We had the great pleasure of spending a few days with Karen and Graham in Alyth – and everything was simply perfect! The accommodation is beautifully decorated with incredible attention to detail, spotless, and radiates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. Each room reflects the care and love Karen and Graham put into their home. A true highlight was the delicious breakfast and dinner, freshly prepared by Karen. Every meal was full of flavor, made with love, and absolutely delightful. Graham took the time every day to help us plan our activities, offering personalized recommendations and even printing out custom maps and tips tailored to our interests – such thoughtful and rare hospitality! Karen and Graham’s warmth and generosity are truly special. We wholeheartedly recommend staying with them and experiencing their wonderful hospitality for yourself. Thank you both for an unforgettable stay – we’d love to come back!

The hotel and rooms have a lovely decor and a very cute garden. Breakfast was very tasty and made for each guest, great selection as well. Room was spacious with a comfy bed and well equipped bathtub/shower!

Very strict check in at 4pm which didnt work for us as we were coming for one night/event from London (which started at 2pm and we had a flight back at 2pm the next day). So we could not access the hotel or any facilities at all (we didn't expect to access/use the room, but it was ready) leave luggage, thankfully we had relatives nearby so used their hotel. We did manage to give our breakfast order and get the keys as we physically could not come back before the evening after the event is finished, but the inability to have a proper chat when we arrived I believe lead to some lack of instructions and confusion for us.

Wow, if I had more time, I would have liked to have stayed longer. I booked in Alyth as a place mid-way on my travels and was pleasantly surprised. Everything was lovely! The common areas, the room, the breakfast, the garden. The hosts were friendly and had great suggestions on things to see as well as possible interesting locations and routes to my next destination. The breakfast room looks out on the lovely garden. To start, I had the homemade granola with fruit and yogurt, then a delicious cooked breakfast. I gambled on the Aylth Hotel for dinner, a short walk away and it was pretty good food, very casual atmosphere and service. Note that food options are a bit limited in town, especially on a Sunday night or if you'd prefer to walk. Make a booking if you can to ensure a table and verify kitchen hours.

Tigh na Leigh is truly one of the best places I've ever stayed! Karen and Graham have created a beautiful, tasteful, restful retreat that you shouldn't miss. The home itself has been lovingly restored and renewed where needed while retaining the original elegance. Karen and Graham are very welcoming and a wealth of information about the locale. The garden is a peaceful oasis with hidden treasures scattered throughout. The breakfast was delicious and I so enjoyed the food and the breakfast room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the garden. There is also amazing, original art gathered from Karen and Graham's travels.

Loved Decor ,furnishings towels best ever used, spa bath a dream bed so so comfy,coffee machine,bottles water,room with four poster huge ,smart tv ,plenty storage,complimentry hand body lotion,showergel shampoo,bed made room tidied every day fresh towels 3rd day.Bfast was luxurious plenty of choice service by Grahame was superb.Bfast room was such a beautifull place to sit overlooking pretty garden .Welcome was best we have ever experienced,did not want leave.

Parking was tight as lots cars,but parked on side road ,would of liked bath robes more milk sugar but we didn't ask to be fair,a small fridge in room for bubbles more ice available ,ice bucket maybe in room 😅 again we didnt ask as im sure would of been provided,none of this spoilt an exquisite stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Alyth form the first to the last minute. The guest house (a former doctor's house) has been beautifully renovated and furnished with various design objects, thus creating an unique and welcoming atmosphere. Our room on the 2nd floor was spacious, cosy and quite. Our hosts Graham and Karen did not only provide us with delicious breakfast and unparalleled hospitality, but also with tons of valueable tips for trips around the area. Its those little local tips that you cannot find in any travel guide, but they make your day unforgettable. So we discovered scottish lochs,waterfalls, parks and villages that we would not have seen otherwise. Supported by sunny wheather, we made wonderful experiences and we hope to remember them for a long time. Would like to come back. Thanks for those good days !

We had a fantastic stay at Tigh Na Leigh. The hosts Karen and Graham were wonderful, and they made our stay so memorable and welcoming. Graham provided us with lots of information on local spots and trails to visit. This was so helpful because we hadn't researched the area beforehand. Graham will be your local guide! We also had an opportunity to dine there, and their seasonal menu is not to miss. The same goes to their hearty breakfast which included homemade bread and jam/marmelade (Thank you, Karen!). Our room was clean and tidy, and we had everything that we needed. It's such a lovely place with lots of character.

Everything….such a beautiful house that has been tastefully designed by Karen (owner) with a lovely, warm and relaxing atmosphere. Every room has a unique look with colourful furnishings and quirky artworks. Super clean with everything you need in the room. Comfortable bed and quality linen, lovely bathroom with good pressure and water temperature in shower. Cooked breakfast was delicious and the best of produce used. Karen’s home made jams, compote and granola tasted amazing. Graham was great and told us everything we needed to know when we arrived, he couldn’t have been more helpful. Offered to drive us to our evening meal booking, provided torch for our walk back and provided a fleece for hubby who had gone to breakfast in a T-shirt :) I can honestly say it’s the best B and B we have stayed in.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Excellent. 100% recommended. The house is spectacular, with a really beautiful design, very well maintained and with all the details. There are very nice common spaces. The hosts were super friendly, they showed us the route through the Caingroms (a great success) and recommended a place for dinner that we really liked. Very good breakfast. Room very beautiful and comfortable. They also have a fairly large and very beautiful garden. And parking.

Everything was perfect.

The area is beautiful ❤️. Lovely to walk around. We were given a wonderful welcome to the guesthouse which included a tour. The house is amazing and the decor is Devine. Karen has great taste. We had a taste of some homemade treats from rhubarb jam to granola. Breakfast came with the price, it was amazing. Fresh eggs from the chickens on site. Nothing was ever a bother. A relaxed, chilled atmosphere. Could come and go as we pleased. Graeme even highlighted a waterfall nearby that we could visit on our route home. Our room was fantastic. We had a lounge area that led to the en suite and bedroom. Very cost and comfortable. Could hear traffic or other guests. The shower was amazing too. I cannot fault this guesthouse and would recommend anyone to stay. You won't regret it.
