes directly to the cable cars by which you can reach the hilltop.

We are tea lovers and found no kettle in the room. The ergonomic mattresses were too soft for our taste. The bathroom would badly need a fresh air supply. Parking is not free.

Perfect room with beautiful view on Drava river, Pohorje mountain and city. Nice and quiet with huge comfy bed to enjoy in. Breakfast.. well VERY tasty, everything for someone (on picture combo štrudl, pancakes with some yogurt & strawberries). Staff helpful & polite. Everything is close; restaurants, bars, shops, city park, theatre, train and bus station 15 minutes by foot. I wanted room with view and bath to enjoy ending of Old and start of New year with a glass/bottle of champagne ;) after Christmas spent in hospital with Pneumonia (and NO, that's not a womans name :D ). So, if you're alone or couple, I recommend this hotel.

Everything was perfect.

We were traveling with our dog and got a free upgrade on the room on a suite. The room was very modern, with a great view on the Drau and everything was very clean. I can recommend the hotel for travelers with dogs, because you can take a walk through the nature directly in front of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful in every situation. The food in the restaurant was amazing, also the breakfast was very good. If we’re coming back to Maribor we’ll definitely book this hotel again.
