Our apartment was cosy yet spacious enough for the 4 of us. The indoor pool with warm water is also very nice and excellent for small kids because its only one meter high. The staff allowed us to "steal" a kids chair from the restaurant so we could have our meals upstairs, with our 2 year old. We will surely go back.

Some of the staff were a bit defensive when I asked questions about the food from the restaurant being Gluten Free or not, which is common, I must say. Bare in mind they were always helpful, but didn't seem to understand what I meant straight away.

Friendly, helpful staff. Daily room service. Very clean. Walking distance to shops, bars and the beach. Lots of walks and cycle paths. The train line was useful.Hood sized apartment and balcony.

East facing balcony ( although there are others). Ongoing works at the time meant occasional brown hot water due to rust - hotel apologised for this. Kitchen utensils quite basic but easy to buy extras.G

Very spacious one bedroom apartment , asked for a quiet room and it was, staff were all very helpful and pleasant, nice indoor pool and spa facilities although we never got around to using them as the weather was so sunny and warm , cycle hire shop just down the road, which we used

Nothing negative to say

The place was all right. But as this was a last minute replacement for our cancelled two-bedroom apartment (Foz Atlantida), and this one was a one-bedroom one, I can not give it full marks on everything.

This was a replacement apartment (one-bedroom) we found the sofa-bed a little bit uncomfortable. We only had one bath-room now instead of the original two. As I have a medical condition, this was a nuisance for all of us.

Very good breakfast (value for money). Good room and nice facilities. Perfect for a Sports Tour.

I think they have to work in a bike keeping solution. This is a place for sports tours, and we can't leave our bikes in a common garage. The staff were conscious and help us, but they have to think in a normal solution.

The breakfast

Our room wasn't very warm and clothes were damp. You could only put heating on if you were in the room. As we were out most of the day enjoying ourselves the room was cold on our return. The bed was too hard for me as I have arthritis and prefer a soft bed.

The one bedded apartment end room was clean , comfortable and had two thermostats to manage the aircon ( living area / bedroom). The size of the balcony was excellent and the view over the wooded area / camping site was quite nice. We had breakfast three of the mornings and this was also very good , however I would have liked fresh fruit juices and not “watery concentrate “. The housekeeping service from Tuesday- this morning 11/10/22 was first class and staff should be advised of this compliment please . The additional duvet and pillows were welcome as the mattress is firm however by putting the duvet under the bottom sheet improved this.

The accommodation, staff and stay in general was excellent. If I have to make some constructive comments I would add : As mentioned- breakfast was very good but if you improved the fruit juice to fresh / “not from concentrate “ varieties this would be better. The buffet dinner was disappointing - only ate at the hotel for one dinner meal so maybe we chose the wrong night to eat at the hotel. There was no sanitising solution in the sanitisers outside the lift areas . Ground , second or fourth - didn’t check other floors .

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was good apart from a broken safe. Bed quite comfy if you prefer a more firm bed. Facilities are OK. Food good. Great location and facility to put rental bikes safely.

Room was spacious, modern and well equiped. The spa facilities were also fairly comprehensive and good. The breakfast buffet also looked good as we walked past although we always prefer to eat breakfast out.

I enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was fine fairly poor choice of fruit.

More information re the bar it was inside the restaurant so not sure if it was a separate entity
