Breakfast was delicious - lots of choice, good ingredients, nicely cooked The staff were friendly and polite

Too many emails in advance of check-in. Eventually succumbed and replied/responded to some by booking an evening meal at the sister hotel. At the end of the dining experience - none of the details I had entered on line could be found and we paid that evening but at check out I almost ended up paying for this meal twice and without the special package price promised in the email I reserved it through! CRAZY

Enjoyed mostly everything at Murray park. The use of the hydro is such a bonus. Food in the restaurant was very nice, breakfast was mostly lovely. Staff were all pleasant, room was comfortable and large. Location great, not far from town but relatively quiet. Close to the golf course to get a hit or two in, and close to the hydro.

Only deducted one point for minor things. Having a chromecast on the tvs so we could stream movies would be a bonus (obviously an unnecessary luxury though) No toilet paper in room on arrival (fixed with a quick visit to reception though) Light in car park next door shone through window all night (pointed directly at the window lol) but the curtains were thick enough to block a lot.

Clean, comfortable, and modern room and bathroom. Lovely views, friendly and attentive staff, and great food in the restaurant in the evening and at breakfast. Nice cosy bar to relax in. Great that you can access the facilities at the Hydro - thoroughly enjoyed the Victorian baths!

Shower flow was a little slow and seemed to run out of hot water in the evening. However, it seemed a bit better in the morning. Could do with more veggie options on the evening menu 😊

Our room was larger than we expected with a lovely view of the grounds. Well kitted out with dressing gowns , fridge etc. There was also a surprise gift from the hotel as it was my husband’s birthday, thank you so much ! Breakfast was excellent with hot food made to order ! Staff were welcoming and helpful during our stay !We will definitely visit this hotel again!

Perhaps a wider choice of options on the dinner menu . We thought the menu was possibly better on previous visits so we decided to have our evening meal up at the Hydro instead.

Peaceful location, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, clean warm room, helpful staff. Good choice of breakfast food. Restaurant food good. Loved the relaxing lounge bar with log burner. Access to pool facilities at Hydro a bonus.

The standard addition of 10% service fee to the restuarant bill. Prefer to have the choice of whether and how much to tip. Was disappointed there was no table in room, especially as friends room next door which cost exactly the same did have one. . Chairs in room uncomfortable as seat cushions were old/inadequate.

Excellent service from staff throughout our stay. Our rooms were very comfortable and quiet with good en suite facilities. The bar and outside patio area were pleasant places to sit and enjoy a drink. Dinner was lovely with a good choice on the menu. The food was superb. Breakfast was very good with hot food cooked to order, which is great. There was a wide choice of foods for breakfast and we did enjoy what we had. Again, service was excellent. We would definitely return here if we have an opportunity to do so in future.

Can't fault the service or our experience at the hotel.

An excellent hotel. A good size bedroom and a super king-size bed. We were very impressed with the bedroom. Very little noise from inside or outside. Plenty of car parking as we regard that as important. The breakfast was very good with the fried cooked to order. All the staff we saw were excellent.

A very minor irritation but we seemed to get numerous emails from the hotel even after we completed their online registration form.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The room was larger than I expected. Friendly staff. It was sunny when we were there so it was nice to have a lovely outdoor area.

Only drawback was being in a ground floor room next to the outdoor area meant there was a lot of noise from children playing.

Good breakfast - served up promptly and on a warm plate!

I was disturbed by the yapping of a dog in the room above. Owners had evidently left it unattended while they went for a meal. This hotel welcomes dogs so I do not blame the hotel - just the owners for being inconsiderate! Can I suggest that the tables in the dining room are reconfigured when a large party is booked in for dinner. I was dining alone but my table was so close to a party of 15 that they had to push past me to get seated and the waitress had to push past me to serve them. I was most uncomfortable and did not stay for dessert!

The food is excellent. Breakfast is cooked to order and it was really hot. We had dinner three nights out of five. It was lovely on all occasions. The beef bourguignon was amazing. The room was big and the bed was really comfy. Fresh milk and water in the fridge for the coffee and tea. Busy hotel and restaurant with a great bar. 21 rooms.

All the emails that kept coming beforehand regarding the cleaning, booking in, booking dinner etc. I'm sorry to say that they really got on my nerves, especially the cleaning ones.
