I loved my stay at the little guest house. Everything was perfect. A super cozy bed, quiet, air-condition, the garden. The owners/managers take a lot of pride in making you feel comfortable and pay a lot of attention to detail. The breakfast was awesome. This being a small guesthouse I had expected a small offering of breakfast items and was delighted to find out that they had a wonderful selection of local food, fresh fruit, breads and so much more. The setting for breakfast was lovely and one could even have the breakfast in the delightful garden. We used their excellent bikes to get into town which was very convenient as one can't get parking in the old town anyway. But one could have taken the bus from just around the corner as well into town which by the way was free. At other places one pays around Euro 20 per day for parking plus hire of bikes. This was all included in the room price and therefor was very good value for money. I loved staying at this place which was quiet and relaxing, away from the busy inner town and yet just a few minutes by bike or even on foot along the river to the old town.

- The garden is super beautiful with the most beautiful flowers, there are cute bunnies in it that my son was very happy about. - The decoration is gorgeous, the colors are calming, the toilets are beautifully decorated and the toiletry setting is beautify and handy. - My son made himself at home, he was going up and down by himself, he was very comfortable. - The lady and her husband were nice, her husband helped us take the luggage to our room on the second floor ( no elevator ) - Location is very good, the lady owner explained everything and gave us recommendations on where to go, she even called one of the restaurants to try and get us a table, she guided us on where to park because we used our car instead of walk due to the rain, umbrellas provided by the hotel. - The reception/ kitchen area had a coffee machine and cake that was prepared for the guests, which was available 24 hours. - In general the hosts are very sweet and they’ll try and make your stay as pleasant as possible. - Parking at hotel is free

- Beds weren’t so comfortable, we didn’t have a great sleep. - Breakfast didn’t have many selections, and although they are very generous, but because the buffet area is very small, you do get the feeling of the food not being enough to everyone ( it is, they were refilling, but it’s just a feeling ), in conclusion I do recommend you get breakfast in the city nearby.

Everything was wonderful. Rooms were lovely and a decent size, clean and well stocked. Breakfast was delicious, healthy, plentiful and would suit all tastes. Tea, coffee, cake and biscuits were available whenever you wanted or needed a sweet treat. A stocked fridge with wine, beer and other drinks were provided at a cost to your room. The garden was restful and relaxing so after a long day of sightseeing you could enjoy a glass of wine or a coffee with cake and wind down. The staff were exceptional. They were caring, showed great concern and were most helpful especially when l needed help. Cannot speak highly enough of all staff. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

The only fault was the lack of sound proofing. Being close to the garden and front door it was a bit noisey at times.

Close to OldTown Salzburg, only 10 minute walk. Staff incredibly welcoming, friendly and readily available to give suggestions for the area. Breakfast was great, many selections and ready for an early start to the day. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The location was quiet and felt very safe. Plenty of parking for everyone straying there.

I am not have two minor suggestions, one, we would have really liked to have a mini refrigerator in the room to keep drinks cold. Two, it would have been nice to have Netflix available on the tv, for we English speakers who need a little wind down in the evening. Difficult to watch tv in German.

Hospitality is off the charts. Wonderful team. Grounds are gorgeous, food is plentiful and varied, walking distance to decent restaurant/beer garden. Comfortable room. A lovely experience.

The bathtub is retrofitted and is higher than I'm used to. No grab bars for stability. I am 5'0" with arthritic knees and it was a big struggle to safely enter and exit the tub -- the tub was so high that I really had to maneuver to step inside with water running, no internal bath mat to control sliipping, and nothing to hold on to. Recommend grab bars for the seniors!

Loved almost everything about The Little Guesthouse.. The garden location. The rooms were so charming and cozy, but plenty of room. Bathrooms were beautifully tiled and warm. The service was the BEST. The staff was so helpful and truly gave us the best advice. Can't say enough good about the entire experience.

There was really almost nothing that I didn't like. I would only say that it was a bit of distance to town. Would be no problem during other seasons but it was a cold and rather dark walk back at night. And night comes early in Dec! Plenty of taxis but that is an added cost. The location was in a lovely and charming neighborhood and SO perfectly quiet.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for the folk running this superb guest house. As an example, my phone suddenly refused to take a charge. Tina found a repair shop and printed off instructions on how to get there. The phone was fixed very quickly. Fresh, tasty and varied selection of food for breakfast. Coffee and tea on complimentary tap all day, even wine available for a small charge in the evening. The room was bright and airy, fully equipped, clean and made up every day. Location was fine, with a 5-10 minute walk to the bus line into town. Nicely secluded, shady garden, perfect for relaxing in between trips and activities.

Not even worth knocking a point off the score, but the wifi internet reception was patchy in my room, two floors up in a house with very solid walls.

Everything about my stay here was very pleasant. I received a warm welcome, the room was ready and very cosy. A big bathroom, comfortable bed, warm blankets and a relaxing and pleasant room. Breakfast was very tasty, good options, and there are also snacks, tea and coffee available at all times, as well as an honesty bar. The location is excellent - a pleasant walk by the river takes you to the old town. Staff were incredibly helpful and at all times and worked very hard to make everything satisfactory for everyone.

Everything was excellent.

The house is charming. Location is excellent in a safe, quiet residential area, a short pleasant walk away from the old town. Bicycles were available but we walked. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast is good and it was a delight to take it in the pretty garden. The parking is easy.

It is a traditional house and therefore does not have air-conditioning. It was very hot and humid during our stay. We had a fan in the bedroom which helped but was noisy and we did not sleep well. It was better with the window open. Maybe best not to come in July! The final cost was higher than expected but we stayed during the Salzburg festival so no doubt demand was higher then.

Excellent, kind staff throughout the property make this place a Joy. Full of helpful suggestions. The room, though small (I wish there were room for a desk or a cozier chair), had a lovely balcony over the garden with a beautiful view and a great bathroom/shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was modern and spotlessly cleaned every day. It's in a lovely residential neighborhood with great parking (we wish we had driven instead of taking the train; there are so many beautiful places to visit nearby), but it's only a pleasant 10-20-minute walk to the in-town sites. The breakfast was spectacular every morning and could be taken in the garden or the lovely breakfast room downstairs, which doubles as a nice lounge with free drinks and snacks available all other times. Nice for well-behaved kids, as they have a beautiful garden and a pet bunny.

Desk in the room. WiFI was adequate, but not great.
