Lovely place, friendly staff , beautiful room and the shower was amazing! The only thing was I noticed a little mould on the shower sealant! ( but I’ve just redone my shower sealant so probably why I noticed! ) but I’ll definitely stay again and know to book straight from the hotel! Thank you

The price of the Taxi! Even though the taxi driver was extremely personable! We had a good chat but £30 for 6.5 miles was a bit much ! Maybe get an arrangement with the taxi company! But overall it was lovely and the cost with the Taxi was still £ 50. Cheaper than the next closest hotel! Thank you I was really happy with my experience!

A lovely property accessed by outside steps which was beautifully clean. Having a group booking I was able to have a nosey around most of the rooms which were all tastefully decorated, clean and great value for money. The family lounge was a perfect place to relax and- as we weren’t expecting breakfast- the availability of cereals, bread, milk and juice along with tea and coffee was a much welcomed way to get us started on our day the next morning. Sadly we never met the hosts as we were running late, but communication with Gareth was absolutely spot on, and liked the note that was left on the door for our arrival.

There were a few wobbly floor boards in the corridor which I soon learnt to manoeuvre around 😆 Perhaps it would have been helpful to have an idiots guide on how to use the coffee machines…My mum was very excited to use it but ended up making cold coffee! 🙈

Friendly helpful check in Great communal lounge with kitchen, appreciated the self serve breakfast. Quirky 1960’s furniture very tastefully furnished. The room was good value, just fine. Quiet, restful. The cafe attached called wee bear cafe is very fashionable and popular, lovely coffee and huge selection of cakes. We enjoyed walk by the loch. Thank you very nice

Wee bear cafe was closed when we arrived in the evening- they have music and comedy nights, but not during our stay, that would have been fantastic. It’s not clear on booking . Com that the cafe is part of the facility

noisy guests in one room, not keeping their voices low and sauntering around as if they owned the place tramping up/down corridor. Taking over the guest/kitchen area and being persistently loud and not considering other guests. This put a dampener on our stay. Having to wait in a queue to make your own breakfast, pop the toast, get to the kettle due to the design of the galley kitchen. I would have preferred the owner open up the cafe area for when there are 5 rooms fully booked, so much easier for guests to help themselves in a larger area, or indeed be served a breakfast - but of course I understand that the owner likely knows what works for them and their business - just an observation.

Everything! It was a really lovely place, great size of room and amazing shower! The accommodation was in a very peaceful and picturesque area, with lovely walks nearby. Having a communal sitting room with games, TV etc was such a bonus. Having a kitchen off the communal sittingroom where we had a lovely breakfast at no extra cost was very generous, and very much appreciated.

The location is beautiful & just nestled in the perfect spot. I loved the homely feel of the place and just felt so peaceful. We stayed in the highland cow room & it was small but just perfect for us. Spacious bathroom! The loch is just over the wall & is beautiful too. Loved the place all in all & great for a few days away. We didn’t use the cafe but it looked gorgeous!

The bed was rather creaky & looking at the joints on it- need tightening or a new frame. Mattress quite hard/worried to move with the bed frame.

The location was very peaceful and beautiful. Gareth gave us all the directions so that we could easily find the lodge. We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival, our room was cozy and clean. We enjoyed the living area and the breakfast had everything we needed for a day.

Keep in mind that the sound isolation is very thin, so you will be able to hear your neighbours if they are a bit loud.

This wonderful place was close to a lake in a peaceful countryside. The rooms were very nice and clean. There was extra space in the shared living room to sit and play games, or to cook breakfast in the morning with many things left for the guests in the fridge. Gareth was a very nice host, we only spent one day there, would have loved to stay longer!

Being in Scotland (and fairly north), it was light outside until very late and also early in the morning. Being a light sleeper, I would have preferred curtains or blinds on all the windows in our room to block out some of that light whilst I was trying to sleep. The small windows had them, but the larger angled window in the roof didn't. A fitted roller blind in tracks would have been ideal.

Quiet location within a hour's travel time to Dundee or Perth if you want to travel into city. I was in a nice room with quaint features, but everything you need for a peaceful space. The facilities are self catering however the hosts supply a continental type breakfast along with with fresh milk for your cereal if you want which was a nice way to start the day before going out for a day of being a tourist. I travelled alone and felt safe within the premises.

For the heating to be on on the first night but it wasn't too cold I put on a hoodie, the shower jets to be fixed but it is the end of season and had a nice shower just some of the jets not quite working as they should.
