A great little country hotel with amazing staff. Food was great, eaten in the bar next to an open fire, so a great atmosphere. There’s also a restaurant section you can sit in as well. Definitely recommend the steak or and chips, along with the nacho’s to share as a starter. Drinks not too expensive, just the same as everywhere else really. The room was a little dated but very comfortable and clean. It was also good to have a bathroom with not only a bath but shower as well. We were in room 3 so just up a small flight of stairs directly above the entrance and reception. So no long flights of stairs to navigate. Parking the car outside was no issue, with lots of off street parking and a small spar shop opposite ideal for buying things you’d forgot to pack.

The down side to being in room 3 was that all residents have key to get into the building as reception isn’t 24hrs. This meant that those arriving back from a wedding reception at 12:45 in the morning could congregate on the stairs and have a conversation that could be heard in Perth 😬😂. To be honest it could happen anywhere and isn’t the fault of the hotel in any way. We would still come back, and still recommend.

Great location just off the main Perth to Dundee road. Ideal for quick get away to Dundee on the morning. NB - this is not a 'destination city' - its a rural location - suitable only for people arriving by car - or by bus, though the bus stop for the buses between Perth and Dundee stop on the slip road, and are about a half mile walk back in to the village.

it would have been good if the evening meals had been served beyond 8pm, but it was OK, we knew we would not arrive till around 8.45, and we phoned ahead to check.

A superb location with extremely friendly staff and a handy store and cafe within a few minutes walk of the hotel. We were also surprised to find an avenue of California Giant Redwoods just beyond the School!

Our room was a little dark and warm, with sloping floors. The bathroom could do with an update. Small criticisms all in all, which I trust will be helpful.

We stayed for two nights with my husband for a wedding and we were really happy with our stay. The hotel is calm, the bed is confortable, the room is spacious and the breakfast they serve is really good. We were also pleased with the friendliness of the staff.

The water pressure in the bathroom is really bad. It wasn't easy to wash my hair but apart from that, all was good.

I really enjoyed my stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was great. The hotel is an old building but my room was clean and well equipped.

It was a shame that there is no breakfast served in the morning as I had to head off before 9am. They did offer a brunch option starting at 11. I bought some food at the spar across the road instead.

Location very near to A90. Easy access to 5 local wedding venues Spar shop across the road. Breakfast very good and well presented lovely staff. Bar served meals SKY TV with football Good atmosphere. The Owner was very friendly and happy to share local knowledge.

No view from room 3 made it feel a little small.

The Inchture Hotel is a really lovely hotel, with friendly staff and great services. I had a few drinks in the pub the night when I arrived and the barman was very friendly and the service from everyone else was top notch.

My room was slightly slanted upwards, but that is just due to the age of the building since I doubt it could even be fixed due to maybe the building being listed? The gradient wasn't too steep though.

We were there for a wedding at fingask castle. One tip order taxis well in advance if your going to a wedding there call the hotel for local numbers. The staff were brilliant the food was delicious. rooms a bit dated and a few cobwebs on the lights but comfortable and perfect for what we needed.

Arriving to a smile helps to start the process. and a helpful reception was what we received. We had a little problem with teh bed, but imagine our surprise after a fabulous dinner, that the cost was waived. we then went and left a coat, which they located and posted to us. To say they go over and above is to underestimate them. The bar is cosy and friendly, the restaurant light and airy with superb well chosen food and well priced to. The location is quiet but close to Dundee and stunning countryside, as well as the fab Abertyne Antiques Centre, which was a grand 4 hours of browsing! When I head up that area again.. this will be my choice of hotel. Loved it.

As always, there are things that could be better, but really, the "bed" incident, was nobodies fault. and raised a chuckle from us. Anything that can be improved is one of those difficult questions, that deserves an answer. Stay exactly as you are, its all good ;)

Room was big and spacious, bed was extremely comfy and Wi-Fi worked well. Staff were extremely helpful when we required a sewing kit to fix an outfit

Not the hotels issue at all but be aware the actual phone service in the town is poor and you may not get signal for your stay
