3 of us had drinks at the bar then had dinner in the restaurant. The food was fresh, great quality & there was a good selection to choose from. The staff are friendly & happy. A busy wee place with a good vibe with background music which was a variety of classic rock, soul & pop. Definitely return.

I got the breakfast time wrong & we appeared after 9am. I felt I was putting the staff out but they were amazing, they were happy to serve us & we had a quick bite to eat with fresh tea/coffee. (We were grateful to the staff as we were restricted to a time schedule & had to leave promptly to attend a funeral).

I had an upset tummy and the staff could not have been more helpful in proving a small plate of food to help, This is a friendly tavern with good food, pleasant rooms and kind, helpful staff.

We were really impressed. I have to be honest and say we weren’t expecting much with the price we paid but the room was spotless (apart from one mark on the ceiling). Check in was easy, staff were lovely, great location, bar area is nice and friendly. We didn’t eat there at all during our stay as we were visiting friends but have eaten there many times before and have always been impressed. We would definitely stay again.

The water pipes were very noisy in our room and likely annoyed most of the other guests, seemed to be maybe trapped air? As long as you flushed the toilet and ran the tap at the same time it seemed to clear the system

Great location near the sea front. Breakfast was very good. We also booked ourselves in for lunch and had a fabulous meal. Room size was adequate and was very clean and decor up to date. It’s a busy vibrant pub and on the night of our stay had entertainment in house. We went to bed before the band finished but you could hardly hear them from the room and it didn’t interfere with our early night.

Couldn’t fault anything. The parking is on street which could potentially have been an issue but we bagged a spot right outside the door.

Absolutely nothing to fault. Warm, comfortable, welcoming. Food delicious both dinner and breakfast. Modern well furnished bedroom, best sleep I've had in ages. Staff made me feel like family even persuading me to get involved with the pub quiz that evening. Thank you to Tracy, Amy, Sarah and to the friendly guy that cooked my breakfast...and not forgetting all the other members of staff involved.

Staff are always lovely 😍 The food is always amazing. We always mean to try other places in The Ferry, but usually end up in The Fisherman's Tavern as we know it's freshly cooked for us and always taste fab.

Toilet paper thin and scratchy 😕. Will take my own next time ☺️. And there is only one tiny coffee sachet per person, per day....a little stingy 😑. We do like a couple of coffees before we venture out. It wouldn't stop us coming back though.

On arrival I received a warm welcome and the check-in was completed quickly and my room was available immediately. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean, as was the bathroom and shower. Access to the room from the outside was very easy at all times as there was a separate entrance for those staying and you did not have to go via the tavern bar or those eating. It would definitely recommend and I will return in the future.

The shower cubicle is not overly large but you are restricted by the size by the amount of room available but the shower itself you could not fault and there was always piping hot water available. It would help if the Booking.com site was clearer in that breakfast was available, I was only really aware when it was offered upon my arrival.

Great location, fantastic big room which had everything we needed, was clean, nice bathroom. Staff were all excellent.

From 7.30am there was extremely loud music and singing from the kitchen which woke us up. Was a bit disappointing there didn't seem to be any consideration for guests. I did mention it to the lady at check out but she seemed a bit surprised there was music. If you take earplugs or don't mind getting woken early, this is defo a great place to stay.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Great selection of beers and spirits. Rooms very clean and warm. Lovely food and great service. Have stopped here numerous times and would recommend it for anyone visiting Dundee. In Broughton Ferry area , plenty of bars a places to eat. 👍💯🍺🥃👍

Room was on the top floor but this was my fault as I neglected to mention our mobility issues when booking but this did not affect our stay. 👍💯👍

Central location for walking around Broughty Ferry with easy access to surrounding areas. Clean and comfortable room, great nights sleep with comfy beds and quiet room, wouldn’t think you were above a Tavern! Great shower and toiletries, staff extremely professional, helpful and friendly at all times. Breakfast and evening meals outstanding. Highly recommend
