Lovely old style hotel, great spacious room but en suite toilet was a wet room with no bath and set up as a disabled wheelchair access toilet which meant that the sink was very low but perfectly adequate. The staff were excellent and very helpful, prices were very reasonable although we were half board which was great but we were restricted to £25.00 per person at dinner and anything over was charged as extra which was fair enough but should be made aware of when booking. Also dog friendly which is great for us with no restrictions where you can take your pet. Overall a great location, a lovely hotel at very reasonable prices.

We were travelling by motorcycle and had picked this place for location primarily, it's a nice quiet country hotel and the price was really good. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and receptionist was an absolute gem, sorted out two tired bikers, got us booked for dinner and we had a lovely evening. Room was great, breakfast was Scottish with a great selection on the buffet but I went full Scottish. Perthshire is lovely and the hotel reflected this. The shower was the best shower I have EVER had in any hotel in my life, absolute epic pressure levels.

It's an old hotel, bit of a retro vibe and probably due a refit but this honestly added to the charm. Bossy boss woman walking about picking fault with stuff killed the vibe at breakfast - have your meetings in private!

The staff were all friendly and helpful, the food was well prepared and tasty and overall the hotel had a relaxing atmosphere. The grounds were beautiful and we loved the country location.

The bathroom in our room was a bit tired and could do with an upgrade and a bit of a rearrangement of the facilities. The toilet was placed very close to the wall and combined with the location of the loo roll holder made it impossible for me to sit properly on the seat and even my wife who is a lot smaller than me found it awkward. The hot water tap on the basin was loose but did not leak. There was ample space in the bathroom to move the wash basin and loo a few inches to make the facilities more user friendly.

The hotel is a great environment for a relaxed and quiet stay just outside Perth. There is plenty of parking space provided. The rooms are clean, cozy, and bright. Heavy curtains provide almost perfect darkness if desired. The bathroom has everything one might need and is in great condition. Even robes and slippers are provided (as well as the usual towels, toiletries, etc.). The restaurant area is well maintained and the quality of the food is good. Dinner at the hotel is around GBP 20 for a main dish. Breakfast is pretty good as well, consisting of a limited cold buffet and a choice of warm dish (e.g., traditional full Scottish breakfast).

Loved it was a stand alone Hotel outside the main part of town, with beautiful grounds and community walking paths. Great food at every meal. Great staff, the Conservatory was beautiful and relaxing.

Didn't like that upon arrival we were told not only there is no lift to our room but it was on the top floor, so the idea of lugging suitcases up 5 flights of stairs. Once in our room it was sad to see it needed some love, paint peeling and a bathroom for handle waiting to fall off. The "Boutique " needs some maintenance and love in my opinion. Can't take my pics off this review added one by mistake...

The check in staff were lovely, and the room exceeded my expectations- it is big, spotlessly clean and the shower worked well. A great walk along the river almond was a lovely start to the morning.

The food and service at dinner - really not great. They were out of a couple of the choices (which is fine) but my Korean chicken came with a huge pile of tasteless, soggy rice, some doughy chicken balls (KFC would have been better) and was swimming in water from the rice - not good. I also had to ask at least twice for my wine.

The hotel was set in lovely surroundings. The room was spacious and had a nice view. The check in/out, was seamless. Plenty of onsite parking.

The food was very basic. The booking was half board, which included up to £50 for two people for the evening meal Main courses were on average, around £18, therefore if you wanted a second course you would have to pay extra. It was a benefit for the hotel either way. My friend did not eat her evening meal, due to it being overcooked, so I paid £50 in effect for macaroni. Despite not eating this or the poorly cooked breakfast in the morning, she was not offered an alternative. This spoilt what was otherwise a lovely break.

It was a very comfortable stay. The bed was big, the room was kitted out nicely. The communal spaces were lovely and sociable. Nice to sit with our baby and have a coffee or meet with our family for a nice dinner. The breakfasts were organised and a nice spread with plenty options. The staff were all very personable and approachable, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The event that was thrown for us was also extremely well prepared and we couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere.

It could do with a bit of updating to freshen it up a bit but no issues with our stay at all. Also the pillows were a bit hard (personally in our room), but that’s not a huge deal.

Breakfast was good , Dinner was very good . The staff were amazing , everyone of them but in particular Tracy , Keith and Tiana . I was so well looked after from start to finish to the extent it was over and above the call of duty .

Sadly was disappointed to find that a green Tee shirt was part of Leonarda 's uniform . Only one staff member chose to wear the company Tee shirt , the rest were dressed very tidy and smart .

We loved how peaceful it was, the room was big and comfortable, we extended our check out by an hour at the cost of £10 so that we could relax a little longer. Tea and coffee in our room with a biscuit in the morning was needed after a few bottles of wine the evening before. We enjoyed our meal of steak and chips and in the morning there was a great choice of hot and cold options for breakfast. There are plenty of comfortable options to sit throughout the hotel around the bar and the chap working the bar was super friendly. Such a nice guy and nothing seemed a bother to him. The receptionists in the evening and in the morning were both so friendly and helpful. Welcomed us with a smile and paid attention to us unlike other places we've visited. I felt the staff overall really did make us feel at home. The bar staff gave us an ice bucket for our bottle of prosecco we brought from home to enjoy in our room too! Overall I would recommend staying and we know we will return again soon because we loved every minute and have returned home feeling refreshed.

Starters are a bit overpriced for portion size. Waiter asked if we wanted the menu for dessert but never brought it to us so we didn't try the desserts. Room 402 had mould around the shower head and cracked sink. Questionable stain on carpet at the sofa.
