The staff were absolutely lovely - they were so friendly and helpful. We were both unwell, and on one morning of our stay my wife was feeling so unwell that we needed to call an ambulance. Staff immediately actioned that, met the paramedics, assisted my wife's private removal from the hotel, supported me while she was in hospital and generally did everything they could to make my situation easier. They were kind, compassion and supportive. Extra pillows appeared within minutes when requested on her return and everything was done to make her comfortable The breakfast and dinner was delicious and the barman/server was very useful in giving advice about the menu/matching wines. The room was large, pleasant and comfortable. The shower/bathroom was modern, large and very clean. The ambiance was warm and cosy. This hotel is highly recommended.

The hotel was initially very hard to find. The address provided is for the rear of the hotel, and to people completely unfamiliar with the area, the directions were confusing. When driving down the road, the signage is easy to overlook [we overshot and had to turn around] and the sign is not particularly large making the hotel entry rather difficult to find. The entry is on Kings Place just before St Leonard's Bridge.

We stayed here as our friends had a wedding at Rossie on the Glen. The hotel is a beautiful old building which is modern inside and only a 5 minute walk from the train station and centre of town. We had a big double room with a massive comfortable bed, built in wardrobe, dressing table and big shower room. All very clean. There were lots of mirrors which was a bonus getting ready for the wedding, especially the mirror at the window of the shower room. The full Scottish breakfast was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend the hotel!

Location was great. Overlooking South Inch and less than 3 mins walk to the station. Free parking. Really nice and comfortable rooms. We got there early with the main hope we would be able to park our car while we had an event to attend to. Not only did they let us park, but the room hadn’t had any guests in the night before, so we were able to check in at around Mid day. Overall great little hotel and really nice staff. Didn’t use the bar or restaurant except for one morning when we had breakfast, so can’t comment on the evening atmosphere.

The hotel breakfast and evening meal were both very good. The owner and his staff are very friendly.

My only criticism was the fee for my dogs. £30 is the most I have ever paid anywhere! They are both very small, non moulting and not allergic to other people! They don't even smell like dogs and they have their own bed. So £20 for the two would have been more acceptable. In most cases when the hotel charge a fee for dogs they will provide you with a water bowl at least!

Breakfast was good. You filled out what you wanted the night before and the time you were coming down. The staff were very attentive, making sure you had everything you needed. We had dinner on the 2 nights we stayed and It was delicious. It was very central to the city centre. Can not recommend this hotel enough. The staff a very cheery and friendly they could not so enough to make your stay enjoyable.

There is nothing I did not like.

The hotel is very convenient to the rail station… A 10 minute walk. The garden in the back was beautiful… During our visit, most of the flowers were in bloom.

We were thankfully, on the second floor as the floor in our room was extremely creaky. We attempted to try to not make too much noise for our neighbours underneath us. When we came to the dining room for our breakfast, we were looking at the tables to choose one to sit at, and the gentleman who was working said to us when we were looking at a table that wasn’t set for breakfast, that that was not one of the table set for breakfast and said “The wine glasses on it was the first clue.” We thought that was extremely rude and didn’t fit with the vibe (and price) of the hotel or the other staff who were very polite and accommodating. Our breakfast was okay.

Very spacious , clean and comfortable bedroom and very friendly, helpful staff. Easy walk into the centre of Perth. Also very useful to have free car parking at the hotel this close to a city centre.

The hotel address refers to the road behind the hotel so Google maps took me there, missing the signage on the main road. It took some time to locate myself and see the signage on the main road! An extra sign at the rear of the hotel might be beneficial .

Close to station, room clean, nothing too much trouble, staff very friendly and pleasant . Evening meals very good and good to see vegetarian/ pescatarian options available…..beetroot risotto delicious !

Didn’t have breakfast as too expensive, I only have a light breakfast but no prices to accommodate that, also felt small bottles of water should be free in room, other hotels offer this as part of the package. Shame I didn’t have a good view!

The location is perfect - right next to the park. The beer garden is beautiful and you can sit and look out over the park. You wouldn't think you were in the centre of Perth. The staff are friendly, approachable and very helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Staying here is so much better than a modern chain hotel. It is full of character and the people really care if you have a good visit.

There was a bit of noise from the room next door as the sound proofing between the rooms wasn't perfect. Not the worst I've experienced though. I wish the curtains had been thicker. The sun rose at about 4am and the curtains didn't black it out.
