Location was great as we were going to Game Fair. We have eaten here before but this was the first time we had stayed. Staff were friendly. Room was lovely and clean, looked like they had maybe had been refurbished. Only suggestion is maybe replace the mirror with a long mirror.

When we arrived there was only one member of staff on, running about doing everything and we had to wait at times but she kept us informed and was really lovely and friendly (great asset to the hotel) so we didn't mind 😊 Breakfast again was a bit disjointed as only one member of staff on but food was lovely so no real issue.

Better communication about how the hotel worked and that we would not be able to access public areas outside of licensing hours would gave helped, but this was made up for by a wonderful, thoughtful manageress. Not enough parking at weekends

Location was perfect for visiting our friends. Friendly welcome, good food and extras in rooms were lovely, shower gel, soaps, variety of Teas and Coffees, water and a small fridge, shortbread and even nice robes. Even got an on site salon for hair. Despite having on site bar, no noise could be heard in the room, this might be different when live music is on. Dogs also welcome in bar area.

Nothing not to like, although if we’d known it was only us for breakfast we probably would have chosen to go elsewhere as we woke early but had booked it for 10 and paid, but not a fault of hotel.

Excellent accommodation. Large room. Was good having a fridge in my room with really fast Internet. Massive comfy bed and the food in the evening was really.good.

The bathroom had been cleaned but someone had left a parcel for me in the toilet. I was not impressed. A quick flush and all good. Certainly was not expected. Breakfast needs to be a bit better. Asked for poached eggs but they did not know how to make them. I got "scrambled egg" which definitely were not scrambled. Side plates needed for toast and butter should be available on the table.

Seating at vanity unit in bedroom, no support as middle of seat collapse when you sit on it. Bathroom, no mirror to shave Unit in Bath room for toiletry poor quality There is no shelf above the sink. In the bedroom could do with either 2 good chairs or 2 seater couch if you want to watch TV. All the above points don't detract the quality of the hotel but would be better if these were in place. We would re visit again.

Beautifully decorated. Clean. Friendly staff. The veggie breakfast provided. Slept well.

Coffee could have been fresher and warmer. Little choice for breakfast. We had to pay extra (£10.95pp) because we booked through booking.com. No muesli, berries or soft fruits.

I asked for a low floor if no lift as I have a hip problem and it was allocated on the ground floor and with an accessible bathroom so all credit to them for being thoughtful. we ate dinner and the portions are so substantial we could no only manage Sartre and main course. Food is excellent and well priced with food service. Breakfast before leaving covers all aspects including Normal, Vegan, Gluten Free. in all a very good hotel for a relaxing stay whether one night or more.

Small (few guests = quiet) with restaurant and bar onsite. Incredibly kind and helpful staff. Off-street parking. Easy check-in. Super comfortable bed, and the room even provided a desk with a chair! Delicious breakfast (ordered and paid for night before). Overall, it’s a good value for the money.

Nothing about the property, but I did wake up to what sounded like kegs of beer being delivered and dragged up and/or down the stairs. Very noisy. Guess it was delivery day! Can’t really do much about that.

An excellent pub and accommodation in Scone. Very comfortable room and excellent food.

It was noisy if the fire door wasn't closed. We were there on a Saturday night and it was very quiet with the door closed but each time it opened, there was considerable noise.

The breakfast was the only thing that let the hotel down. The scrambled eggs were all wet and runny ( not edible) I expected them to be soft and fluffy but they were wet and soggy. Sausages were very pale and undercooked. Everything else was fine. I told the girl on breakfast to relay the info on the eggs back to the chef, as I would like to stay again.

Pity about The fridge in the bedroom kept us awake buzzing all night.
