Everything was wonderful! Location location location! The front desk staff were so kind and amazing! Super helpful!!!

Room spacious, newly renovated, good mattress and bed and very clean. Only one comfortable chair, but appreciated. Renovated bathroom with good shower pressure, good amenities, stirring sticks for coffee and tea missing from tea tray. Good TV selection French and international. Good buffet breakfast and service, fresh orange juice !!

Receptionist switched in between English and French all the time, whereby we live in France and spoke French all the time and he switched half the time to English probably to show off. Offsite parking is difficult, GPS address does not bring you to the entrance, due to closed/one way streets. Driving plan is issued by reception and shown on PC. Valet parking would be better and include € 5.00 for this service and add this to the parking rate of € 13.00, parking is free in low season, but you should charge €10.00 and include valet service. Breakfast feedback; scrambled eggs too liquid, be careful, 3 coffee machines not needed, toaster one half broken. Check coffee quality, cappuccino and american, fresh to cup beans, but not very good quality ?

Perfect location, staff very helpful and accommodated our requests, great communication about the parking situation. The rooms at the back were great, very quiet despite being close to busy bars. Comfortable beds and good amenities.

The breakfast room has great views, but is a little less elegant and the standard is not as great as the rest of the property (paper napkins, a bit lifeless). Breakfast choice is ok but not fantastic - I think it’s because there is no restaurant in the hotel, so there is no salad or vegetables, only eggs, ham and only one type of cheese for example.

The hotel location is superb, the breakfast was very good and the staff were so helpful, even helping us book taxis. If I ever return to La Rochelle I will be staying there again.

Due to maintenance works the swimming pool was not open. That was disappointing. Some minor other points though were there was no safety deposit box and additionally there were three of us sharing a room but sometimes it was only made up for two people.

Perfectly situated opposite La Rochelle marina with lots of options to eat and drink close by. We were glad to have the option to park our car safely. If we had arrived earlier, I would have had a swim. The room was lovely, and we benefitted from having the air con on and the curtains closed (so we didn’t get the view until the following morning) - it was particularly hot. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

The only thing that I would have liked would have been tea/ coffee making facilities in our bedroom, for last thing at night and first thing in the morning. They were available in reception, but not when we were in our pj’s.

Loved blackout blinds, comfortable beds and pillows. Very friendly staff at reception. A week after our stay in this hotel, we were back in la rochelle and had an issue with a taxi we booked. I went back to the hotel for assistance with this, and they were extremely helpful even though we were no longer staying there. We really appreciated this.

The bar and restaurant could be a little more developed and there could be better gluten free options for breakfast but overall, we loved the hotel.

Although I booked this very last minute and late at night, everything was ready for me and check in was smooth on arrival. The room was excellent, stylish and comfortable. The cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was good value, great coffee, good selection of breakfast items on the buffet.

I couldn’t really say there was anything that I didn’t like but one minor issue was finding the car park, The directions were not clear but I eventually found it as it is some distance from the hotel. It is however very safe and secure parking and only €13,

A great location right on the old harbour side in easy reach of a large variety of restaurants. Comfortable room and very helpful and welcoming staff. The swimming pool looked very inviting.

I really really disliked having to hand our room keycard in every time we went out. Apparently this was for security but it felt very controlling and odd.

The entire staff was amazing especially the seasoned man at the front desk. I can't remember names. Also the man running the breakfast offerings. The staff is professional, caring and efficient. I saw them fixing things in addition to their regular duties. Dedicated and kind. I loved the facilities but I think the staff is what makes the hotel top notch. I would go again and recommend the hotel to others. Yes the location is great. I had an inner courtyard room so it was as quiet as you can get being across from the marina. Thank you

The bathroom toilet in the shower area had a slight smell at times but not always. The AC is kept at specific minimum which you have no control over so if you like it real cold it won't happen. The nights cooled down when I was there so it was fine and the pool is fantastic!

Great location. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Greater clarity on room cleaning arrangements. Earlier room cleaning eg not 16.00hrs. A Nespresso type coffee machine would be desirable.
