The hosts! Fiona & Bryan are absolutely amazing hosts. They looked after me like I was an old friend. Their attention to detail with everything was exemplary. The room layout, the supplies in the room, the pots of tea offered even outside the breakfast sitting, suggestions on things to do and see, directions, places to eat, nothing was a bother. Their property is beautifully maintained and the front garden is gorgeous. Set back up off the road the room was very quiet, bright and sunny with lovely views. And the breakfast!!! The best breakfast in Scotland

Nothing, it was a delightful stay

We stayed for 4 nights. The place is really lovely. Conveniently located in Dundee, very quiet. Room and bathroom nicely furnished, very clean, very comfortable. Bryan and Fiona are exceptional hosts and persons. We enjoyed our conversation at breakfast. Breakfast is a 5 start deal "a la carte". Fiona is a professional chef and there is a printed menu with all the choices available to you: coffee, tea, toast, eggs, sausage, porridge, overnight oat, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cookies, home made jams and marmalade, juices, toasted sandwiches, French toast and more, or you can get a full English / Scottish breakfast. We will surely go back.

One of the best hotel experience i have ever had. Fiona and Bryan are just the perfect host: infinitely kind, respectful, helpful and with so many good tips about dundee. The place is so clean that it is possible to eat on the floor, despite the carpet. The breakfast is tipically scots and homemade, full of marvelous Fiona’s jams. Despite my many food allergies i never have any problems since they are so attentive. The room is adorable, with the curtains and the tea set near the window. I definitely recommend Fiona and Bryan’s house for holidays, if you’re looking for a family vacation.

Fiona and Bryan are delightful and caring hosts. Their historic home on the hill is charmingly renovated. The bedroom is well appointed and comes with so many extra touches. The breakfast selections Fiona prepares (she's a trained chef) are among the best B&B breakfasts we've ever had. To top it off, she invited us to pick strawberries from their three patches so we could share with my son in St Andrews.

We stayed here because St Andrews was booked out or very expensive. I didn't get the sense that there was much in walking distance. You will need a car.

Our hosts Fiona & Bryan really made us feel so welcome in their home. Our breakfast was first class & we had plently of options from the continental choices. We were also provided with beautiful home made cake & cookies to take in a "doggie bag" for later ( which we did). Thoroughly enjoyed the home made jams & marmalade. Our bed was so comfortable, the quality of the bed linen was excellent. Fiona & Bryan were exceptional hosts, thanks to you both.

Probably one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed at. Fiona and Brian were absolutely wonderful hosts. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, they couldn't do more for us. Tea and homemade tiffin in their gorgeous garden, scrumptious breakfast all homemade with extra loveliness like a doggie bag for homemade cookies. We would have needed to stay a full week to try all the breakfasts. As vegetarians we were extremely well catered for which made a refreshing change. Loved the bedroom, great size overlooking the garden. Very quiet at night. Good bus links into town. Parking right outside. What more can I say, apart from thank you so much and we'll be back!

Dupplin152 had one of the highest rating on Booking.com we had seen, so we thought we would see why. The room was beautifully appointed. On arrival one host gave us an orientation while the other lugged our overweight bag to our room, which we greatly appreciated. As for the breakfast, the chef prepared selections that were the best we had during our 3 week vacation. Thank you

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Initially we thought the location was a little confusing to find, but turns out it was convenient to restaurants for other meals.

Breakfast was more than substantial! Full Scottish breakfast if you so wished with fruits/ cheese / yoghurt/cereals. My first time trying Haggis and Black pudding with some reservation. Fiona has made me a convert- so tasty, crisp outside, no hint of offal! Loved being able to make my own expresso on the nespresso machine. Brown paper bags and disposable cups for you to pack fruits / home baked cookies or coffee when on the go. What can I say? Only compliments for Bryan and Fiona.

The front garden was a surprise even it is still in process. The room is stylish and is large enough for two people and two 28-inch luggages. We enjoyed all breakfast we had there not only because of the freshly made food, but also the small talks with the owners and other guests. It is the best B&B of the 5 B&Bs that we stayed during the trip.
