Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The member of staff who welcomed us was friendly and helpful. It was great to have a kettle, tea, coffee and water provided in the room. Fresh towels were provided daily and there were complimentary vials of shower gel, shampoo and small soaps provided. We booked a table in the attached restaurant and had a lovely meal there.

There was constant traffic noise as our room overlooked the road but it didn't bother us too much. We could also hear the bathroom fan in a neighbouring room when it was switched on.

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to Edinburgh also only a 10 minute drive to an amazing coastal walk. The hotel itself has obviously been refurbished recently. The rooms are fresh, spacious and airy with a great effort in cleanliness and hygiene. The restaurant is pleasant with a great menu more focused on a variety of Nepalese cuisine but also European dishes. The added bonus to this is that they also offer a great takeout menu which they will deliver to your room. The price of food and stay at the hotel is very reasonable. The staff are by far the best people we have come across throughout the many different hotels we have stayed in this year so far. I look forward to our 3rd booking at the hotel in the near future.

It was easy to locate and reach after a long drive from Braemar. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The people running the place were very kind and friendly. We had booked this place after reading that the host runs a restaurant which has both Indian and Nepalese food on the menu and the food was as delicious as they appeared on the pictures. The price of all items on the menu are very reasonable and because of the tasty food that we enjoyed on the first night we returned the next evening for dinner on our way back home. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone and I will definitely be returning back to taste the nice food.

Very pleasant and cozy hotel. Clean and comfortable. The hotel is run by a Nepali family, which gives it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is a lovely restaurant downstairs serving delicious Nepali cuisine at very reasonable prices. Great location for nature lovers. Not far from the beach where we even saw real wild seals.

If you can add a small shelf inside the shower cabin, it will be much more comfortable. Would be great to have extra pillows and blanket in the wardrobe.

Felt lucky to have found this place: excellent value, lovely staff, good bathroom with nice toiletry supplies, very good tea and coffee-making supplies, excellent selection of TV channels, and best of all an amazingly good Nepalese restaurant on site. I love my food and have eaten Indian and Nepalese food extensively and the chicken biryani I had here was the best ever. They also have Nepalese beer on draught (Everest). The room was cold when we arrived; I mentioned this and they instantly upped the heat to the perfect level. Just to say again, the staff were really, really nice.

Nothing we actually didn't like as such. The room is quite small and has a few strange features: there is no plug socket near the kettle so you have to balance it by on the small bedside locker; there is no curtain on the bathroom window (yes, it is quite high up but it still feels strange when you get out of the shower, we hung a scarf over the window), and a toilet brush is usually a default in a hotel or AirBNB today. But these were very minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Nice hotel in a quiet village, not far from St. Andrews. The room was clean and well equipped. Bed was comfortable. The rooms are above a Nepali/Indian restaurant, we had dinner there and we enjoyed it. The village is on the Fife coastal path between East Wemyss and West Wemyss, there is the possibility of a nice walk with castle views.

The room and the bathroom were a bit small. Places for luggage and clothes were a bit limited.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, was able to stream own Netflix on TV. Free tea/coffee and water. Staff very helpful.

Bathroom window had no blind and looked straight into street (admittedly at an angle where I don't believe anyone could look in), but would feel more comfortable with it covered. Decor a little bit tired in places (some wallpaper just starting to lift). Found 10am check out on a Sunday a bit early. Feel the room was over priced for what it was.

Perfect location, very quiet area. The Shimla Dining restaurant was also very nice and the food was fresh and delicious Our room was very clean, tidy and the bed was very comfortable. We also had mugs, a kettle and supplies for tea / coffee, but we were missing spoons on the first and second night, however the hotel staff realised and provided them while cleaning our room on the third day. The room was also cleaned and tidied daily and the heating worked perfectly.
