After reading mostly poor reviews we were apprehensive about our stay, however for 60 quid you can't expect the Ritz. Outside is not that appealing but reception was clean and tidy albeit a bit tired, the receptionist was kindly and helpful at check in. Our room again a bit tired looking was clean and fresh with an open window on a nice sunny day. The toilet was also clean and as advised by the receptionist only had one towel but more were due from the cleaners and would be taken to our room later. We almost immediately left for a function but on our return, fresh towels were in place, The room was quiet and the bed comfortable All in all if you want a cheap no frills place for the night you can't go far wrong here and we wouldn't hesitate to return

First stay here the room faced away from busy road to the rear of the property and was upstairs felt private and was comfortable. Reception staff were lovely, well mannered, informative, accommodating and happy to help. Check out was easy and hassle free. Good value for money.

Second time staying here the room allocated was downstairs facing the front of the property towards the busy road and didn’t feel very private. Although ear plugs were provided the room wasn’t very peaceful. The window was next to the main entrance facing the subway fast food restaurant in the carpark. The directions here aren’t very good however once found it is very easy to access. Carpark entrance has some very large and deep potholes not suitable for performance vehicles. After first stay being so pleasant I was disappointed by the dryness of the reception staff this time round and she wasn’t welcoming at all. There’s a lot to be said for service with a smile especially after a long journey.

Liked the light switches, very handy

Minor criticism Needs more small milks Didn’t realise breakfast wasn’t included but ok then , it can be too much in the mornings Bought my own milk for tea and coffee Noticed toilet wasn’t secure!! Baths were a little narrow and therefore too curved to stand comfortably in But adequate

This is a cheap hotel(maybe the cheapest in Dundee). The staff were excellent and made sure my pregnant wife was comfortable providing extra pillows etc.

Difficult to fault them.

In town where you can easily pay over 100.00 pounds this was an amazing price. We have been on vacation for 2 weeks England and stayed in 13 different hotels and this one is in the top 10% . We will be back this way in a week and will definitly stay here again. All the staff were so friendly and gave us lots of advise of where to visit which made our stay even better.

That we couldent of found more hotels on our travels that were at this wonderful price and staff. Anything we asked for they gave it to us immediatly. I can tell you about some of the other hotels that we did not like that did not even come close to this hotel.

It is budget and not pretending to be anything else. Easy to access and has parking.

A little tired looking but not a massive problem

Perfect location for us on the main road just outside of Dundee. The price was excellent and my expectations were exceeded. Staff were excellent and check-in/check-out was very easy - especially as we checked in late. Room was comfortable, a bit tired, but clean. Bed was comfortable and the room was nice and warm. It was surprisingly quiet.

Can't think of anything really negative. Yes, I could pick holes but for the money it was great value.

Staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Location next to the park on quiet roads, but within easy reach of the city amenities, was ideal for us. Cleanliness and comfort were, as you would expect, perfect. The facilities were all we needed and we couldn't expect more for this "value for money" accommodation. I will definitely look out for the Go2 option when seeking accommodation in future.

I couldn't fault the place.

Very welcoming. Some hotels and hostels make me feel on edge but the staff here are very friendly and there is a nice "vibe" about this place. Very relaxed. I have my dog, cat and guinea pig with us. Easy access to M&S shop across the road. Subway right across the car park. Aldi, asda etc just 2 min drive down the road if you need food shopping. Place is surrounded by nature (camperdown park at the back). Very accessible. I have been here 3 night.. just booked another 2! Big rooms. Plenty of space. Great shower!!!!

This was just a room for me to base my activities around. It was perfectly located. The room was very clean. The decor is dated and the carpet worn but I didn't care. It was very clean. The hotel was very quiet as well all in all perfect for me.

The car park is shared with The Subway customers and it was just a mess of wrappers and was a busy car park.
