I stayed here for 4 nights. My first night was not great as the bed was so uncomfortable and shower pressure was next to non existent. HOWEVER, I asked about the shower and extra pillows at reception and the staff could not have been more helpful!! I was moved room with better pillows and shower. Breakfast every day was good with plenty variety. The room and bathroom were spotless. Would highly recommend.

The porridge and beans at breakfast were scalding hot, had to wait a few minutes before eating. Could be dangerous for kids being this hot. However appreciate food is better hot than cold.

On arrival all you could see was a load of chairs pilled up at the window made me think omg what is this to find we checked in next door the hotel was very nice but we were staying next door to a house closed down but like I said new bedding bathroom was in a room 2 doors down from our room it was our private bedroom but didn't like the walking past others as returning to our room I'm glad it was only 1 night wouldn't of stayed the more than that breakfast was next door it was ok the normal we had our tea there as was a Indian we didn't eat it I guess not the same as our home food and there was only 1 lad doing restaurant and bar and reception so took 3 hours for us to eat .

Our room was clean, warm with plenty of storage for our clothes,tea and coffee was provided and daily housekeeping is provided, we had an en suite toilet/shower which was very spacious with lovely warm fluffy towels, the breakfast choices are fantastic served by friendly helpful staff, free WiFi is also provided, everything about our stay was great, we will definitely book here again on our next visit

Everything was great, we had no complaints or problems, we filled in our menu choices the night before and we could choose what time we wanted it, so much better than being given a 7.30 to.9.30 time slot, your table was ready with your room number on it

Location is fantastic..just minutes from the centre of perth Stayed in room 5,which had a fantastic renovation.all very modern and loved the rainfall shower Bed was super comfy and slept well Breakfast was very good with a choice of continental and cooked It"s in the indian restaurant,which looks good,as does the grampian hotel

Once they finish off the renovations in heidi guesthouse..it will look fab.wasn"t a problem The view is of a very high fence,but wasn"t there to stay in the room

A newly refurbished room, clean an bright and smelt nice. Modern fittings in the bathroom. Good breakfast. Friendly staff and a very good price. Very near to the train station which was handy for me.

As its being renovated the rooms had no numbers on which was a little confusing. Would have liked a bedside table and lamp and another table for the tea making facilities as these were in front of the TV, but this may be something that hasn't yet been completed because of the renovations.

Excellent customer service with very friendly staff. A wide choice of breakfast items. I had my even meal at the hotel - I was recommended a traditional Nepalese curry - it was delicious! Overly generous portion sizes, so couldn’t finish but very tasty. Great location - It’s a nice 10min stroll into the city centre.

I didn’t like that my private bathroom was next door to my room, however, I did book in haste, as it was a quick stop over due to a family bereavement. The bathroom itself was fine, clean, no issues - just a personal preference.

Superb stay! Extremely comfortable rooms with a handy sink and then a spotless private bathroom right next door. Fantastic meal in their restaurant, authentic Nepalese food served by super friendly guys. You must stay and eat here, it was so much more than I was expecting. Delicious cooked breakfast too, you won't go hungry. The customer service is excellent, thanks so much for carrying my bag yesterday Harry. Five minute walk into the city centre. I found an easy parking space right out the front. Bar next door.

Not knowing in advance that you have to check in next door at The Balmoral. Initially off-putting seeing tables and chairs piled up in the Heidl dining room but ignore that and just go next door as directed on the notice on the front door

The room is very comfortable. The single bed is very comfortable in size, and the double also accommodates two people with flexibility. The bedding is very clean and there are many towels in the room. In general, the room is very comfortable for three people. We got three bottles of bottled water and also a water boiler and a lot of coffee, tea and sugar. Within minutes the room was received with very cheerful and smiling staff The breakfast was delicious and the location is very close to the center, five minutes walk. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Perth.

No lift

The room and bathroom were newly renovated and very clean and comfortable. Great shower, heated towel rail and warm air blower in the bathroom. The Indian/Nepalese restaurant in the adjacent Grampian hotel was outstanding and very reasonably priced. Good full Scottish breakfast (included) is served in the same restaurant. The property is about 1/4 mile from the town centre. The staff were efficient and friendly.

Unlike the room, the entrance and lower floor of the guest house were a little dingy and in need of renovation. But don’t let that put you off, this place was exceptional value.

The room was spacious and clean with a private bathroom across the hall, great location - 5 minute walk from the train station, very close to the centre. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was provided at the restaurant next door, with hot options pre-ordered the night before, or you could just help yourself to coffee from the bean to cup coffee machine, dairy and oat milk, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cereal and toast.

The entrance hall smelled like smoke, fortunately our room didn't.
