The bedroom was lovely, decor in bedroom is fab, staff were also lovely. A very cute little village in fife. The sauna and pool was a bonus. Tea, water and shortbread in bedroom is a lovely touch.

Overall the cleanliness of the reception area and decor was a little dated. Totally respect it is not long open - but could do with some changes to make it more modern/fresher. Also noted the other remarks on the curtains - a simple fix would be to change the position of the poll. Used jumpers to hide the light and chair to push curtain up against window - for anyone in future.

We had a nice stay overall the staff were all really nice, we had requested an extra bed at booking but they gave us a cot but this was resolved within a couple hours of us arriving. There was a nice touch with a welcome gift with my name on it. The bed was comfy and both my partner and child can't stop speaking about how good the pillows were. They were still working on the lesuire facilities when we stayed but we did still have access to use the pool and gym so was not a massive issue we just had to change in our room. The continental breakfast selection was quite small but we were told that they were hoping to have restaurants open soon which will be good. We would definatley go back.

Comfortable bed, good sized room, nice touches on arrival being bottles of water & biscuits for 2 people.

The room wasn't made up after any of the 5 nights that we stayed. Mentioned this to the receptionist on leaving, she apologised & said she would speak to the cleaning staff. Also, we had a room that overlooked the car park & there are large outside lights on the wall. We like a dark room at night & the light shines through the large curtain holes. The property is currently undergoing refurbishment so no restaurant available, didn't have breakfast here which I believe was continental. Despite these niggles would stay here again.

The hotel is in a good location for travelling around Fife. Free car park. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfy. We got free bottled water on arrival. The staff were friendly. They have a good bar on-site, along with a gym, indoor pool etc.. For a very small cost, the continental breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

The hotel doesn’t appear to be fully finished since they opened a week ago. A few tweaks needed here and there. The shower was very poor, towels are poor quality (with some staining), bathroom and wardrobe doors unpainted, no bath mat, toilet brush or bulb in bedside table. Small issues that can be fixed easily.

the staff were friendly and helpful, the Hotel Room was spacious and comfortable and the Pool facilities were great. Lots of work being done on the Hotel and sure it will be excellent once completed and the restaurant is opened. Excited to go back.

The pool changing room floors were a bit muddy, I appreciate this is due to people with muddy shoes etc. Continental Breakfast was okay but the room was in the middle of most of the work being done, there was a lack of clean glasses and spoons etc. although we were often quite late down. .

The facilities were excellent , bed was so comfy it was really relaxing and peaceful, the staff were attentive nothing was a bother, the meal was top notch so compliments to the chefs for a lovely breakfast and the extra toast as well 😁 the place has been opened again for only 8 weeks and it was nice to speak to the owner and he asked what they could improve on so that was nice to give him a wee bit of feedback all in all we had a great stay and would definitely return, keep up the good work guys 👌

No fridge

Very helpful staff - from reception to cleaning staff. Lovely light room; very quiet even when they had functions; very comfortable bed. Great location for exploring Fife. Very close to Falkland Palace where Hubby had arranged to play Real Tennis (lovely bunch of people) Good value - we didn't have time to use the pool etc but it was included in the price.

Wish list: a second bedside table for phone/clock or glass of water. Somewhere to put toiletries in the bathroom - shelf unit or cupboard.

We were greeted by Dian, who went above and beyond to help us with our luggage. My daughter also left her stuffed dinosaur in the restaurant, and Bonnie rang us to let us know she'd found it and made sure it got back to us. She was also immensely helpful during breakfast and more. We also enjoyed the pool and had a nice evening meal too.

I didn't let the hotel know that I've got a bad leg and we were at the top of the stairs, which were a bit of a trek as there's no lift.
