All well Breakfast lovely.

Singing waitress, lovely singing, but not so loud during breakfast please!!! Dressing table light blew up during the night, smoke and lingering plastic smell, hoped to get room change the next day, but did not get offer of this when I reported the incident and said about lingering smell also. I had to open windows wide for smoke to escape at 3am during night. Very frightening!! Smell was still there for the 2 days.Amazed fire alarm did not go off!!

For the price I can't fault this hotel, booked a 1 night stay in a twin room with a friend to go to a concert and it was perfect. Slightly old fashioned decor but gives it an old world charm. The cleaning was the main thing that exceeded my expectations, it was scrupulous and bed was comfortable. It also has a nice little bar I've been in on other occasions and staff seemed friendly.

Perfect location for bus station & a few mins walk to town centre Hotel was spotless , staff were great room we had was a great size spacious and had everything you needed . Breakfast was very good & had all you required from Cereals , Fruit juice , full cooked breakfast with toast & tea/coffee .A fantastic hotel in a perfect location would definitely recommend tofamily & friends

Nothing to dislike

A nice comfortable bed and very warm and cosy (even with the window open). I appreciated the trouser press and iron in the room. The hotel.was very convenient for the rail and bus stations which was great as I do not drive.

There were no.cooked breakfasts on monday and tuesday of my stay which was disappointing.

the shower in my room was horrendous and there was dust all along the headboard of the bed which makes me wonder just how thoroughly the rooms are cleaned

Iron & ironing board in room. Nice breakfast,although didn't have any potato cones on the last day. Helpful staff. Adjacent car park.

Rooms were hot with no fans or air conditioning so had to leave windows open, which let in sounds from the station. The floor boards in the bathroom creaked and you could people moving around up stairs.

Helpful friendly staff and good location. Competitive price for a hotel with a restaurant and leisure facilities. Unfortunately neither were open due to COVID but I would return in the future if this changed. Lots of hot water and good shower pressure with good supply of towels and pillows available in the room. Good tasty breakfast which was also good value.

The accommodation is traditional and somewhat dated.

Meant to have restaurant but not open at this time, asked about somewhere to eat and told to go to city centre, I chose the hotel across the road and had great food. I think £7 to park overnight is a lot but can understand. Place is looking old and could do with a lot of work but I assume COVID is a reason it won’t happen.

Have stayed here on many occasions the hotel is comfortable , clean and the staff are very pleasant & helpful . It is very central for bus station and a few mins walk to town centre

Check in was a breeze, staff were prepared for our arrival. Very friendly staff that I couldn't fault at all. Although dated, the room and beds were spotless.

It felt dated inside the room, however it was an overnight stay so didn't really bother us.
