The hotel is located towards the outskirts of Perth, and having booked a room with a hill view, we had a lovely view from the window. There was plenty of tea and coffee available in the room, the swivel chair was a bonus, and the shower nice and warm and clean, although it took a few minutes to heat up. The dining room was interesting, with a tree growing in the middle, which we really liked, and plenty of booths and tables. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, I couldn't praise them enough, and I was even allowed to borrow the book in my room so I could finish it on holiday.

The beans at breakfast could have been a bit warmer.

The hotel is excellent value. Having read comments/reviews I had slightly low expectations, and the rooms/building of the hotel is very dated. However the beds are perfectly comfortable, the room more spacious than a Premier Inn type, toiletries and bottled water was included. And then a breakfast including cereal, fresh juice, bread/toast/rolls and cooked breakfast. The breakfast setup is small but it covers all the usual bases and for that to be included for the price I paid is excellent value.

The building we stayed in, next door to the main, was very dated and slightly daunting to walk into - the first perception is pretty poor! But once you're in the doors and into your room and get past the old-fashioned decor, this is actually a really convenient and good value hotel.

Staff were all excellent, really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was really nice but stopped serving at 9am which is a bit early for the weekend. Shower was really good but like cracking a safe to get the temperature right. Comfy room and bed.Didn't get on very well trying to get through the keyfob operated door but scanned the QR code in it and sent a WhatsApp message and a member of staff appeared to help in less than 2 minutes, every hotel should have this! Plenty of parking. Easy to find. Will be staying again. Easy to recommend.

We had an unplanned overnight stay due to my partner’s sudden health issue while travelling from Scotland to England. The hotel kindly provided us with our rooms earlier than the usual check-in time because of the emergency. They even prepared a special meal tailored to my partner’s dietary needs, as he has serious intestinal problems. The staff were the kindest and most caring we have ever met in our lives. Their professionalism, empathy, and willingness to help made a difficult situation much easier for us. We are truly grateful and will never forget their outstanding hospitality.

For £89.10 for one night for 2 people including buffet cooked breakfast this is a great value hotel. Room was good size, quiet and clean with bath/shower ensuite and bottled water provided. Breakfast had good selection of hot and cold food which was replenished when staff were asked. Staff at reception and breakfast were friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking spaces in hotel carpark. Short walk into town or a bus stop just opposite hotel made it a great base to explore Perth.

Bed was standard double and hard in our opinion. Shower was difficult to set temperature, going from cold to boiling hot at the slightest touch of the taps. Breakfast fried eggs were seriously overcooked even when fresh batch bought from kitchen. All in all nothing seriously wrong for the price.

Staff are amazing, very friendly, helpful and chatty. Room was fine, we had the small standard room 203. It was clean, fresh and comfy. Remote didn't work but staff member came up and showed us how to work it. Food in restaurant is simple good honest food. We had the beef/ chicken kebab and it was presented beautiful. Tasted lovely. Decent price too. It's a short walk from PRI and that was a godsend.

I don't think there is anything to dislike, it's a comfortable simple overnight solution for Perth Royal Infirmary.

Great location, within minutes to centre of town. Clean and tidy hotel although it needs a bit of decorating in areas. Sarah (General manager) was very helpful with any query or information required.

Heating is operated by electric radiator and when we switched on the plug it made a funny buzzing noise. Luckily it was warm enough in the room so didn't have to use it. Fire alarm went of in middle of the night. All residents evacuated but no staff member present. Only allowed back into the building when 1 resident rang the hotel doorbell to get attention and ask if everything was okay. Turns out the alarm set off by mistake due to night porter hoovering!!!! 10 minutes later it went off again.

Sarah and her staff are lovely people. Our room was ideal for 2 kids and 2 adults. Plenty space and very comfortable beds. Ideal location for exploring Perth.

Just a couple of small things. The beds for us were wrong way round. So we pushed the 2 single beds together and gave the twins the double bed through in the annexe. There is no shower gel or shampoo in the room either. And my only big complaint was no proper coffee for breakfast. I need a proper strong coffee in a morning, not a sachet from Aldi.

Location great for an overnight visiting family party close to town centre value for money friendly staff on reception & bar . You can clearly see they are doing it up little by little and making great improvements bedroom clean & tidy

Standard double room very basic and small bed uncomfortable but really just somewhere to sleep was disturbed twice 2am & 4am by people heading to their rooms next to us had to sit up on bed to drink our tea only chair & dressing table for 1 to sit at breakfast was good apart from rubbery fried eggs I would suggest scrambled eggs!!!!

The meals were exceptional on both nights as well as the very polite and attentive staff. The fillet steak was great and only £24 and the fish was more like a whale and also brilliant well worth the tip we gave. The location is around 15 mins walk to the centre. There is plenty of parking which was also great. the room is not the ritz but was fine with a view out the large window

Just a niggle that the fried eggs were were dry and no yolk as i do like a runny egg but other than that tiny wee moan great.
